“Brandon was an amazing friend for Buddy while we were away. It was great having Buddy cared for in his own home and he enjoyed spending time with Brandon in familiar surroundings. I highly recommend Brandon to anyone looking for loving care for their fur baby 😊”

“Juliet was wonderful! Her communication was excellent, with regular updates that really helped put me at ease while I was away. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend!”

“Heather is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable as a sitter with all animals! She is very easy to talk to and we as a family adore her! Her timing is impeccable and Heather is very good for confirming things and sending pictures and updates. We fully intend to keep using her services in the future!”

“Thank you Ethan, from the first time I reached out, you replied back within 15 minutes and right away assured me that you were able to take care of Rosie. We met prior to the date and you were professional, caring and right away made Rosie feel comfortable. You sent me pictures and updates on her stay with you and were very attentive to replying to me if I checked in. Thank you again Ethan and Rosie will be back for sure!”

“Sonya is great with communication and replies quickly, showed up early and stayed in touch multiple times throughout the day sending pictures of our boys. We'll definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Walter was kind enough to accept a lasting team booking for my 22 month old Great Dane and senior Beagle. I was super nervous leaving a 140lbs puppy for a few nights, but after meeting Walter for the first time and seeing his calm, gentle demeanor with my boys; I was instantly at comfort! It was noticeable he has a lot of experience with giant size, active dogs. Each day I received multiple pictures of Walter and my boys on walks, sniffing around, having treats, and snuggling. It definitely felt good knowing they were having as much fun as me when I was away! Walter not only took meticulous care of my boys, he also kept my place perfectly clean. He even walked them again right before I came home, which bought me some extra time to relax with them when I got back. Thank you Walter! We certainly hope you will consider us again in the future!”

“Lisa is absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my pup Henry and treated him like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in loving and capable hands. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants the best for their fur babies!”

“Aaron did a great job taking care of our 2 giant fur babies, our home and our plants! He provided updates and pictures and I felt secure that everything was well taken care of while we were away for 5 days. We came home to happy dogs, a clean house and peace of mind! I would happily hire him again next time we go away.”

About: Hi! I'm Taya, a 37-year-old lifelong dog owner offering dog walking, pet sitting, and in-home pet care in KW and the surrounding area. I've spent my life raising large breeds, and the dogs that have shaped me most weren't the easy ones. I know from personal experience the anxiety that comes with finding a trusted person to take care of and understand the needs of a strong and reactive dog. My Cane Corso (147 lbs) was reactive — dogs, bicycles, scooters, you name it — and together we developed what I call defensive walking: staying proactive, reading the environment ahead, and keeping situations calm before they escalate. I know how to manage powerful dogs on a leash and how to advocate for reactive dogs in the real world. My Rottweiler had seizures, which means I'm also experienced in recognizing and responding to seizure episodes and comfortable administering medication on a schedule or in an emergency. I don't panic — I've been there. What I offer: Dog walking (including reactive and large breed dogs) Pet sitting at your home Medication administration if required I'm a responsible, experienced dog person who understands that your dog isn't just a pet. I am currently unemployed by choice. I have spent a few years in Australia and recently returned to Canada. I have all the time to dedicate towards pet care. I have a fully fenced yard with my home, with no other animals here. At your home, I will follow your rules. Pats and cuddles on the couch if it's allowed; if not, we will sit on the floor and cuddle.
“Cassidy was so much help! She did such a good job taking care of my babies. She gave lots of updates and super cute pictures! I would definitely book again! Very recommended!”

“I can't thank you enough for watching our little pet family. I was a very nervous first time Rover pet parent but you put my mind at ease right from the meet and greet. I appreciated the updates throughout the stay and can't recommend you enough. Thank you Yoda!”

“Starting with our initial meet and greet Caroline was warm and caring with our cat and dog, we could see she would treat them like her own. Her communication and updates were timely and thoughtful with plenty of photos. We really appreciated Caroline caring for our home as well, with watering plants, taking garbage to the curb and even cleaning up the green bin after a misfortunate attack by raccoons. We would gladly recommend and use Caroline’s services again.”

“Grace was very responsive and communicative during her time watching our cats. She sent us tons of pictures and gave us updates. The cats looked very happy to be with her! We would book her again!! Thanks grace.”

“My last sitter left Copper in the middle of the night because they felt Copper was being difficult. I contacted Moody while I was in US, and his prompt reply saved my entire trip. He took Copper for multiple walks, and was really good in communication. Thank you Moody!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits, and being around animals has always felt natural to me. While I’ve had experience with many different pets, dogs and cats truly have my heart. I’ve had dogs in the past and absolutely loved the companionship, routine, and joy they bring. Right now, I don’t have a dog because I have a cat at home, which makes me even more excited to care for other people’s dogs and give them the love, attention, and time they deserve. I genuinely miss having a dog around, so taking care of someone else’s feels like such a joy rather than a task. As a current cat parent, I deeply understand how important routine, patience, and trust are. I know how to read body language, respect boundaries, and move at a pet’s pace. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs playtime and walks or a calm cat who just wants quiet company, I adjust my care to each animal’s personality. What sets me apart from other sitters is how personally I take my role. I don’t see pet sitting as just feeding and walking. I see it as building trust and making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m gentle, attentive, and very observant, especially with shy pets, senior pets, or animals who need extra reassurance. I may not be a professional trainer, but I’m very patient and consistent, which helps with puppies learning routines and senior pets who need calm, gentle care. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own, and I care just as much about their emotional comfort as their physical needs. Your pet’s happiness and safety always come first with me, and I would be honored to be someone you trust with a member of your family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I already structure my days around caring for my own cat, so feeding times, playtime, cleaning, and check-ins are things I’m used to and consistent with. Adding pet sitting into my routine feels easy and intentional rather than rushed. I’m someone who plans ahead and values routine, which helps pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins are done on time, and I’m always mindful of each pet’s specific needs and energy levels. I enjoy spending quality time with animals, so caring for them never feels like a chore. Because I genuinely enjoy being around pets, I’m happy to build my schedule around them and give them the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free for them. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, respect the space, and make sure pets stay in their usual environment whenever possible. I keep doors and windows secure, ensure food and water areas are clean, and make sure pets are always supervised appropriately. I pay close attention to behavior changes and will always communicate updates or concerns right away. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and safe space. I make sure the environment is pet friendly, free of hazards, and suited to their comfort level. Because I have a cat, I am very mindful of slow introductions and only accept pets that are a good fit to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I believe trust is built through consistency, clear communication, and genuine care. I treat every pet and home with the same respect I would want for my own, making sure pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for at all times.
About: I’ve been around pets most of my life. All of my kids are grown and have pets that come for overnights. I’ve helped my neighbour when she dog sits for her sister. I have a foster dog staying with me that is healthy and fully vetted. I don’t have a pet of my own. Please feel free to reach out for availability as I work in Waterloo Tues and Wed and could do drop ins or walks on those days. I have some flexibility in my schedule and might be able to accommodate outside of what’s been indicated. I’m working FT but I’m only in the office Tues,Wed and work from home Mon, Thurs and Friday. I leave home at 8am and return about 5:30. I don’t have a fenced yard so your pet will be tied in my yard for quick bio breaks but we will take lots of walks. If I’m staying at your home, same thing. Of course, if there is already a routine in place, that will be followed the best that I can
