About: Hi! I’m Karen, and caring for animals has been my lifelong passion and career. I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of every age, size, and temperament. I spent 10 years owning and operating a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I cared for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with special needs. I have many opportunities throughout the day to allow for free play outside, and lots of dog beds (couches if they're allowed!) throughout the house. I am available for overnight boarding on weekdays and weekends, including holidays. I have a large 1/4 acre fully fenced yard and my own two small dogs, both around 10 pounds, both female (spayed). There is a doggy door to the yard for full and free access to the fenced yard if your dog is able to use the doggy door, if not I have a sliding patio door and man door to let them in and out. My dogs are allowed on the couch and bed, yours will be too, unless you prefer they aren't allowed for manners training! My home is puppy proofed (my one dog is a 6 month old puppy), so everything is out of reach and puppy safe. I have 2 sphynx cats as well that love dogs, and the cat litter is behind gates and out of reach for dogs. I have two children, ages 10 and 12. They have grown up with many dogs and cats, we had a busy dog boarding kennel for their entire childhood until we sold it a few years ago.

About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I have a Golden Retriever and her name is Juno, she is 3yr old and she is very friendly to all dogs . Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.

My home is a spacious apartment, and I allow puppies and kitties on my couch and bed. In fact, I love cuddling. So, I encourage it. However, your place will be your rules. I'm a home-body, and don't go out, but I do love walks. Your puppies will get the time outside they require. I have an adorable chihuahua and ginger kitten. Both are friendly with all types of animals. Also have a young boy who loves to play with animals. Especially fetch!

Your dog will be treated as well as each of my dogs were and as my current dog is. I love walking and will make sure your dog is exercised as they like. I would love to give my attention and care to your dog so you can know your have no worries while you are away I have an open schedule which I can work with to accommodate your timeline. If you need anything extra, just ask. I will always try to accommodate I have a fenced yard and my house is free from little kids and other animals. If I was to have another dog here I would make sure I had your permission first to give your dog the best experience possible.
