My name is Meghan, I am passionate about animal welfare and taking care of your furry friends! Whether it’s a playful pup or a sassy/cuddly cat, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am the proud owner of two amazing feline friends (Sophie & Leeloo), and a wonderful goofball of a Collie mix (Brandy). I completed my certification for Veterinary Assistant and Animal Grooming at Northern College in 2024, my training focused heavily on compassionate and fear free handling, animal body language and behaviours, medicine and administration, and animal anatomy, physiology and nourishment. I have been employed in the Veterinary field and am currently employed as a part time Groomer. With years of experience caring for pets including cats, dogs, pocket pets and reptiles, I like to understand their individualized needs and quirks. I have volunteered at local shelters and have also provided care for the pets of friends and family while they were away on holiday, and I believe that every pet deserves to feel loved and cared for while their humans are away. I understand how important it is to find someone who you can trust with your beloved pets, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them and am committed to meeting your pet's unique needs. My personal and professional experiences have equipped me with skills to handle many different situations compassionately and safely. Meghan is always great with our cats. She is attentive to their needs, and lets us know how they are doing with pics and a report card. She gives suggestions, and has really helped with my one cat’s recent illness. She is highly recommended!
Meghan is very competent with our big chicken dog and he had a great time with her. Highly recommend!!
Meghan was able to accommodate our last minute trip on the day of, and did an amazing job with our 15 year old kitties, and two guinea pigs! One of our cats is slow to warm up to people, but allowed Meghan to pet him :) Would definitely have Meghan pet sit for us again.

Schedule
I am able to provide drop-in visits during the week days and weekends. I am also able to provide dog walking depending on my schedule.
