About: I've always loved animals. I have a psych degree, and learning about positive re-enforcement and and training pets to do tricks is my favourite thing. I'm self employed so my schedule is flexible. I am also nomadic, so I'm happy to travel to a new place to care for a pet, and be somewhere new I take time to get to know each animal, their wants and needs, and most importantly, their personalities. My goal is to make any separation from their persons as easy as possible
“Tori did a wonderful job filling in for our regular dog-walker. Her communication was excellent, she was reliable, and by all indications Peco loved walking with her. Thank you Tori!”

About: Hi, name is Michelle! I have a passion for animals of all types! I was in the pet industry for over 4 years caring for many different types of reptiles, all small animals, birds, fish, cats, dogs, you name it! I love every critter out there and treat each one likes it’s my own. If you need someone to look after your pet, take it for a walk or even just check in while you’re away or at work I’m your girl! I also have a lot of experience with administering medication and watching pets with special care. I’m reliable for you and patient with your pets. Im excited to cuddle them, love them and take care of them for you. A house is not a home without a pet🤍 I work in real estate with my husband so my schedule is very flexible and I do most of my job from my computer so I have ample time to spend with your furry friends. Although I had to technically select that I live in an apartment I actually live on the main level of a warehouse condo with private access, a yard and a garage!

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. As the owner of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Shih Tzu mix, I have experience caring for dogs of very different sizes, personalities, and needs. I am patient, reliable, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, maintaining routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while ensuring their pets receive loving and responsible care. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide frequent attention, supervision, potty breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s regular schedule and will do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and secure while you are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including large breeds and rescue animals. My home provides a calm and pet-friendly environment, and I always supervise interactions carefully. I follow each pet owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and understand how important it is to earn a pet’s trust and make them feel at home. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I provide regular updates, photos, and communication for peace of mind.

“We cannot recommend Dylan and Carmela highly enough! They have been absolutely fantastic on numerous occasions with our three senior dogs, who each have their own quirks and needs. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Dylan and Carmela both have a genuine love for animals and calm, caring demeanors that immediately put both us and our dogs at ease. Our senior pups require extra patience and care, including following specific routines, and Dylan and Carmela handled everything flawlessly. They provided regular updates with photos and messages, which reassured us that our fur babies were happy, healthy, and well cared for. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pets like their own, but Dylan and Carmela truly go above and beyond. We came home to three very content dogs and could tell they had been in the best hands. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and attentive sitter for your pets, look no further. Thank you Dylan and Carmela, for your exceptional care!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Regina choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
