About: I run a private pet sitting business outside of Rover. I don’t have many ratings on here because most of my business comes from people who know me, and word of mouth. I’m happy to provide references. I recently lost my 14.5 year old husky and I loved him more than anything in the world. :( Animals are so special and they deserve the best care. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I left my life and job in Toronto just to move my dog back home to the farm where he was the happiest, and I’ve spent the last 5 months just taking care of him. Your pet won’t just receive mediocre care with me, they will receive the BEST care! There is lots of space for them to run around outdoors and beautiful trails for us to walk, but I will of course keep them on a leash unless otherwise specified by the owner. I understand the anxiety of leaving your precious pet with a stranger. I am an overprotective animal parent, and all your requests will be adhered to. Your pet will never be left unattended. They will be cared for the entire time. The fear of something happening to your pet while you’re away is everyone’s worst nightmare, but rest assured , I am aware of signs to look for in an emergency. I will contact you right away, and will have no issues taking them for immediate care. Your pet will be in the best hands possible, I can assure you of that :) I am currently not working due to the loss of my pet, so all of my time will be dedicated to your pet. :) I will be starting to work every other weekend at the end of March, but other than that, I am open. I will only do drop in visits, or walking in London, because I go there often, or within 15 minutes of where I live, unless you are ok with paying extra for gas. I couldn’t adjust my settings to accommodate this unfortunately. I think I covered most of this in my pet care experience paragraph, but I live on a big farm. I have a decent sized dog crate here if needed/preferred, but I’m happy to have your pet inside with me, or to visit your home. I put a $50 drop off/pick up fee, as I wasn’t sure what the distance would be, but I am open to discussing rates for this depending on distance.

I spent 10 years owning and operating a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I cared for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with special needs. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾 I work from home, I am home all the time. Happy to help with doggy daycare if you need your dog to come and play in a large fenced in area. I have many opportunities throughout the day to allow for free play outside, and lots of dog beds (couches if they're allowed!) throughout the house. I am available for overnight boarding on weekdays and weekends, including holidays. I have a large 1/4 acre fully fenced yard and my own two small dogs, both around 10 pounds, both female (spayed). There is a doggy door to the yard for full and free access to the fenced yard if your dog is able to use the doggy door, if not I have a sliding patio door and man door to let them in and out. My dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, yours will be too, unless you prefer they aren't allowed for manners training! My home is puppy proofed (my one dog is a 6 month old puppy), so everything is out of reach and puppy safe. I have 2 sphynx cats as well that love dogs, and the cat litter is behind gates and out of reach for dogs. I have two children, ages 10 and 12. They have grown up with many dogs and cats, we had a busy dog boarding kennel for their entire childhood until we sold it a few years ago.

About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I currently go to classes two times a week. Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had dogs my entire life, primarily large breeds, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my daily life. I understand their needs, routines, and personalities, and I am comfortable handling everything from energetic, playful dogs to calmer companions who just want steady attention and affection. I currently have a friendly poodle who is used to being around other dogs and helps create a relaxed, welcoming environment for visiting pups. I’ve always had dogs and have experience with poodles, Dalmatians, and Labradors. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with medical needs, including diabetes, seizure disorders, and Addison’s disease, so I’m comfortable with medications, routines, and watching for warning signs. I’m confident introducing new dogs and pay close attention to body language to ensure safe, positive interactions. My current poodle is well trained with excellent recall and is free on our farm, but visiting dogs are always kept safely on leash or long line unless otherwise discussed with owners. I also spend time at dog parks and have an invisible fence at the farm. Safety, supervision, and respecting each dog’s individual needs are always my top priorities. I provide care both in my London home and, when appropriate and with owner approval, at our family farm. In London, dogs enjoy a safe, calm, and structured environment with regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. At the farm, dogs have access to wide open spaces, fresh air, and safe, supervised outdoor time that many dogs absolutely love. I am experienced with feeding schedules, basic medications, and maintaining each dog’s normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable while you are away. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels and will always flag anything that seems off. Whether your dog prefers couch cuddles or room to roam, I make sure their stay is tailored to what makes them happiest. I work from home many days each week and live very close to work, so I can easily pop home at lunch on office days. Our own dog is part of our daily routine, so feeding, outdoor breaks, playtime, and walks are built into every day. I always take our poodle for a 30 min walk. Dogs in our home are treated like part of the family. I follow each dog’s normal feeding schedule, walking routine, and any special instructions provided by their owner so they feel comfortable and settled. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Our home is calm, clean, and dog-friendly, with lots of space to relax and safe areas for play. We do have a fenced yard and a pool but can make sure dogs do not go into the pool (our dog avoids it). I supervise interactions closely, especially during meals and playtime, and make sure every dog has their own comfortable place to rest. Because I work from home many days a week and I live close to my work. When appropriate and with owner approval, I can also bring dogs to our family farm, where they can enjoy fresh air, wide open space, and safe, supervised outdoor time. Whether a dog prefers quiet cuddles or room to roam, I adjust their care to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home.
