About: I've never had a time in my life when there was not a pet in my home. From a young age I was taking care of my family pet as well as neighbors when they went away. All of my personal pets have been adopted and have been family to me. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life through my family for thirty-three years and cats for twenty-five. Two years ago I adopted my first dog and greatest friend in life, a Golden Retriever named Chewie! Twelve years ago I initially fostered but later adopted two Bombay cats I named Luke and Leia. Luke passed away in 2020 but Leia is still as young as ever at twelve years old! I’m currently looking to make a career change from human services into animal care and seek further knowledge of animals to further my passion for animals! About: Recently I spent five months pet sitting in BC. I thoroughy enjoyed spending time with various dogs in their homes. I found that the dogs felt comfortable and at ease in their own homes while their owners knew their pets were well taken care of.
