Victoria was great at communicating with me the whole time. Our first time using Rover and leaving our puppy and of course the puppy Managed to get out of her kennel. Victoria was great at filling me in and sending pictures of Rosie and was able to fix the latch on the kennel. Awesome first experience using Rover because of her. Will be using again sometime for sure! :) Thankyou Victoria!

We just got our sweet Regina a little over a week ago, and my husband and I had plans to go camping this past weekend. I went on Rover to see if anyone came up, and I found Sydney. I messaged her, asking if she would be interested in setting up a time to meet her, and we did. She came over, Regina seemed to like her, and we decided to give it a go. For the first time of leaving our cat behind, I was very happy with how Sydney handled everything. Checked in each time she came over to check on her, sent pictures, made sure she ate, cleaned the litter box, followed all the instructions I had left, everything went perfect. Sydney is really sweet, nice, and her love of animals is apparent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter and will rebook her myself in the future :)

About: I worked in a Wildlife Centre for many years and am very familiar with the treatment and care of animals. I love animals and have lots of patience and experience with them. I have also had the pleasure of taking care of many different breeds, small, medium and large. I have 2 cats, but both my cats have been brought up with dogs and they love being around the dogs that come to visit. Taking care of your pets is my full-time job! I have plenty of time to play with your pups! Whether it be walking, bathing, playing and feeding them, they will have my undivided attention. I have a big home with lots of room to run around and play with a fully fenced in yard. There are lots of toys and a dog bed to relax in or they can also relax on our pet friendly couches.

About: My first pet was at 7. Since then I had taken care of several dogs. I grew up with a dalmatian,a beagle, a poodle and a Labrador retriever. I also had many cats that had kittens that I helped with. The other critters I had had were hamsters, turtles, fish and birds. I didn't spend much time taking care of the neighbors pets as I was to busy with my own. As I got older my love for animals followed me, when I moved out west,I bought a beautiful wolf cross-samoyed puppy Jaguar, I bred her with my neighbors samoyed. I wasn't in for the profit, the male jumped the fence. The puppies were like little baby polar bears. 12 of them. I welped, weaned and sold all of them and all 11 of her next litter. Then I got her spay. She was my bestfriend for 18 years. Over the last 20 years I've become as much a cat lover as a dog lover. To date I have tabby named Pretty I rescued, a shorkie-poo puppy named Onyx and a guinea pig named Marilyn Monroe. Shortly after the covid hit I started taking courses online for Veterinarian assistant 1 and 11, How to start a business, How to start a pet sitting business, Introduction to canine reproduction. I was preparing to open my business. Cher's Pet Sitting and Home Security, the home security I'm thinking of dropping. I have a business page on Facebook. My first job was Christmas of 2022 in Toronto, at a Yonge and Eglington highrise, I arrived 3 weeks after 6 shorkie-poo puppies were born. My contract was for a month and a week to walk both the Mom and Dad dogs twice a day. Soon enough I was weaning and feeding puppies 5 times a day. Up all hours. The cuteness overrode everything though. So much so, I bought Onyx the puppy I have now. She made my Mom laugh everyday before she passed. Jumps on my son's head every morning. She never far from me and my friend to the end. I've only now have had the time to pursue my career. I've been retired for 7 years now, and had been enjoying time with my Mom. During the covid I started to prepare to open pet sitting business. I took many courses and was on my way. Mom fell ill and I had to move in to take care of her for 2 years until she passed. It's not until now that I've have the time to throw myself back into my business 10 fold. I've have a place now to offer care at my home. I have a puppy named Onyx that's the mascot of Cher's. I have an excellent referral for a dog walker since I myself don't offer that service. My schedule is pretty much open and weekends are negotiable. I will give quality care to your pet, whether a dog, cat or rat. No matter what service I provide to my clients I treat it like the client is right there with me. I don't cut corners to save time or compromise your pet. There's a certain way things should be done because they're worth the extra effort and time. With patience eventually you'll get their trust and love.

