I’m single and have a trailor that has a gated yard. I work part time in Healthcare I haven’t figured out how to show my availability. Msg me and we can discuss if we are a good fit. I work part time at the local hospital. I have an average of 24-40 hrs every two weeks. Some weeks no hours. I have a lot of time to care for a dog. About: I cat sit my neighbour's cats as they foster for 2 years, having to feed, clean litter box and play, and occasionally gave medication. I also have experience with taking care dogs my whole life all different sizes and breeds. I love to take them on walks and playing. I am working 2 part Time jobs right now I work constantly every Friday 12-5 and Saturday 10-3 but I am willing to work around my schedule. About: I unfortunately have no experience other than I’ve had my cat for over a year now and my puppy for 7 months. I love them with all my heart. I have also been around dogs since the day I was born (all different breeds and ages). I work from home for my step dads business (Kodiak Metal Buildings) so this works perfectly as I need a little more money and have so much love for animals. I have a fenced in lawn and a 11 month golden retriever pup that loves every other animal! He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.
About: My first pet was at 7. Since then I had taken care of several dogs. I grew up with a dalmatian,a beagle, a poodle and a Labrador retriever. I also had many cats that had kittens that I helped with. The other critters I had had were hamsters, turtles, fish and birds. As I got older my love for animals followed me, when I moved out west,I bought a beautiful wolf cross-samoyed puppy Jaguar, I bred her with my neighbors samoyed. I wasn't in for the profit, the male jumped the fence. The puppies were like little baby polar bears. 12 of them. I welped, weaned and sold all of them and all 11 of her next litter. Then I got her spay. She was my bestfriend for 18 years. Over the last 20 years I've become as much a cat lover as a dog lover. To date I have tabby named Pretty I rescued, a shorkie-poo puppy named Onyx and a guinea pig named Marilyn Monroe. Shortly after the covid hit I started taking courses online for Veterinarian assistant 1 and 11, How to start a business, How to start a pet sitting business, Introduction to canine reproduction. I was preparing to open my business. Cher's Pet Sitting and Home Security, the home security I'm thinking of dropping. I have a business page on Facebook. My first job was Christmas of 2022 in Toronto, at a Yonge and Eglington highrise, I arrived 3 weeks after 6 shorkie-poo puppies were born. My contract was for a month and a week to walk both the Mom and Dad dogs twice a day. Soon enough I was weaning and feeding puppies 5 times a day. Up all hours. The cuteness overrode everything though. So much so, I bought Onyx the puppy I have now. She made my Mom laugh everyday before she passed. Jumps on my son's head every morning. She never far from me and my friend to the end. I've only now have had the time to pursue my career. I've been retired for 7 years now, and had been enjoying time with my Mom. During the covid I started to prepare to open pet sitting business. I took many courses and was on my way. Mom fell ill and I had to move in to take care of her for 2 years until she passed. It's not until now that I've have the time to throw myself back into my business 10 fold. I've have a place now to offer care at my home. I have a puppy named Onyx that's the mascot of Cher's. I have an excellent referral for a dog walker since I myself don't offer that service. My schedule is pretty much open and weekends are negotiable. I will give quality care to your pet, whether a dog, cat or rat. No matter what service I provide to my clients I treat it like the client is right there with me. I don't cut corners to save time or compromise your pet. There's a certain way things should be done because they're worth the extra effort and time. With patience eventually you'll get their trust and love.

In terms of pet care, I have had experience in administering oral medications to dogs (tablets and liquid), bathing dogs, and brushing dogs and cats. I have minimal experience in trimming nails. Additionally, I plan to obtain my pet first aid certificate in order to be better prepared for both my family pets and my clients! I am currently working a Monday to Friday job with variable shifts within those days, so unfortunately I can usually only commit to the weekends for care outside of my own dogs. This space will have a large cat bed, a window mounted lounge area where they can look outside and see all the birds, will have a couch for them to lounge on if they prefer and a ton of toys including a scratching post/area. We encourage you to bring their favourite toys, beds, treats, blankets, cat water/food dish etc to maximize their comfort while staying with us have some smells from home. Special Needs Pet Parents : Pet parents with special needs pets or even complex needs ( medications, epilepsy, seizures, shyness, special diets such as raw/kibble diet..etc) please reach out and let me know ALL of your needs because we would love nothing more than for your pets to feel safe and comfortable here. About: I am very flexible, with 15 years of caring for dogs, cats and reptiles and horses. Have experience with medications. My own dog was epileptic so I understand schedules. Able to also care for puppies and elderly dogs. I have experience with troublesome pets (behavioural ) and those needing assistance to potty. About: Hi! We are Star Sitters here on Rover, with 6 years of professional pet care and 18 with our own animals. Someone is always here in our calm, safe, and dog friendly home so your dog can spend the day with company instead of being home alone. We do live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. About: I'll treat your dog like it's my own. I love being around dogs. I have 15+ years caring for animals of all ages. I'm farm raised with lots of animals, always had a dog or two growing up and still continue to have my own. I'm confident with any age dog from puppies to seniors. I currently work part-time as a dog trainer and volunteer with the humane society with their dogs. I enjoy working with dogs to get them to really enjoy the walk. I do work with pullers and jumpers and try to get your dog to a level where you'll also be able to enjoy your walks. I aim to put a dent in your dog's exercise needs to give you that calm, fulfilled pup when you return. Your dog will be welcomed as a pack member with me where we will work to have mutual respect between myself and your dog(s). I take a firm, but fair, no nonsense approach to working with dogs. I live on a farm near town and do have open fields that your dog may run and play (if you and I both feel comfortable with your dog being off leash). I do also have a large fenced in area I use as well and a shop area that I often use for my training space. My girlfriend and I are both on Rover and often work together with different dogs including our own. Meet and Greets are always welcome to ensure I am the best fit for your dog. About: I’ve had many pets over the years. A monkey, a parrot dogs cats etc. I have a foster dog. He’s very sweet and plays well with others . I like to travel in the winter months. I’m single and have a trailor that has a gated yard. I work part time in Healthcare I haven’t figured out how to show my availability. Msg me and we can discuss if we are a good fit. About: I have had dogs, and cats, in my life, my entire life and I wouldn't want it any other way! Recently, I lost my beloved dog and now, dedicate myself to helping other fur babies of friends, family and Rover clients. My backyard is fenced so your dog will enjoy plenty of outside playtime in good weather. My home is dog friendly, complete with dog beds, blankets and plenty of toys. We will also go on walks if approved by you and a lovely park, with shade, is one block away from my house.
About: I unfortunately have no experience other than I’ve had my cat for over a year now and my puppy for 7 months. I love them with all my heart. I have also been around dogs since the day I was born (all different breeds and ages). I work from home for my step dads business (Kodiak Metal Buildings) so this works perfectly as I need a little more money and have so much love for animals. As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.
About: I cat sit my neighbour's cats as they foster for 2 years, having to feed, clean litter box and play, and occasionally gave medication.
