About: My name is Meghan, I am passionate about animal welfare and taking care of your furry friends! Whether it’s a playful pup or a sassy/cuddly cat, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am the proud owner of two amazing feline friends (Sophie & Leeloo), and a wonderful goofball of a Collie mix (Brandy). I completed my certification for Veterinary Assistant and Animal Grooming at Northern College in 2024, my training focused heavily on compassionate and fear free handling, the recognition of animal body language and behaviours, medicine and administration, and animal anatomy, physiology and nourishment. I recently left my full time position as a Veterinary Receptionist for the past year to pursue a career in pet grooming, and am currently employed as a part time Dog Groomer. About: I’m a student with a very flexible schedule and I’ve been walking dogs since I was 12 years old! I also have experience caring for animals at a wildlife rehabilitation centre! As a student, my schedule varies day to day. Mondays and Tuesday I’m available all day except for 4pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays I’m available in the morning and the evening, and Fridays I’m available in the mornings-noon. Weekends, I’m out of town. Dog walking, house sitting, and drop ins are a great fit for me! Ensuring my pets have access to everything they need comes first. Water always has to be available, and they should never have to wait to be let out to potty. I love going for walks, playing fetch, and in general being playful with animals. About: I love all animals and practice a dedicated vegan lifestyle for the past 11 years. I have owned two dogs, one cat, two rabbits in my lifetime. Currently, in my home I have one free roaming bunny that doesn't mind sharing the home with another furry friend. I enjoy being outdoors and being active, so your pet will be well exercised if they like that. I work from home and can be with your pet all day. I also love cats and your cat will have sunny spots to lounge in the home. If needed, I can crate your pup if I step out, or at bedtime if that's the routine they follow I have a fenced yard for dogs that love to play outdoors, and when they need to go potty. I will pick up their business when outdoors whether in the bush or on a trail walk. I have a multi-level home with stairs and if your pup doesn't like stairs I can carry them to the level I am on, so they always feel like they are part of the action. they will still be a part of the livelihood of my home. My home is well kept with no dangerous chemicals, and is a meat-free home as well (so no raw meat for dinner please).
About: Hello! Chelseys the name, being a dog mom is my game! I am a 27yo loving dog mom to two high energy but very well trained and obedient springer spaniels - they are very socialized with other dogs and we do at least 2-4 hours of trail walks and runs per day - and on really bad weather days we do some interactive training! Looking to spend a little extra time outdoors this winter and help fellow dog owners out on long days when I can be available, which as of right now my schedule is very open! I often overnight watch many of my friends dogs, sometimes 4 at a time for long periods of time, often for daycare with me and the boys while they are working long weeks. If you hire me to take care of your pooch I can promise you they will be active all day and very well taken care of - me and the dogs spend alot of the day outside on the trails or venturing around to find new fenced in spots to let them run! *Note also that both my dogs are crate trained - so I do not necessarily require that yours be as well!
