About: I have 6 years of pet care experience. I started when I moved up for university and began watching people's pets for extra cash for classes and found that I really enjoyed working with animals (and their owners too!). I've mostly worked with dogs and cats but I'm open to learning and working with other types of animals too! I'm currently working on a part-time basis, so I have plenty of availability to work around your schedule. I have access to a vehicle so I can come to you and be available at any time of day. I have a fenced-in yard with a high gate and access to different trails and parks in close proximity to my home. I am more than willing to care for pets where they are most comfortable, including at your home and take them for walks to familiar places for them.
âMaxine is super nice and easy to get along with. She's great with my Newfoundland dog. You can tell she cares and even offered to brush him while they hung out. She also doesn't take long to answer any texts. We're both very happy with the service.â

About: Growing up, I always had dogs I was in charge of taking care of. At the peak of my experience, I was in charge of four dogs, simultaneously, where I groomed them, walked them, fed them, and insured their health/safety. Additionally, I have looked after the dogs of friends and family, as well as as grooming. Both dogs and cats have always been a big part of my life, and because I am no longer able to have pets after moving, I believe this would be an exceptional opportunity for me to spend some time doing something I love; helping animals. I am currently working part-time, while taking courses online, so I have a very flexible schedule to help the care for your pets. Later or earlier hours are better for me to ensure I am available every day, but I am usually available on weekdays around noon as well. How I care for your pets will greatly depend on both your needs, as well as your pets needs. My top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of the animal, so although my practice is very case specific, I can ensure every decision I make will be in reflection to your petâs safety.
About: Iâve been walking dogs since I was 12 years old. During my 8 years of pet care experience, I have walked small dogs to dogs that are 100+ lbs, I have cared for low energy, and high-energy animals and have been trusted with caring for animals while owners are away. I also have experience caring for animals at a wildlife rehabilitation centre! I am working full-time Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm. I can work around it in the mornings and evenings. Dog walking, house sitting, and drop ins are a great fit for me! Ensuring my pets have access to everything they need comes first. Water always has to be available, and they should never have to wait to be let out to potty. I love going for walks, playing fetch, and in general being playful with animals. Iâve always been extremely confident and at ease with pets and they are a big part of my every day life.
âAshlyne was prompt and efficient while getting the old boy Buddy outside to use the bathroom. Loved the pics she would send everyday! Will definitely book again to walk our younger dog!â

âPatrick took amazing care of my senior dog that is struggling with mobility. He had the perfect touch for his strange quirks and was very responsive and accommodating. Donât hesitate to book with Patrick!â

âMichelle did a great job caring for our cats & fish while we were on vacation. I received pictures & video updates, setting our minds at ease. All food, water, and litter boxes were taken care of as requested. We came home to happy pets and would definitely book with her again! đâ

About: I have been trusted to care for many of my friends/ families pets. I have three dogs, two cats and a rabbit at home, but Iâm away for school right now. Iâm missing them so I am hoping to be able to meet new pets while Iâm away! I have 3 high energy dog breeds and have dealt with any situation you can think of. I am reliable and trustworthy, and will give your fur baby the best care possible! Iâm currently in teachers college and am available most days out of the week! I have classes Monday -Thursday and I am home every evening. I have a bunch of walking trails right across from my house, with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play. I can crate your dog if needed and only am out of the house at maximum six hours a day, so your pet will be in great hands!
About: What sets me apart is my passion for animal care, backed by my Master's degree in Zoology. With extensive knowledge of animal behavior and biology, I provide top-notch care for pets of all ages and needs. Specializing in puppy training, I help shape young minds and behaviors. I'm also experienced in caring for senior pets, understanding their unique requirements and needs. Additionally, I'm comfortable administering medications, ensuring your pet receives the best possible care. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and loving, I'm dedicated to giving your furry friends the attention and care they deserve. I'm happy to care for a wide range of pets, including reptiles, snakes, birds, and exotic animals, and I'm comfortable with unique or specialty pets, willing to learn about their specific needs. As a recent graduate from Nipissing University, I'm excited to start my career and find a fulfilling full-time role that aligns with my passion for working with dogs. Flexible and enthusiastic, I'm available for various shifts, whether morning, evening, or beyond, and I'm eager to dedicate time to providing exceptional care and companionship to canine friends Both works for me because, as my pervious experience i have taken care for pets on client's house. However, anything works for me just gimme a heads up
âVery happy with the service! The fact that Kane comes out of his kennel for Ruth is amazing! I have a dog that is very selective with who he will come out of his kennel for.â

About: I am empathetic and animals are naturally drawn to me. I have always lived with dogs. I also had 2 guinea pigs that lived up to 6 & 8 years old. I've worked in dog kennels, am able to administer medications, bandages and special diets. Comfortable with crate training. I've trained puppies and can assist with senior care. I currently work as a electronic document management specialist. My schedule is flexible. Pet care is exactly what I need for a mental break during my daily and weekly routine. I am respectful of your home and belongings. I will follow your guidelines on how you would like me to care for your fur babies. :)
âShe is just the SWEETEST! Our babies got so comfortable with her. Yoshi is usually very shy and anxious but he looked comfortable with her. Absolutely loved how she cleaned everything! She is going to be our go to person from now on!â

About: I love all animals and practice a dedicated vegan lifestyle for the past 11 years. I have owned three dogs, one cat, four rabbits in my lifetime. Currently, in my home I have three caged free bunnies that don't mind sharing the home with another furry friend. I enjoy being outdoors and being active, so your pet will be well exercised if they like that. I work from home and can be with your pet all day. I also love cats and your cat will have sunny spots to lounge in the home. I will only board one animal at a time, so there will be no sharing of attention or spaces with other animals (except our bunnies). I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon! I work from home five days a week. If needed, I can crate your pup if I step out, or at bedtime if that's the routine they follow I have a fenced yard for dogs that love to play outdoors, and when they need to go potty. I will pick up their business when outdoors whether in the bush or on a trail walk. I have a multi-level home with stairs and if your pup doesn't like stairs I can carry them to the level I am on, so they always feel like they are part of the action. they will still be a part of the livelihood of my home. My home is well kept with no dangerous chemicals, and is a meat-free home as well (so no raw meat for dinner please).
About: Hello! Chelseys the name, being a dog mom is my game! I am a 27yo loving dog mom to two high energy but very well trained and obedient springer spaniels - they are very socialized with other dogs and we do at least 2-4 hours of trail walks and runs per day - and on really bad weather days we do some interactive training! Looking to spend a little extra time outdoors this winter and help fellow dog owners out on long days when I can be available, which as of right now my schedule is very open! I often overnight watch many of my friends dogs, sometimes 4 at a time for long periods of time, often for daycare with me and the boys while they are working long weeks. If you hire me to take care of your pooch I can promise you they will be active all day and very well taken care of - me and the dogs spend alot of the day outside on the trails or venturing around to find new fenced in spots to let them run! *Note also that both my dogs are crate trained - so I do not necessarily require that yours be as well! Also don't forget, if you're hesitant because you don't understand the system, please know there is a chat preference once you attempt to book before you confirm that will allow you to communicate with me before final bookings! Additional Service included: Pet Photography, another one of my passions! When you're away and I'm caring for your pets - I will take a number of beautifully shot photos to digitally send you while you're gone. From action shots to sleepy mornings! I'll capture some key shots and give you the piece of mind in a stunning photo of your pooch! Photos are yours to keep and use as you want! (See some of my favourite shots I've taken recently on profile) Also, 2020 has forced me to raise my rates with such a demand - I can work with you if you have a budget though don't hesitate to message me.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
