“We just got our sweet Regina a little over a week ago, and my husband and I had plans to go camping this past weekend. I went on Rover to see if anyone came up, and I found Sydney. I messaged her, asking if she would be interested in setting up a time to meet her, and we did. She came over, Regina seemed to like her, and we decided to give it a go. For the first time of leaving our cat behind, I was very happy with how Sydney handled everything. Checked in each time she came over to check on her, sent pictures, made sure she ate, cleaned the litter box, followed all the instructions I had left, everything went perfect. About: Caring for others, both people and animals, has always been an important part of my life. Compassion and caregiving are a big part of who I am. I volunteered for several years with Hospice Services in Lindsay, providing support to people with life limiting illnesses, and continue to help seniors in my community with appointments, advocacy and companionship. I’m also an animal advocate and have volunteered with the Ontario Turtle Trauma Centre, helping transport injured and rehabilitated turtles. While cats are my specialty, I’m also comfortable caring for small and medium-sized dogs. I currently share my home with my beloved pup Duke who is a high anxiety Cockapoo and our elderly cat Chica (technically she shares her home with us). I love the outdoors and enjoy trail walking and kayaking, so getting outside for a good dog walk is something I genuinely enjoy. Most importantly, I understand the trust involved in leaving a beloved pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to give each pet the patience, attention and companionship they need so you can be away knowing they are in caring and dependable hands. As of late October 2026 I plan to devote my time to pet care so I will be available 7 days a week throughout the day or evenings. Sharing my home with a high anxiety dog I know to be cautious when approaching other dogs who are out for a walk. And my sneaky cat who attempts to escape a few times each summer, has taught me to be very observant and cautious when opening doors to ensure indoor pets remain safe.

About: I unfortunately have no experience other than I’ve had my cat for over a year now and my puppy for 7 months. I love them with all my heart. I have also been around dogs since the day I was born (all different breeds and ages). I work from home for my step dads business (Kodiak Metal Buildings) so this works perfectly as I need a little more money and have so much love for animals. I have a fenced in lawn and a 11 month golden retriever pup that loves every other animal! He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

About: Hi, I’m Kaitlin (Kait(y)) some may know me from when I was on a hobby farm in Kawartha lakes, I have however moved now but am still in Cameron and on 1.5 acres. From my past farm life, I am experienced with all different animals. I have a large fenced in backyard with room to roam and explore. I have 2 dogs of my own, My older dog’s name is Bentley and he's an australian shepherd who is 8 years old and is fixed and up to date on all shots etc. Hes my bestfriend and is well natured and good with other dogs. I also have a mini Aussie puppy who’s up to date on all her shots as well, she is deaf and vision impaired, she started off as a foster and then my partner and I decided to keep her. I volunteer at the humane society in Lindsay in my spare time and bring dogs home from there for sleepovers etc and day trips/walks to let them get out and gain some experience in a home setting when I can. My dog Bentley has always gotten along with any dogs hes come across even from the humane society. I went to school for animal care years ago as well as the Paramedic program. I have experience with all different animals from being on a farm however dogs have and will always be my favourite. Ive had many dogs growing up, I cant remember a time in my life without there being a dog around. I also have taken in lots of puppies and dogs of all ages over the years from mills and fostered them and found them homes. I would keep every dog that I've come across if I could but giving them the best while I can has always been the goal. I will treat your dog like one of my own and we will have all the good times together with lots of pictures and or videos taken and shared with you 🙂. Im currently available most days and times unless already booked up. I have all the time right now for playtime, walks, hang outs and sleepovers with your dog(s). I have a fenced in backyard. I like to go into Fenelon falls for dog walks by the water and if the dogs like to swim we can do that to! Or I live on a Quiet road where we can go for walks as well. I have 2 awesome dogs who will be there to keep your dog company and be less anxious on their stay. I can work on crate training if needed and I also have a Furbo dog camera if I do have to run out ever the camera will be on to be able to monitor if ever needed. I will send lots of pictures and videos throughout the dogs stay, I can also try and work on leash skills or anything that you would like to have done with your dog etc. I have lots of experience with dogs of all types and training levels as my boyfriend is a dog trainer in the kawartha lakes.

About: Mess with my animals; you mess with me. I am a fierce animal advocate/rescuer (Team Chelsea Volunteer). I am also a pet groomer in training. Animal care & welfare is important to me. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays. My days are flexible. Currently, I have 3 of my own dogs (very friendly and playful) and one Sr. cat (Luna is a bit of a wild-child; typical of Tuxedo female cats; she stays upstairs in her safe place; either on my bed or on her cat tree). I have also made Luna a treehouse in the backyard tucked safely inside of a mulberry tree. I have a fenced yard and my home is quite frankly a safe haven for animals. I just live here. Their happiness and comfort is my priority.

About: I’ve trained and taken full care of my puppy Ollie… as well as just taken care of both of my dogs all my life… I enjoy spending much of my time with animals and always make sure they’re well taken care of. I am currently on a gap year so I am home all the time… I walk and feed my dogs everyday and spend almost all my time with them. I have an open backyard that is about 3 acres as well as a fenced in section. I am very flexible and able to do what ever you need me to do!

About: I completed my first pet sitting booking (10 days) and I was very successful! Not only were the cat and dog happy but the owner came home right after a major snowstorm to mostly shovelled driveway. My clients referred me to a friend! I intend to complete a pet first aid course in the spring. References upon request. Areas: Guelph, Hamilton, Ajax, Port Perry, Oshawa , Whitby, Vancouver Tri-city area, Peterborough, Cottage Country and more. I work from home so all I need is an internet connection! I am not glued to a desk and I like to situate myself where I can keep an eye out and be by the back door. Hour lunch break is playtime and before and after work a walk. I love older pets and will care for your plants too.
