I take the advice of the client and try to keep the dogs routine as per your requests! If you prefer your dog have time in the yard, with a partial walk - that's up to you! Dogs can be very temperature sensitive, so sometimes walks may need to be adjusted with indoor play time so they remain comfortable.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs I need to take care of while looking after them. Make sure to provide a bag of treats, a leash and anything else needed to make your dog happy on their walk or for check in visits. If your dog requires short walks or longer walks, we can talk about a discount depending on the time you'd like. My dogs have had allergy issues so I understand the extra care they may need and will follow your direction. I am willing to walk any size dog.
A typical day
I'll walk your dog around the local neighbourhood that they are familiar with, but if you'd like your dog to go for walks in the park or trails nearby - just let me know and I am willing to drive them out there. I'll always keep your dog on leash, and will reward good behaviour! I've had a good amount of experience walking shelter dogs and am comfortable walking dogs that are not mine. Arrange a meeting with me and we can go on a small walk to make you more comfortable and you'll trust that I'll take care of your pup while you're away!

I am a regular Rover Walker and have been using the app for 7 years now - I have a few consistent clients who couldn't be more happy that I look after their pups. Feel free to reach out for a meeting and we can discuss a regular schedule for your dog and make sure it works for you! Have owned dogs for my entire life; small dogs to big dogs. Volunteered at a local K9 rescue as a dog walker; aware of dog allergies and have taken care of nervous/anxious dogs. I am an avid camper/outdoorsman who loves to hike and go on long walks so am not afraid to take on longer routes especially for larger sized dogs. I love to play with dogs and have had experience dog sitting for friends and family; am willing to go out of my way to make your woofer a happy dog! I'm self employed, so my schedule can regularly accomodate dog walks or dog sitting - I'll always work with you to make sure your pup is taken care of! Having grown up with dogs my whole life, establishing trust is very important. Reinforcing good behaviour with treats, calling them by name and actively using the owners training techniques while looking after their dog is all important to me! As a precaution, I don't walk with other dogs or meet with other dogs while walking in the neighborhood to avoid any sort of altercations.

Robert did a wonderful job during our weekend trip! He looked after our cat Konatsu very well and she seemed to like him so much. He sent us lots of lovely photos of her with updates, too. Robert is amazing, took on a walk last minute for my pup. When he came to meet Kleo she felt his good energy and took to him right away. This is my first time using rover and letting anyone come to the house and walk her she's almost 6. I was nervous to book but Robert made me feel comfortable with kleo in his care right away. Will definitely be a repeat customer and most definitely recommended. Thank you Robert :)
