I have a three-year-old golden retriever of my own and truly enjoy spending time with dogs, getting to know their unique personalities, and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, which is why I want every owner to feel confident that their pup is in good hands, whether it’s for a walk, a quick visit, or an extended stay. As a registered nurse, I bring the same attentiveness, patience, and sense of responsibility to caring for animals that I do to my professional work. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care, while giving you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is receiving the love and attention they deserve! Caring for dogs is already a big part of our daily routine! I work part-time as a registered nurse, and when I'm not at work, I love spending time with our golden retriever, whether we're enjoying hikes and walks, playing outside, or relaxing at home. My husband works from home, so someone is available throughout the day to provide regular bathroom breaks, companionship, and plenty of attention to our boarding guests. We're available for boarding seven days a week and are happy to accommodate both short visits and extended stays. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits, with availability around my work schedule. I aim to maintain each dog's usual feeding, exercise, and sleeping routines, ensuring they receive consistent, personalized care whether they're staying in our home or I'm visiting them in theirs. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities! We live in a welcoming home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy supervised, off-leash playtime and regular bathroom breaks. We share our home with our three-year-old, neutered male golden retriever, who enjoys playing and socializing with other dogs. Before accepting a new boarding guest, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable and gets along well. Visiting dogs are treated like part of the family and are welcome on our furniture and beds. They're free to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, and we have the ability to provide separate spaces when needed. To help keep everyone safe and happy, I follow each owner's care instructions, supervise interactions between dogs, and provide separate feeding areas. When providing dog walking or drop-in visits, I take the same thoughtful approach to caring for your pup. I follow your instructions, respect your home, and ensure your dog receives the attention and care they're accustomed to in their own environment. Whether your dog is staying with us or I'm caring for them in their own home, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind knowing they're in good hands!

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. They aren't just pets though, they are part of the family! We currently have a 2 year old black lab/boxer. I always want the best for my dog and I know you do too! I am currently retired and home all day every day! Your dogs will never be alone. In fact, I love taking them for walks through the forest and playing with them in the backyard! My dog has the run of the house and is allowed everywhere in the house and the backyard is entirely fenced in. They are allowed to go in and out on their own as much as they want to!

“Our dogs had a wonderful stay with Donna and her family! Both Gus and Winnie are senior dogs (14 and 13) who have been going to the same kennel for 10 years. When our kennel had to cancel last minute we were at a loss as we had a 3 week trip coming up -over the Easter holiday - and no one to watch the dogs. This was our first Rover experience and I’m so glad it worked out! Gus and Winnie have never stayed with anyone else so we were really nervous. Donna was so great at making both dogs comfortable and communicating with us while we were away. Gus had some issues early on (we think due to stress) and Donna went out of her way to adjust her schedule and his surroundings so that he was comfortable. Winnie is your typical snuggly Pug and I could tell she was right at home by the photos sent of her snuggling on the couch and hanging out with Donna’s children. Would definitely recommend Donna - thank you!”

About: I had a giant schnauzer. For over 2.5 years he required hourly attention and care for many health issues. My experience has provided me with the knowledge and patience to care for pets of all size and with any mobility limitations. My home is set up with many beds, a large crate, and a fully fenced in backyard to care for your pet, 24/7 I am an entrepreneur with a very flexible schedule where I mostly work from home. I am able to attend to your pets needs all day and night. I treat pets like family! I respect the rules and boundaries set by each pet owner and work hard to ensure that discipline, play time, and routines are not altered!
