About: Over 30 years of dog ownership and care. I am a retired Pharmacy Technician so I have lots of experience with medications and administration. Large property for exercise. Indoor area for playtime. We’ll treat your furry friend like we do our own, showering them with love, cuddles, and treats while following your dog’s specific diet requirements. I’m a retired pharmacy technician, so I’m very familiar with medications and administration. My husband works nights, so there’s always someone here to have naps with. We have over 10 acres of land, including about 8 acres of bush with walking paths. There’s a fully fenced dog run attached to the house for bathroom breaks. We have a large room dedicated to indoor play and rest, and a large, cleared outdoor area for playing fetch and water activities when the weather is nice. There’s plenty of shade for relaxing on hot days. We’ve always dreamed of running a boarding kennel or daycare. As dog owners for over 30 years, we’ve mostly had more than one dog at a time. Years ago, we even had a litter of eight Labs! Currently, we have three dogs: Jenny, a retriever mix female we helped rehome when she was 10 months old; Oscar, our 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog; and Maverick, our 4-year-old Red Retriever. We also have our grand puppy, Cooper, a 4-year-old Basset Hound, who lives in an attached apartment with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Cooper is with us when his parents work. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. We’re non-smokers and have elderly parents, one in a wheelchair, living with us. We also have a new baby in an attached apartment.

“Susie took wonderful care of our cat, Jimmi, while we were on vacation. Normally, Jimmi is nervous around new people, but took to Susie very quickly, almost immediately. Jimmi becomes anxious especially when we are away. This can cause him to become ill and need medication. Susie is very knowledgable about diet and giving medication, which put our minds at ease. She looked after Jimmi just the way we do. She sent us updates and photos throughout our trip. When we returned home, Jimmi was healthy and happy. About: One thing about me is that I am a veterinary technician, with that I have been caring for animals for over 5 years and with 17years of experience with my own pets. I do work at a dog boarding facility, caring for animals from morning to night. I have vast knowledge from puppies to seniors. I’m currently working part time, however Mondays and Thursdays are my off days. I can however come and check on your pups from 12:30-2:00pm and 7-8pm Monday to Thursday . If required and upon request more frequent visits can be done. If the pet is to stay with me I do live out in the country no fence however the pet will never be outside unsupervised. Either on a leash or on a 40’ leash. Crated in the house if needed. At a clients home, the pet will be supervised outside weather fenced in yard or not. Crated when I leave if required.

About: I have taken care of dogs & cats my entire life. You can’t have a farm without farm dogs or barn cats! I’ve trained puppies and have raised a litter. Also taken my own Saint Bernard to trick training classes. That’s not often a sight to see. 😊 I’ve shown horses, fed & watered. Brushed & braided prior to horse shows. Turned them out & let them in. Covered feedings for cows, sheep, goats, mink, weasels, rabbits, fish, birds, chickens & ducks. I am currently home, so I have time to stop around (pre-scheduled) and give lots of cuddles & take them out for a pee break. I have the flexibility to step away and drive to your house for letting dogs out for a run in a fenced yard, or a walk on leash, or just for a pee break and have them eat their lunch or supper. Or cuddle the kitty and give lunchtime or supper time medications. Since my house is busy with two large breed dogs, I would travel to your house for walks and feedings or medications. Some dogs and most cats prefer to stay at home where they are comfortable and less stressed. With little transition other than the meeting someone new.

I have adopted multiple rescue dogs since moving to including a Senior dog with vision and hearing loss who was not house trained, therefore needing a proactive approach to potty time. Indoor area for playtime. We’ll treat your furry friend like we do our own, showering them with love, cuddles, and treats while following your dog’s specific diet requirements. We have over 10 acres of land, including about 8 acres of bush with walking paths. There’s a fully fenced dog run attached to the house for bathroom breaks. We have a large room dedicated to indoor play and rest, and a large, cleared outdoor area for playing fetch and water activities when the weather is nice. There’s plenty of shade for relaxing on hot days. We’ve always dreamed of running a boarding kennel or daycare. As dog owners for over 30 years, we’ve mostly had more than one dog at a time. Years ago, we even had a litter of eight Labs! Currently, we have three dogs: Jenny, a retriever mix female we helped rehome when she was 10 months old; Oscar, our 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog; and Maverick, our 4-year-old Red Retriever. We also have our grand puppy, Cooper, a 4-year-old Basset Hound, who lives in an attached apartment with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Cooper is with us when his parents work. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. We’re non-smokers and have elderly parents, one in a wheelchair, living with us. We also have a new baby in an attached apartment.

Rest assured, your dog will come back home tired after a long day of play 😌 I currently do not have a fenced yard but I’m always extremely careful and leash our dog for pee breaks/potty breaks when I take them to the yard. I have never had any incidents of dogs getting away because that’s how cautious I am. So safety is always my priority.
