About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Friends and family have always entrusted me with their pets, to feed walk and love them. I have a consistent work schedule with regular hours, so I can be available to give your pet the care, attention, and routine they deserve. I have a fenced yard. I have two cats at home. I am able to take daily walks with your pet. I will care for your pet like my own.

About: I am an animal and dog lover looking to walk your dog and give them some extra exercise while you're at work! One hour home visits available during the day available, where I check on your dog providing it food and water, take it for a walk around your neighbourhood or your choice of a one hour forest hike or bike path walk for $10 extra. I am available tuesdays and thursdays from 11am to 3 pm for 60 minute walks or home visits. At your house I can ensure your dog is well taken care of by making sure it has adequate food and water and take your furry companion around your neighbourhood. I can either take your dog for a routine neighbourhood stroll or for a nice luxury walk down the water front trail anywhere between cornwall and ingleside. If you prefer your fur friend to see some shade in a nice forest I am also providing services at Gray's Creek Conservation Area. I am happy to check up on your pet while you are away and give them the necessary exercise they need!

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 years old. I have had the responsibility to care for my family dog, and take him on continuous walks! I also worked part time at Petsmart for 6 years when I was completing my Bachelor and Master’s Degrees. I absolutely LOVE animals and I would love to be able to help others who need the assistance to care for their furry friends! I am currently working full time as an Occupational Therapist at the Cornwall Hospital, I would love to be able to finish my day, help other individuals by walking their loving pets! A great way to stay active, and fulfill my love for dogs! Ultimately, the pet will be supervised and have a big yard to play in! Lots of walks, love and attention for the pets as well as a safe environment to stay!

About: I am a full time Government employee. I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 1 medium size dog of my own. A yellow lab mix. I live alone and have no kids. So I’m usually available. I work full time and available weekdays, weekends and some holidays. I work from 8:30am - 4:30pm. I work from home 2-3 days a week My dogs are treated like my own kids. They are well taken care of and have been for 12 years. They are getting up there in age with some difficulty moving around. Mainly the larger Choc lab who is on some meds for arthritis and allergies. My property is wirelessly fenced and dogs are both trained on the boundaries. Both dogs are insured. Poop is picked up on a daily basis to keep property clean. My dogs roam my property and house. I do have one dog that is a bit moody so unfortunately at this time I cannot board dogs but looking forward to in a year or so. Unfortunately my Choc lab will be 14 in Nov. Not sure how much time I have left with him.

About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting most likely in the fall of 2026. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I live alone, and do not have obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (MonThurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing (even when sniffing the ground), making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was born, we’ve always had a cat and dog! I walk my dog daily! I have taken care of friends and neighbours pets since I was 10, taking them for walks, feeding them, etc. I am teacher so I am often at school for 7 hours of the day which leaves me with time for visits and walks with your pets! My schedule is pretty flexible unless I am teaching of course! Keeping in line with the animals schedule and routines. Knowing if the animal has any medication and having an emergency contact in case something happens.

About: I live in the Orleans area which means there is so much neighborhood to go for walks and runs! I am available fulltime Monday to Sunday. I have had animals all my life! As of now I have 2 dogs, a german shepherd mix and a husky mix. I current walk dogs for a living with a company but would love to try this out on my own. About: ROVER is my favourite way to enjoy pets and new areas. I work as an education assistant. I work short days on a full time basis. I am able to take weekdays within Ottawa if your pets can be left alone during the day. Weekends, holidays and summers I can go anywhere for my Rover clients. I am currently also in business for myself as a BreathWork & Transformation coach, and have workshops both online and in person. I am certified as a Spiritual coach, Meditation coach, and Manifestation coach. I have both a SSW and Business Management Diploma. I believe in continuous learning. Since I was born, I have always had a pet in my life. The dogs I have loved included a German Shepherd, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, a Shih Tzu, a Rottweiler /Boxer mix and a Boxer /French Pin mix. The cats in my life included a Calico mix, a Tiger mix, and a Manx. As my life goals are coming to fruition, I know that this is not the right time for me to personally home, love, and care for an animal of my own. I am also willing to drive to Montreal, Pembroke/Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto or Niagara Falls areas if you need me for 1 week or longer. I am able to take your dogs out for short walks, weather permitting, if they are not pullers. As I don’t drink, smoke cigarettes, or use drugs, that will never be happening in your home. I have great energy that animals can feel. Most timid or shy dogs warm up to me faster than you would except. My reviews showcase the results.