About: I have grown up with cats (every kind! Haha) all my life. I have two lovely boys (cats), who are 3 years old and about 4 months apart in age. They have become a bonded pair and brothers. I am not only a cat lover but also a big-time dog lover. Neighbours, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of fur babies since I was a child. I treat every animal like their my own and a part of my family. I'm currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to devote to playing and caring for your fur babies. I am available for boarding on the weekends and after 3 pm on the weekdays. Throughout the week, I am available to do morning, afternoon, and evening walks and check-ins. I have a fenced-in backyard and live close to open fields and trails to give your dogs a lot of outdoor time and play. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have grown up with two family dogs, medium to small breeds, and they are my entire world. I absolutely love dogs and would spend all day playing and petting and cuddling with them if I could! In the past I have also had a cat that I adopted from the humane society and he was incredibly important to me, although I did not have him for long due to him suddenly passing away from a medical condition. I also got two puppies during the pandemic (2020 & 2021) and they keep me very busy! They are both reactive, which has been a new experience for me these past few years! But it has helped me grow as a dog owner in terms of patience, understanding, and training approaches. In terms of pet care, I have had experience in administering oral medications to dogs (tablets and liquid), bathing dogs, and brushing dogs and cats. I have minimal experience in trimming nails. Additionally, I plan to obtain my pet first aid certificate in order to be better prepared for both my family pets and my clients! I am currently working a Monday to Friday job with variable shifts within those days, so unfortunately I can usually only commit to the weekends for care outside of my own dogs. However, if there is a specific need or special circumstance that comes up during the week, please reach out and I will see if I can accommodate! I have never had a fenced yard, so I am used to leashing up for every outing! I enjoy planning different routes for my pups to explore and am patient when they want to engage in stimulating activities such as sniffing! I am becoming more aware of dog body language due to my pups being reactive, so looking out for triggers to avoid where possible is becoming second nature. I will always tailor my care to the dogs needs and abilities!

This is for the safety of us, our animals and yours as well. We want to ensure that every pet is safe and as comfortable as possible. We are available to give as many potty breaks as needed and if your pet loves walks we'll be happy to take them along a beautiful trail near us with running water nearby and lots of space to play. For dogs who do better on walks by themselves or/and without other dogs around I will happily leave my pup at home( he will be taken at a different time ) and go on routes that are much calmer and less likely to run into others. Pets love playing fetch or tag/tug of war? Count us in! We love a good stimulating game in our home! For the cats I will make sure to dedicate lots of playtime without/or if preferred then with my cats as well to keep them stimulated and happy. If your fluff ball has a crate, bring it along – we'll make it cozy! Potty breaks and walks are regular, and mental stimulation is a must. Our pets enjoy a playful haven, filled with toys and tag games. Your instructions are my guide. Creating a comfortable, reliable, and inclusive space is my goal. About: I used to volunteer/work at a local animals shelter. Mostly took care of cats, but I also walked dogs and took care of small creatures. I baby-sat dogs for other people in the past. Yes, I stayed over night. I walk my neighbours dog time to time. He is a big dog and is such a love bug. I used to co-op for Ruff Cuts, so I have experience with cats nail treaming (extra charge: $10 per cat) and dog bathing (extra charge: $15 per dog)(must provide your own shampoo and conditioner). I can only brush both cat/dogs. It's only 1 thing, but I know how to train a dog if he/she pulls on a leash. I will ask you for any special introductions that you will have for your furry child. Getting to know/taking care of your baby(ies) is my priority (aside from my kitties). Yes, I have 3 cats. My special boys. ♡ Monday to Thursday (10 am to 10 pm). Fridays (10 am to 4pm). I do not do weekends due to my low availability. Please note, I feed my cats at 5pm everyday. That's their only scheduled meal. They have small portions of dry food on the side. I cannot have pets at my home due to my 3 cats. I'm more than willing to take pet-sit in the comfort of their own home. I can bring my own poopy bags if need to. Walks, kitty litter cleaning, feeding, play times, grooming, bathing, and making sure that they are as comfortable as possible. ♡

Kylie was wonderful to work with—quick to respond, flexible, and genuinely attentive. I chose her because of her experience with rabbits; our neighbour usually cares for our cats when we’re away, but bunnies need a different kind of attention. When I learned that Kylie also has experience with animals who struggle with social or trust issues, I asked her to spend some extra time with one of our cats as well. We recently lost a family member, and their cat is still adjusting and not blending smoothly with ours. Kylie communicated beautifully throughout, and it was such a relief to return home to healthy, happy bunnies and a spotless habitat.
