We share our home with our three-year-old, neutered male golden retriever, who enjoys playing and socializing with other dogs. Before accepting a new boarding guest, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable and gets along well. Visiting dogs are treated like part of the family and are welcome on our furniture and beds. They're free to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, and we have the ability to provide separate spaces when needed. To help keep everyone safe and happy, I follow each owner's care instructions, supervise interactions between dogs, and provide separate feeding areas. When providing dog walking or drop-in visits, I take the same thoughtful approach to caring for your dog. I follow your instructions, respect your home, and ensure your dog receives the attention and care they're accustomed to in their own environment. About: Besides having pets my whole life I would say that my special skills include setting up cages, giving accurate dosages of medication and providing long walks and play times. Crate trained or not, I have been with all ages and types/sizes of dogs. Pet care sits my schedule because and a person of routine I enjoy getting to come home to someone. Walks, exercise, and giving entertainment are all these daily I try and accomplish. My home is large, each of the 3 levels have enough enough room to feel spacious. The yard front and back are both large. We have a pool that is swim friendly as-well and a caged in area for any off leash fun. Pets are welcome on the furniture just because that’s always how I had it when I grew up. I mean they are part of the family of course they can come chill and watch a movie. We are also near a park and lake and live In an avenue so almost no traffic.

About: Both Em and Jac have had dogs their entire lives. Dogs ranging from 5lbs to 100+lbs, and puppy all the way to 16 years old senior dog. Jac has experience training dogs, from basic commands and potty training all the way to reactivity and high prey drive. Em has experience with dogs with separation anxiety, as well she has volunteered with the SPCA shelter. Both Em and Jac have a medical background so dogs with special care needs like medications through injections are not a problem! Jac has also lived and worked on horse farms, helping with grooming, birthing, etc, so a lot of experience around animals! We both work shift work, however we are currently offset. Most days one of us will be home majority of the day, and a few days a month which we overlap night shifts where the dog would be left home alone for 6+hrs (from 4:45pm-1am). These days where we’re both on nights can be discussed beforehand to work something out if your dog requires to be let out more frequently. We have a 50acre property, with a 600m long driveway fenced at the bottom. Private walking trails through the back. A custom built agility course if that’s what your furry friend is into, and we’re constantly adding new obstacles to. There’s a pond if your dog is a swimmer, but plenty of dry ground if they aren’t. We have a room in the house that we keep the dogs in that’s nice and quiet for them, alternatively we have a barn (no livestock, just a rec space) that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter with kennels set up in.

About: After losing our 13 year old dog, my children and I started fostering for a local rescue group 4 years ago. During this time, I have taken care of numerous dogs of different breeds and prepared them for their new families. I babysit for our friends and family on a regular basis. I work full-time, but my office is 5 mins from my home so can do lunchtime visits, so older housetrained pets are best. Weekends are more flexible and can watch younger pets at these times. I have a large fenced yard and (2) older dog-savy children. I live in a quiet community and can easily go for walks with the dogs. I can take crate trained or housetrained pets and am flexible with allowing them on furniture or not.

These days where we’re both on nights can be discussed beforehand to work something out if your dog requires to be let out more frequently. We have a 50acre property, with a 600m long driveway fenced at the bottom. Private walking trails through the back. A custom built agility course if that’s what your furry friend is into, and we’re constantly adding new obstacles to. There’s a pond if your dog is a swimmer, but plenty of dry ground if they aren’t. We have a room in the house that we keep the dogs in that’s nice and quiet for them, alternatively we have a barn (no livestock, just a rec space) that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter with kennels set up in.

He simply thought of everything, and was so patient and reassuring when I had a load of questions and concerns. Freddie is a cool companion! We left Bruno for the whole weekend, and I was astounded at how confided felt that he was just fine. Graham sent periodic photos, and I could tell on Bruno’s face that he was comfortable. (You know how you can see the stress in their eyebrows - he was simply smiling the whole time!) Upon pick up, Bruno was relaxed and balanced. He even swung back around to seemingly say thanks and goodbye to Graham before hopping into the car! We’re very grateful to Graham’s above and beyond care, and wish he were closer. We’ll definitely be seeking his service when we visit the Lindsay area next!”
