“Jordan took great care of our cat, and even though she isn't a fan of strangers, she got used to Jordan over time. She was very reliable and kept us updated with messages and photos. Everything went really well, and we'd love to use her services again.”

About: I've grown up having dogs my whole life, and was raised with a deaf dog! I love pets and playtime and I am used to slobber! Subject to change, but I currently have open availability! Anytime and any day works just fine for me, and i'm usually available on short notice! The more specific your instructions, the better I can connect with your pet and make them feel as comfortable as possible. I love cuddling with my pets and making sure they're fed and well loved as they deserve to be. :)
About: I groom, sit and walk dogs professionally, which is nice because grooming clients that come to me for sitting are already comfortable with me and my place. I am fit enough to handle big dogs, and gentle enough to make anxious dogs feel safe. I don't have any pets of my own in the house (I get all my dog cuddles from my furry clients). As a self-employed dog groomer, my schedule is whatever I make it. Generally, people want grooming services on weekends, and walking during weekdays, so those dovetail nicely. I have a house with a fenced yard and no other occupants, human nor critter, so the dogs get my undivided attention and a quiet, peaceful environment. Half a block from the park excellent walking trails with lots of smells.
About: I am passionate about animals and have experience training puppies and working with many different types of dogs. I have owned many animals throughout my life. I am available during the mornings Monday to Thursday until 12pm and free all day Friday and Saturdays. I am free for overnight Friday evenings. Lots of play time, interaction and exercise! Feeding, watering and taking out for bathroom breaks when needed. And can't forget the belly rubs of course!
“Sofia was reliable and took great care of our cats while we were away. She came twice a day to give our diabetic cat his insulin and would send photos of the cats while she played with them. Would love to have Sofia feed and check in on the cats again when we go away. Thanks Sofia!”

About: I have had dogs, cats, aquatics and birds as pet in my hometown. More than happy to host or sit any of your fur babies. I am living alone in my apartment and would love a company to keep me entertained mainly over the weekend and weekday evenings as well. I would like to follow the same way client takes care of their pets unless if client specifically asks to do in a different way.
About: I have constantly been around Dogs for most of my life. I grew up with family members all having dogs and my family included having a dog. I have a dog at this moment who is a german shepherd, rottie and i love him to pieces. I love being around animals and taking them on long walks. I love having a cuddle buddy and being able to have some entertainment throughout the day/night. I also have a Mastiff mix who is 1 years old I am working Monday- Thursday 8-5pm then some days of the week 6-10 after my full day job. Then Fridays I do have school in the AM or work 8-5. I am busy but I do have an hour lunch that I can run home and let the dog(s) out. I have a fenced yard, i take my dog for walks constantly, love playing games, cuddling, keeping smaller objects away from them. . . .
“I highly recommend Shianne! They were absolutely fantastic with my cat and I felt completely at ease leaving them in their care. She followed my instructions perfectly, provided regular updates with photos/videos, and my pet was clearly happy and well-cared for during my trip. I will definitely be using Shianne again!”

About: I've owned and taken care of cats anddogs for over 30 years. We've had dogs both big and small and each one has given us a lifetime of love! I am comfortable and able to provide medical injections to your fur baby. I currently work full time during the day but am available evenings and weekends. We have a fairly flexible schedule and can work around your pets needs. I will come to your fur baby to care for them. I have a valid driver's liscence. References available on request. Please reach out with any questions.
“Lacy was great with our cats and helped us with our fish & shrimp as well. Our one cat who’s generally standoffish was great with her which says a lot about how much her kind energy and calm demeanour comes off to even the animals. We will definitely be rebooking with Lacy when we need a pet sitter!”
“Kayla was great! She came over to meet us and our puppy and learn what would be needed prior to our booking. She arrived on time and left us with a nice update including pictures. Our puppy was happy to have her loving attention!”
About: In addition to pet-parenting my 11 year old boy Jack, my partner Jim and I have fostered 19 dogs for Regina Lucky Paws Dog Rescue (LPDR). And 1 through Angels of Hope Dog Rescue (AOH). We’ve had the privilege of giving 20 beautiful pups a chance at life. All shapes and sizes with all sorts of needs. My family is accepting of sharing our home as long as I don't ask to keep any. (*tsk*) I provide a safe space and a feeling of home for your loved one. They aren’t a guest as much as they are honorary family members. Socializing, mental stimulation, backyard romps, cuddles, belly rubs, nap time as well as yummy snacks (as authorized by the pet parent) are what you can expect from me. I have a fully fenced backyard, finished basement and security cameras. Your babies are never out of sight. We also have a front porch which ensures safe drop off and pick ups.
About: I have 2 puppies back home, and have an absolute love for dogs, as well as cats. I live with 2 dogs as well as my own kitty named Ollie. I have had animals my whole entire life! I’m currently working part time so i have lots of time to care, and play with your animals. I am also a university student in Education I will always love and care for your pup. i have a true love for them, since i have had one since i was born
About: I grew up with dogs and have pet sat off and on all my life. I've always enjoyed caring for and especially training my dogs. My boy, Picket, is 2 years old, so I'm coming to Rover as a deeply caring pet owner with fresh training under my belt. In fact, not too long ago our family was looking for a sitter and couldn't find someone local to Moose Jaw who was both available and affordable. This experience sparked a desire in me to offer pet-sitting services. I work part time from home and have lots of flexibility throughout the day to spend time with your pup. They'll also have a low key bud in our dog, Picket. I have a friendly Bernadoodle named Picket who is low key with older dogs (we had a 12 year old boy here recently), or ready to play with younger ones. Everyone in the home is an animal lover and attentive. We have an expansive fenced in backyard for roaming, potty breaks, and play. That being said, even backyard play will be monitored. We also love walks. I have been in your shoes before - seeking a pet sitter for an upcoming trip and hoping to find someone who will care for my dog to a degree that will bring me peace of mind while we're away. I get it. I'm that person for you.
About: I’ve always grown up around dogs and I truly believe there is no such thing as a “bad dog”. Just a pup who needs some extra love and attention. I currently work full time (8-4:45) with every 3rd friday off. I work remotely 1-2 times a week. I have most evenings and weekends free! To me, its important to make sure the pup remains on the same schedule as if they were being taken care of by their owner as much as possible.
About: I have owned my own pets for over 25 years. I also did pet sitting occasionally for some friends, family and others in the community. I have lived in small towns and on an acreage so am okay with travelling outside the city as well. Even though it is not on the services list, I am good with feeding chickens and collecting eggs as well. Mileage fees will be applied for all out of city bookings. I work full time in Health care, but only 3 days a week. So I have lots of full days where I am available all day to care for other pets and walk dogs. My pets are treated as if they are part of the family (because they are). I do not use physical punishment for any reason - if any situations arise, the pets will be removed from the situation to protect all involved.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
