“Brittany is a life saver! I'm so happy to see how easily she can manage my dog with all challenges my dog presents. Today she took my dog on a walk with her dog and both of them went great together. At the end of the walk they played a little bit on the backyard. I can tell my dog is loving these visits and so do I.”

“Geetinder is such an incredible cat sitter. She cared for my kitties as if they were her own. I'm honestly so impressed at the love she showed for my cats and how quickly they became attached to her. Her consistent updates made me feel so comfortable and at ease, not to mention she happily fulfilled all my requests. She not only cared for my cats but she cared for my home as well. I highly recommend Geetinder to care for your pets. I will definitely be rebooking her again for the future!!”

About: Hi there! I'm Sarah, a recent graduate of STU, and I'd love to keep your pets company and help meet their needs! I go on walks every day around Freddy and always wish I had a dog with me, so I figured I'd offer to walk yours instead! I've housesat for many years and in many situations, including caring for many breeds of dogs at all activity and care levels, long-term stays of up to two weeks, giving injections to a diabetic cat, litter cleaning, basic dog training, light grooming and face/paw care, and even looking after a horse, duck, and cows! I'm happy to adapt to your routine and love detailed instructions, though the only boundary I have is I can't provide services to aggressive animals. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to see if we'd be a good fit! :) My schedule may change in the next little while, as I often travel for work, but currently my calendar is up to date! I can arrange walk times usually within a day, but prefer to arrange housesitting at least a few days in advance :) Unfortunately I cannot currently have pets in my apartment, so all care will take place either out and about on walks or at each client's home. I am down for walking, play, pee breaks, medication routines, daysitting or overnights, and one-time or repeat clients!
“Kim is really great. My dogs can be nervous to new people but they seemed relaxed with her. She came on time and very communicative. I will definitely book her service soon again. Thanks again!”

“Dawn took great care of my girl while I was away. Always on time for her medication schedule. Plenty of photos and updates, I knew she was in good hands. I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone in need of a good pet sitter.”

“This was our second time booking Emma and we are do glad she was available. The pups love her and she truly cares for animals and it shows. She was willing to take on additional days when I had to travel earlier than expected and worked we me to ensure she had an understanding of the pups routine before I left.”

“Erika was absolutely fantastic and her communication was impeccable. Our boys warmed up to her fairly quickly and she made sure they got all the love during her drop in visits. We had to book Erika last minute and she was very responsive and quick to let us know she was able to take our booking. We will definitely be booking Erika in the future and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.”
About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a deep love for them. I’ve cared for stray dogs, puppies, and my own family dog, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand different personalities and needs. I also have experience as a dog walker for dogs for the past year, giving me hands on experience with gentle care, attentiveness, and adapting to paced walks. In addition, I’ve worked closely with two wonderful dogs, helping care for them and making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every dog like family and always aim to create a calm, fun, and caring environment for them. I currently work part-time with a very flexible schedule during the week and on the weekend. This allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet without rushing or cutting corners. I enjoy starting my day with morning walks, but I’m also very flexible and can easily adjust to afternoons, evenings, or nights depending on the pet’s needs and the client’s schedule. Because of my flexible routine, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care and make sure each pet gets the time, energy, and presence they deserve. I always care for pets with respect, consistency, and attention to their needs, especially in their own home, where they feel most comfortable. I adapt easily to each client’s routine and follow all instructions closely to ensure their pets stay safe, happy, and well cared for. I prioritize maintaining their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific care routines. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort so I can respond to their needs in a calm and intuitive way. My goal is to create a stress free experience for both pets and owners by providing reliable care, clear communication, and lots of love and attention while you’re away.
About: I’ve lived in a household with dogs and cats my entire life, as a recently graduated university student living in a pet free complex - I am looking to still be able to spend time with animals. I currently work Monday through Friday, from 9 to 4 and am available outside of those hours and during lunch hour if it is needed. I have plenty of experience caring for & walking animals, and I am an individual who follows instructions well and pays close attention to detail!

“Yogini was wonderful with our cats. Our first impression of her was that she is kind, professional, detail-oriented, and she wants to make your pets feel loved! We are new to the city, and leaving our pets in the care of someone we didn't know made us nervous at first, but Yogini's approach to pet sitting put us immediately at ease. She sent us photos of our cats, and asked questions for clarification whenever necessary. I would highly recommend her, and I will absolutely be using her services in the future.”

Kimberly took great care of my teenage German shepherd. He is a big dog with lots of energy and she had no problems managing him. I felt very comfortable knowing she was looking after him. She sent me lots of pictures and updates everyday she saw him, she played with him lots outside and he was always very happy when I got back home. I would definitely recommend Kimberly!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Fredericton stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Fredericton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
