“Julia was fantastic! She jumped in last minute because of a medical emergency situation and looked after our two dog and our cat with joy, care, and thoroughness. She was genuinely empathetic about our situation, and was very accommodating. She even suggested and offered ways of caring for the dogs that I hadn't thought of. We are so grateful and appreciative of her intelligent and attentive to the care of our fur babies. 100% reliable!”

“Pratheeksha was very communicative and spent more time than requested with our cat, Tuna. When we came home we could tell Tuna was well fed and happy. We would book with her again.”

“Sofia took amazing care of my 2 kitties for 5 days while I was on vacation. She did an amazing job, I was comfortable on vacation as my kitties were left in great hands. She communicated with me extremely well, and sent so many photos! Couldnt have been more happy with the care she provided! Highly recommend❤️”

“Eric is amazing. Accountable and reliable. My two cats were in good hands, even though my Siamese has dietary difficulties. They were happy and doing well when I got back last night. I got photos every day at every visit. I would book again in a heartbeat.”

About: Pet lover through and through! Animals are family members and should be treated as such. Can’t wait to give all the scritchies! Thanks for considering! As a teacher, I am available most of the time during summer. I go back to work as a substitute teacher at the beginning of September. I may be called into work, and be gone from approximately 7:30 am to 4pm depending on the school location. I volunteer weekly at a cat shelter. Additionally, I take in feral cats & tame them. This experience has given me many skills, such as understanding pet’s boundaries, patience with behaviours, and more.
“This is the second time Charmaine watched my cat and she’s fantastic. He’s an older cat and needs pills twice a day at specific times, and she’s always on time, and very communicative with great updates. I feel very comfortable leaving my cat in her care and definitely recommend!”

“This was our first time using Rover and leaving our cat with a sitter we didn’t know, so we were a bit nervous at first. We’re so glad we met Tori! She has such a kind and caring personality that it immediately felt like we were leaving Earl with an old friend. We felt completely comfortable having her take care of our 12-year-old cat for almost two weeks. We loved receiving the report cards and photos at every check-in, and she captured Earl’s personality perfectly. We had left a fairly detailed list of instructions, and Tori followed everything perfectly. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We’re so happy we found Tori—she’s a wonderful fit for both us and Earl, and she will definitely be our primary sitter from now on.”

“Tannis was responsive with communications and left details messages and pics for us regarding her check ins and walks with our dog. She was accomodating with bookings. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. Thanks Tannis!”

About: I have had pets my whole life! As well have taken care of pets for family and friends, I am able to administer insulin to cats as my brothers is diabetic and I have been providing this care when he needs it! I have also dealt with my fair share of super nervous pets, who take a little bit of time to trust but always end up the sweetest. I am a full time worker, with 2 set days off that I am able to use to care for pets. I am also able to attend to pets after I finish work. Pets, belly rubs, ear and chin scritches. Taking them for walks, or just playing with them. Lots of pet cuddles as some require lots of affection
“Used Sarah a few times in the past to look after animals. She cares deeply about our animals and has great availability. My family is very grateful we can leave for the day or weekend with peace of mind our animals are safe at home.”
About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. As the owner of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Shih Tzu mix, I have experience caring for dogs of very different sizes, personalities, and needs. I am patient, reliable, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, maintaining routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while ensuring their pets receive loving and responsible care. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide frequent attention, supervision, potty breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s regular schedule and will do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and secure while you are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including large breeds and rescue animals. My home provides a calm and pet-friendly environment, and I always supervise interactions carefully. I follow each pet owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and understand how important it is to earn a pet’s trust and make them feel at home. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I provide regular updates, photos, and communication for peace of mind.
About: I’ve got 5+ years of experience caring for dogs and genuinely love animals. I focus on giving each pet safe, attentive, and personalized care so they’re happy and well-exercised. Pet care is already part of my daily routine since I’ve been taking care of my own dog for 5+ years. I make sure walks, playtime, and feeding are all done on time and naturally fit into my day. At my home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable with space to play, regular meals, and fun activities. I keep things clean and follow any specific care instructions closely when I’m at a client’s home too.
About: Hi, name is Michelle! I have a passion for animals of all types! I was in the pet industry for over 4 years caring for many different types of reptiles, all small animals, birds, fish, cats, dogs, you name it! I love every critter out there and treat each one likes it’s my own. If you need someone to look after your pet, take it for a walk or even just check in while you’re away or at work I’m your girl! I also have a lot of experience with administering medication and watching pets with special care. I’m reliable for you and patient with your pets. Im excited to cuddle them, love them and take care of them for you. A house is not a home without a pet🤍 I work in real estate with my husband so my schedule is very flexible and I do most of my job from my computer so I have ample time to spend with your furry friends. Although I had to technically select that I live in an apartment I actually live on the main level of a warehouse condo with private access, a yard and a garage!
About: I have taken care of animals for the past few years now. I have helped friends and family with whatever they need for their pet.I have bathed both cats and dogs, taken dogs on walks, cleaned litter boxes and ect. I do want to expand more on my expertise on taking care of pets as I go. I currently am working part-time, although I will have plently of time to take care of your pet whenever I don't have work or when I get off of work. I currently live in an apartment with no backyard,so I wouldn't be able to take care of your pup at my home.Although I would be sure to commute to your home as needed. As for cats I would be able to take care of them at either your home or mine.
About: I have owned and fostered dogs for most of my adult life. However, currently I don't have any pets of my own, making my house a perfect home away from home for your senior or "only child" dog! I will only host one dog at a time and have experience with senior pets and medical cases. I also have experience with cats and reptiles. I work from home with a fairly flexible schedule which will allow me to walk your dog as required and love on them regularly! I have a large, fully fenced backyard to play in and I'm available weekends unless indicated. My home is a bungalow with only three required stairs for sensitive seniors, and a baby gate to contain to the main floor if required. There is a large, fully fenced backyard and nearby parks for walks. There are no small children in my home or garbages to get into, even for counter surfers! I do prefer that your dog is crate trained in case I leave the house but I can also work around it. Dogs are also welcome on the furniture and bed here 😊
About: I grew up around animals my whole life which includes dogs and cats, but also lizards, fish and horses. I currently live with 2 cats (one of whom will shower love on any being who comes into our home and the other will ensure to watch you from her favourite spot under the blankets). We would love to have weekend visitors as I work during the week. I work Monday to Friday which leaves me to focus on animals on weekends. If a pet were to stay during the week, morning/after work and maybe during lunch are when I'd be available for pet care. Due to high demand for medication administration, there will an extra $5 for day 1-4 and 5+ days will be an extra $10. I have a fully fenced back yard and I do a lot of yard work and play outside with animals as the back yard is a good size! My home is pet friendly with furniture being fair game. As I have pets who like get into everything, the house is pet proof. I also have a baby gate (I'm also an auntie who has kids come and visit) which can help keep pets apart if needed. I also live right across the street from a park for nice walks!

Eric was super reliable. I was away for a longer period than normal, and he did 2 video calls with me and my cat. There was an issue with my lock one day, and he made sure that it was resolved and my cat taken care of, even though it took longer than usual. I feel much better about being away, knowing that he is taking care of my Danny.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
There are 111 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Regina. About 100% of Regina sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Regina stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Regina choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
