Today I am the proud parent of a goofy 1 year old Bernese-Golden mix named Foog, so I am no stranger to puppy energy and training, having experience in all age ranges of dogs. I grew up with dogs, one of which had diabetes and required a daily administration of insulin, pills, and special care. I have also cared for cats, bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, and fish. As an added bonus I have two daughters that also love dogs and will help care for them, especially my youngest (12yr old)… dogs love her (so do kids lol). BORDETELLA (Kennel Cough Vacccine) IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PUPS' SAFETY. I work from home full time so I can offer crate time, free play, and/or structured playtime with your pup plus at least one walk per day. I have no fence but two lengths of springed outdoor ties (shock resistant) for supervised outdoor play and can offer at least one walk or dog park a day with every stay. I have one senior dog who can be crated in a separate room during the daytime if your dog struggles with other dogs. She is great with other dogs of all sizes. “Catalin was great for our Sheppard Fritz. He has a very big fenced yard where they played fetch. There are walking trails close by that Fritz was walked on and provided lots of updates and pictures. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and heart. Today I am the proud parent of a goofy 1 year old Bernese-Golden mix named Foog, so I am no stranger to puppy energy and training, having experience in all age ranges of dogs. I grew up with dogs, one of which had diabetes and required a daily administration of insulin, pills, and special care. I have also cared for cats, bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs, and fish. I love animals of all kinds! Outside of pet sitting, I am a fisheries ecologist, which means my personal and professional life revolves around animal wellbeing. Whether it’s administering medications, handling energetic pups, or just giving extra cuddles, I treat every animal like they are my own. As a PhD student at UNB, I have flexibility in my schedule throughout the week for walks and boarding as I will work from home some days. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or longer stays, I can adjust to fit your pet’s routine and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve. I provide a welcoming space, treating each animal like my own. I always prioritize safety (supervised play in secure places, watchful eyes for anything on the ground) and will make sure your pets feels safe and happy. We back onto a large field with lots of play space and quiet streets that are perfect for sniffing, walking, and exploring. My pup, Foog, is a playful and loving dog who loves making new friends and is allowed on our comfy couch like family. We have successfully hosted many visiting dogs in our home, Foog is a great friend.
“Nicola and Aaron are fantastic. Our first sitter had to cancel; we had to scramble to find another. Nicola replied to my request within an hour and said yes. We exchanged a few messages and booked the dates. Their home is easy to find and pet-friendly. Drop-off was stress-free, and we received a few pictures and updates during the sitting. Our Neely loved playing with their dog. I would book Nicola again in a heartbeat. Oh, I almost forgot, Neely got dirty during the visit, and they gave her a bath :) I got back a cleaner dog than I dropped off!!!”
About: I have been taking care of dogs for a very long time. I take my time to do research to keep up to date on the best ways to take care of a dog. I currently have a rescue dog and let me tell you, she is the best thing ever and she would love to meet your dog too! I work full time, 5 days a week in the afternoon and evening. I will be able to provide full care for your dog in the mornings and nights like I do for mine. I have open availability for the remaining 2 days that I am not working. I offer services like dog walking, potty breaks, in- home visits/ care, doggy day care and even overnight stays My home is spacious with more than enough space for your dog to move around and there’s also a nice long walking trail close by as well as park. Your pet will be allowed full access around the house regardless of whether I am at home or not
About: Ive spent the better part of 40 years with dogs and cats. Lost mine a few years back and would very much enjoy caring for yours! I have recently retired and misses being around animals. I’m interested in helping you out by walking, feeding or staying with your loved ones while you are away. I’ve had plenty of experience caring for both our own dog and cat as well as a wide assortment of other pets of friends and family.
About: I have grown up my entire lives around dogs, love walking them and just being around them & the positive energy they bring. I have extensive experience caring for cats. In the past, I spent 1 entire summer dedicated to caring for a family of cats until they were healthy to find good homes. I have also rescued and adopted 2 cats, unrelated times, to save them from going to the SPCA. I currently have 1 cat that lives with me. I have a flexible schedule. I am open to working whenever needed. I have a car and able to drive to your location, or drive your pet anywhere if need be. I have 1 cat at home, so I am hesitant to offer services at my own home, but open to discussion if it is needed.
