Hi there – It’s a pleasure to e-meet you and your pup! I’m Mattea (MA-tay-AH), a full-time communications manager by day, and in my spare time I dive into the things I’m passionate about: cooking, crafting, staying active, enjoying a good craft beer, and volunteering with the amazing dogs and cats at the Regina Humane Society. As a seasoned volunteer with over 30 hours under my belt, I work with dogs who need a little extra love and attention, including off-site walks and one-on-one care. I have a huge soft spot for our furry friends and would be honoured to earn your trust with yours. I was lucky to grow up in a pet-loving home where animals were truly part of the family. As someone who can’t have a dog of her own right now, I rely on awesome pet parents like you to get my good boy/girl time in! I promise your pup will be in caring hands, and I can’t wait to get to know them – quirks and all.

Thanks to my training at the Regina Humane Society, I’ve learned to read dog body language and understand what they need in the moment. I have a fully fenced yard with lots of space for your pup to play, explore, and take care of business! As a communicator (literally – it's my day job!), I really value the bond you have with your pet. I’ll keep you in the loop with regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how they’re doing. There are no other pets in my home, so your furry family member will have my full attention and care.

Schedule
I work full-time Monday to Friday and stay active during my lunch breaks and in the evenings – weekdays are always full of movement! I’m an avid walker and runner, and I box three times a week. I’d love to have your pup join me – whether it’s for a walk, some exercise, or even doggy day care on Fridays when I am WFH.
