About: I have had dogs and horses in my life for as long as I can remember. Hunting dog, ranch dogs, pets and rescues. I currently have have 6 dogs and 3 horses. Along with the boarding and adventuring I offer equine services, and small farm sitting. House plants, outside flower and garden care. I can operate ATV UTV and small farm tractors, I have been working with a very experienced dog trainer for over 3 years, I have learned great dog management skills and help with training class occasionally. I have also done some dog training for clients. I have excellent local references, upon request. I am honest reliable and I would love to sit/board for you. I live on 120 acres, with no neighbors in the Kootenai NF. I have multiple dog areas in my home and on the property. At no time will your pup be unsupervised. I am very active with my dogs, I am currently am training with Fae and Chaos and they require a lot of outside time and exercise. Our adventures include hiking paddle boarding, lots of swimming time at the lakes, horseback riding and ATV runs. In the winter activities depend on weather, snowshoeing and trail-joring. I would love to have your dogs come joins us for some pack theraphy fresh air and exercise. My dogs are family and yours will be to. Play dates are most welcome. Walks potty breaks. I am happy to watch them in my home or yours. Let me what your needs are and I will do my best to accommodate them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. Living off grid and having all the animals I have, and having a love for them, pet care has been a good fit for me. I am also available weekends and most Holidays. I don’t have another job. Your pet is my focus. I have a large fenced area for free play with a couple of my pups. . This area also has some agility equipment that they can learn to use. Rooms and areas of my home can also be blocked off to keep your dog separate if you prefer. I am currently adding inside kennels for separation needs, older dogs. Though my dogs are allowed on ALL my f6urniture and basically have the run of the house during the day, I will follow your rules while they are here. All of my dogs crate at night. In your home I will follow all instructions and treat animals and home with the utmost care. My clients say they can't even tell I was there. I also offer vet tech service for horses, bandage changes, hand walks, injections, medications, etc,. Light exercise can also be arranged Elderly dogs, medications, injections, nail trims, baths and grooming also available (extra fee)

About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life so am very comfortable around both cats and dogs. I care very deeply for animals and will show your pets the same love as my own. I work remotely giving me flexibility to visit or walk your pets during the daytime depending on where your located. I also have flexible start and end times so can easily fit in more than one visit/walk in the day. I am very comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I will always make sure your fur baby or babies are cared for in a loving and responsible manner.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life until I moved to Sparwood, now looking to look after anyone’s pets as needed! I will gladly look after senior pets as well. I currently am off work looking for something to fill my days. I would love to look after pets to keep them company and have some company of my own. I do not have pets at my place, but can bring them here when needed. I have nothing pets could get into that’s harmful and I do not use harsh chemicals in cleaning or anything harmful to pets.

About: My favourite place on earth is Leighton Dog Beach in Perth, Western Australia —there's nothing like seeing every dog on the beach having the absolute best day ever! My passion for dogs runs deep; I've lived with dogs since I was 5 and been caring for pets of others for over 15 years. Over the years, I've become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, who have come to realize that I might just prefer dogs to humans! Most recently, I've been caring for cheeky cats Fish and Chip in Toronto. During my university days, training Dexter, our rescue greyhound-collie mix, was my favorite way to procrastinate, and I gained valuable experience in understanding and responding to a dog's unique needs. I appreciate the need for keeping routines and consistency to reduce anxiety and keep behaviour in check, and my chicken and rice making skills for dogs with sensitive stomachs are top notch! Very recently, I had the incredible experience of helping my mum's rescue, Sunny, a wolfhound mix, through the birth and early care of her nine puppies. Watching them grow and ensuring they were all healthy and happy before they found their forever homes was a deeply rewarding experience and solidified my desire to continue working with dogs. Recently arrived in Canada on a 2-year working visa and am traveling with my car. I'm excited to offer my pet-sitting services through Rover during my break from full-time work. Whether it's young, energetic puppies or a senior dog needing extra care, I’m committed to providing personalized, attentive care to ensure every pet has the best experience possible. About: I am a young professional currently employed as an environmental technician. I am very active and enjoy hiking, camping, biking, swimming, and adventuring in my free time. I've taken care of dogs of all breeds and temperaments since the age of 12. I have owned my own dogs, cats, and horse. I have also worked as a veterinary assistant in clinic, where I gained experience administering a variety of medications, nail trimming, monitoring for signs of medical distress, as well as overall handling of many different pets with many different temperaments. About: I grew up on a farm just south of Calgary, and for my entire life I’ve been surrounded by animals big and small. Since moving into Fernie for my job, I miss having the animals around me. This is why I thought dog walking would be a great way to get the interaction with animals I missed. I grew up with two big German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees Dogs as well as a small miniature schnauzer, so size of dog is never an issue for me. As well as during my teen years, my mother wanted a new thing to fill up her time as her kids were getting older so she decided to start pet sitting for family friends, meaning I learned how to take care of my own dogs but also dogs from other families. I also own my own cat and have had him for 8 years now so I have no issues looking after any animal you may own I am currently working full time M-F but I work from home and am able to make my own hours. I will be able to go check in/walk your animals middle of the day most of the time When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for the animals. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs to ensure they feel comfortable and secure in their own space. Respecting the client’s home is just as important—I follow all instructions carefully and keep communication open for updates or questions. Trust is key. I treat every pet as if they were my own, building a bond through patience, consistency, and kindness. Whether it's feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I aim to create an stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I am unlikely to be allowed to care for your animal in my own home as I already have a cat.

About: I've had my own dogs since I was 3. Throughout my life I've always been the one friends and family leave their pets with. Absolutely fine by me as my two favourite things are dogs and walking! Me and my partner, Ella, take Bimini for walks everyday, we'd all be super happy for some extra company. I have no other commitments and am basically free to walk morning, afternoon and evening, 7 days a week = no lonely doggos. I am also fully DBS checked. We moved from a farm in the UK with 5 doggos to Canada with just one! Bim is missing her friends from home, she loves to go on big walks but absolutely will happily chill on the sofa or garden for the rest of the day, or depending if you have a playful pup they'll spend all day entertaining them. Luckily I'm based right by the start of lots of trails and the brilliant dog park!

About: I love dogs so much. I care about every dog’s well-being being and growth as much as if they were my own. I just want them to be comfortable and have a good time all the time, they deserve it! I own a little energetic terrier and most of my close friends own dogs. So going on dog walks and taking care of pets is a huge part of my daily life already. Why not add more dogs to the party while I’m at it! Jokes aside, I just want my dog to go on walks with friends, he tends to exercise more that way and seems a lot more happy after a walk with another dog than on his own. I always make sure the dog is comfortable and feels at home and at ease around us and in the environment we live in. We have a decent sized fully fenced backyard and dogs can always play when they need to let out extra energy. That being said, we have a small house with a lot of stuff that is easy to reach for bigger dogs, so we only let dogs that are pretty relaxed and house trained inside the house.

I have just launched my own business and am working remotely from home, so have the flexibility to check in or walk your pup or cuddle with you kitty on their regular schedule I only offer pet sitting in your home as I currently live in a home (like most in Fernie) which is not pet friendly. I love taking care of other pets and am very reliable.
