About: My name is Mary, I am a devoted dog mom who shares a deep and loving bond with my two dogs, Marlow and Lenni. My commitment to their well-being is evident in the care and attention I give them every day. Marlow and Lenni are not just my girls but they are cherished members of my family. I have experience with puppies, dogs and cats. We are a loving house hold and work daily with our girls to make sure all her needs are met. We go for walks daily and love going on trail walks in the warmer months. If your pets are boarded with us we will make sure they get the best care and lots of snuggles in too! About: I have had dogs nearly my entire life and love their individual personalities and quirks. I have experience pilling animals, and can help trim nails/bathe pets as needed. I am available 24/7, 365, as long as I have proper notice. I know emergencies can happen and because I make my own work schedule, I can be available when you need. I have a one bedroom apartment, so would be best suited for cat sitting, small - medium sized dogs that would enjoy a residential neighborhood or small park walks. In your environment, I'm happy to follow any specific rules or needs you may have for home or pet care! There is no request too strange to ensure the safety and comfort for you and your animals!

About: I grew up with Moose, our family's Shar-Pei. The breed tends to be wary of strangers, and watching Moose slowly warm up to visitors taught me to let a new dog come to me when they're ready. I've also walked dogs for neighbours and friends, and I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. On walks, my phone stays in my pocket unless I'm taking photos for your update. That way, I spot a dropped chicken bone before your dog does. If your dog tenses up at an oncoming dog, a skateboard, or a goose, I cross the street or head the other way before it turns into barking or lunging. I also adjust each walk to your dog, whether they need a slow stroll with lots of sniffing or a brisk pace to burn off energy. I'll stick to your rules too: the commands you use, how many treats are allowed, and whether the couch is off-limits. I'm on a lighter course load this term, so apart from a few classes, I'm available 7 days a week, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. That means I can walk your dog at the same time every weekday while you're at work, so they know what to expect. I'm also around for last-minute walks when you're running late, and I can usually do a meet & greet within a day or two of hearing from you. I keep my Rover calendar up to date, so if it shows me as available, I am. If my class schedule changes next term, I'll give you plenty of notice. At our meet & greet, I'll learn your dog's routine, how they are with other dogs, what spooks them, and who to call in an emergency, including your vet. On walks, I make sure your dog can't back out of their collar or harness, keep them leashed the whole time, and always pick up after them. They only greet other dogs if you're fine with it and the other dog's owner agrees. On hot days, I test the pavement with the back of my hand to make sure it's safe for paws, bring water, and keep walks short and shaded. When it's bitterly cold or icy, I shorten walks and stick to cleared paths. In your home, I block the doorway when I come and go so your dog can't dart out, and I never bring anyone else inside. On drop-ins and house sits, I keep meals, walks, and bedtime on your dog's usual schedule. When I'm staying over, I never leave them alone longer than we've agreed. Before I leave, I wipe mud or road salt off their paws, refill the water bowl, latch any gates, and lock up. After every visit, you'll get photos and a quick update, including bathroom breaks. If anything seems off, like limping or an upset stomach, I'll let you know right away.
