âThis was Maisyâs first day away from us and she did really well. Tori and Bobby were perfect hosts, making Maisy feel very much at home. We appreciated Tori asking questions about our practices around the house so as to be consistent. And the bonus was that Maisy came home happy and exhausted! We couldnât be happier with our first Rover experience!â

âJennifer was great with my pup and sent lots of pics and updates! She was reliable and sweet for my pup! And was able to take her on short notice which I greatly appreciated!â

âCharlanne is incredible with my puppy Dalton. Her calming presence made Dalton feel comfortable and he warmed up to her right away. It is very apparent that Charlanne gives so much love to Dalton and treats him as her own. It gives me such relief to know that my pup is getting great care while I am away. Dalton loves arriving at Charlanneâs and is tuckered out by the end of the day! She keeps him active which is much appreciated. Charlanne is great with communication and always keeps me up-to-date through messages, videos and pictures. I highly recommend Charlanne!â

About: Hi! Iâm Karen, and caring for animals has been my lifelong passion and career. I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of every age, size, and temperament. I spent 10 years owning and operating a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I cared for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with special needs. Iâm also an experienced positive reinforcement dog trainer, having taught puppy classes, basic obedience, and agility. Before opening my facility, I worked as a dog walker throughout university, and I was raised by two veterinariansâso Iâve truly grown up with this work. I understand canine body language, behavior, and how to create a safe, structured, and happy environment for all pets in my home. Your petâs comfort and safety come first. I have a large, secure fenced in yard, plenty of space to play, and quiet areas for rest. If youâre traveling with a mixed pet family, I also have safe, separate areas for cats, thanks to my years of running a combined dog-and-cat boarding program. Iâm experienced with: ⢠Puppies (training, socialization, house manners) ⢠Senior dogs (gentle routines, mobility support) ⢠Dogs with medical or behavioral needs ⢠Administering medications, including special diets and schedules, including insulin injections if needed My goal is to make your dog feel like theyâre part of the family while giving you total peace of mind. Iâm attentive, reliable, and committed to providing the same level of care Iâd want for my own animals. I work full time from home, so I am always around. I canât wait to meet your furry family member! đž I work from home, I am home all the time. Happy to help with doggy daycare if you need your dog to come and play in a large fenced in area. I have many opportunities throughout the day to allow for free play outside, and lots of dog beds (couches if they're allowed!) throughout the house. I am available for overnight boarding on weekdays and weekends, including holidays. I have a large 1/4 acre fully fenced yard and my own two small dogs, both around 10 pounds, both female (spayed). There is a doggy door to the yard for full and free access to the fenced yard if your dog is able to use the doggy door, if not I have a sliding patio door and man door to let them in and out. My dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, yours will be too, unless you prefer they aren't allowed for manners training! My home is puppy proofed (my one dog is a 6 month old puppy), so everything is out of reach and puppy safe. I have 2 sphynx cats as well that love dogs, and the cat litter is behind gates and out of reach for dogs. I have two children, ages 10 and 12. They have grown up with many dogs and cats, we had a busy dog boarding kennel for their entire childhood until we sold it a few years ago.
About: I run a private pet sitting business outside of Rover. I donât have many ratings on here because most of my business comes from people who know me, and word of mouth. Iâm happy to provide references. I recently lost my 14.5 year old husky and I loved him more than anything in the world. :( Animals are so special and they deserve the best care. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs. I left my life and job in Toronto just to move my dog back home to the farm where he was the happiest, and Iâve spent the last 5 months just taking care of him. Your pet wonât just receive mediocre care with me, they will receive the BEST care! There is lots of space for them to run around outdoors and beautiful trails for us to walk, but I will of course keep them on a leash unless otherwise specified by the owner. I understand the anxiety of leaving your precious pet with a stranger. I am an overprotective animal parent, and all your requests will be adhered to. Your pet will never be left unattended. They will be cared for the entire time. The fear of something happening to your pet while youâre away is everyoneâs worst nightmare, but rest assured , I am aware of signs to look for in an emergency. I will contact you right away, and will have no issues taking them for immediate care. Your pet will be in the best hands possible, I can assure you of that :) I am currently not working due to the loss of my pet, so all of my time will be dedicated to your pet. :) I will be starting to work every other weekend at the end of March, but other than that, I am open. I will only do drop in visits, or walking in London, because I go there often, or within 15 minutes of where I live, unless you are ok with paying extra for gas. I couldnât adjust my settings to accommodate this unfortunately. I think I covered most of this in my pet care experience paragraph, but I live on a big farm. I have a decent sized dog crate here if needed/preferred, but Iâm happy to have your pet inside with me, or to visit your home. I put a $50 drop off/pick up fee, as I wasnât sure what the distance would be, but I am open to discussing rates for this depending on distance.
About: Iâve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, from the moment I was born. Over the years, my family has shared our home with Shih Tzus, German Shepherds, and Shepherd Collies. Today, I have my own Border CollieâLab mix named Finn, who is truly part of the familyâand Iâll treat your dog with the same love and care. We have one silly cat, and they shed a lot but we wouldn't change it for the world! I work from home and it's quite a flexible position so I am available for midday feedings or walks, as well as in the evenings. I have a fenced yard where our dogs can run around together. I have no problem with dogs who like to be on the furniture, they're family too. If you'd like your dog crated, we have a spare bedroom and would ask that you drop off all necessary items to do so.
