About: Over 30 years of dog ownership and care. I am a retired Pharmacy Technician so I have lots of experience with medications and administration. Large property for exercise. Indoor area for playtime. We’ll treat your furry friend like we do our own, showering them with love, cuddles, and treats while following your dog’s specific diet requirements. I’m a retired pharmacy technician, so I’m very familiar with medications and administration. My husband works nights, so there’s always someone here to have naps with. We have over 10 acres of land, including about 8 acres of bush with walking paths. There’s a fully fenced dog run attached to the house for bathroom breaks. We have a large room dedicated to indoor play and rest, and a large, cleared outdoor area for playing fetch and water activities when the weather is nice. There’s plenty of shade for relaxing on hot days. We’ve always dreamed of running a boarding kennel or daycare. As dog owners for over 30 years, we’ve mostly had more than one dog at a time. Years ago, we even had a litter of eight Labs! Currently, we have three dogs: Jenny, a retriever mix female we helped rehome when she was 10 months old; Oscar, our 8-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog; and Maverick, our 4-year-old Red Retriever. We also have our grand puppy, Cooper, a 4-year-old Basset Hound, who lives in an attached apartment with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Cooper is with us when his parents work. I do work at a dog boarding facility, caring for animals from morning to night. I have vast knowledge from puppies to seniors. I’m currently working part time, however Mondays and Thursdays are my off days. I can however come and check on your pups from 12:30-2:00pm and 7-8pm Monday to Thursday . If required and upon request more frequent visits can be done. If the pet is to stay with me I do live out in the country no fence however the pet will never be outside unsupervised. Either on a leash or on a 40’ leash. Crated in the house if needed. At a clients home, the pet will be supervised outside weather fenced in yard or not. Crated when I leave if required.

Also taken my own Saint Bernard to trick training classes. That’s not often a sight to see. 😊 I’ve shown horses, fed & watered. Brushed & braided prior to horse shows. Turned them out & let them in. Covered feedings for cows, sheep, goats, mink, weasels, rabbits, fish, birds, chickens & ducks. I am currently home, so I have time to stop around (pre-scheduled) and give lots of cuddles & take them out for a pee break. I have the flexibility to step away and drive to your house for letting dogs out for a run in a fenced yard, or a walk on leash, or just for a pee break and have them eat their lunch or supper. Or cuddle the kitty and give lunchtime or supper time medications. Since my house is busy with two large breed dogs, I would travel to your house for walks and feedings or medications. Some dogs and most cats prefer to stay at home where they are comfortable and less stressed. With little transition other than the meeting someone new.
