Caring for them isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. I’m a certified veterinary technician and a future veterinarian, and I’ve had the privilege of helping pets through every stage of life. I’m experienced with senior pets, giving injectables, administering medications, and supporting animals with chronic illnesses like renal failure. I’ve also been by many families sides during end-of-life care, always offering gentleness, patience, and respect. Je suis technicienne en santé animale certifiée et future vétérinaire, et j’ai eu le privilège d’accompagner des animaux à chaque étape de leur vie. J’ai de l’expérience avec les animaux seniors, l’administration d’injections, les traitements médicamenteux, ainsi que le soutien des animaux atteints de maladies chroniques comme l’insuffisance rénale. J’ai aussi été présente auprès de nombreuses familles durant les soins de fin de vie, toujours avec douceur, patience et respect. As a veterinary technician, caring for animals is part of my everyday life, both at work and at home with my own pets. I work only three days a week during daytime hours, which leaves me fully available on evenings and weekends for house sitting, drop-ins, and additional care. This balance allows me to provide consistent, reliable, and attentive care to every animal I look after. I also offer flexible house sitting. Because I have pets of my own, I may not stay overnight for long consecutive periods, but I’m happy to provide a mix of drop-in visits and a few overnight stays to best suit your pet’s needs. — Les soins aux animaux s’intègrent naturellement à ma routine. En tant que technicienne en santé animale, prendre soin des animaux fait partie de mon quotidien, autant au travail qu’à la maison avec mes propres compagnons. Je travaille seulement quatre jours par semaine, durant les heures de jour, ce qui me laisse entièrement disponible en soirée et les week-ends pour le gardiennage, les visites et les soins supplémentaires. Cet équilibre me permet d’offrir des soins constants, fiables et attentifs à chaque animal dont je m’occupe. J’offre également un service de garde à domicile flexible. Ayant moi-même des animaux, je ne peux pas toujours rester plusieurs nuits consécutives, mais je peux proposer une combinaison de visites à domicile et de quelques nuitées selon les besoins de votre animal. In a client’s home, I maintain your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, feeding times, walks, litter box care, enrichment, medications, and quiet companionship. I stay attentive to behaviour, appetite, hydration, and overall comfort, and I always keep the home tidy and respectful. If your pet requires medications or injectables, I administer them safely and confidently. Most importantly, I care for every animal with the same attention, patience, and love that I give to my own pets. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for while giving you complete peace of mind. — Que je prenne soin des animaux chez moi ou au domicile d’un client, je suis une routine calme, structurée et axée sur la sécurité, guidée par mon expérience professionnelle. Dans la maison du client, je respecte autant que possible l’horaire habituel de votre animal : heures de repas, promenades, entretien de la litière, jeux d’enrichissement, médication et moments de compagnie tranquille. Je reste attentive à son comportement, son appétit, son hydratation et son confort général, tout en gardant la maison propre et respectée. Si votre animal a besoin de médicaments ou d’injections, je les administre de façon sécuritaire et confiante. Surtout, je traite chaque animal avec la même attention, patience et affection que j’offre aux miens. Mon objectif est qu’il se sente en sécurité, compris et véritablement choyé, tout en vous offrant une tranquillité d’esprit totale.

About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)

About: Je m’occupe de mes deux bassets à la maison, j’ai eu un élevage pendant deux ans où la femelle basset originaire de la Bretagne m’a fait une très belle portée dont les chiots étaient tous en santé. J’ai gardé le dernier chiot son nom est Rocky il est très gentil. Avec mes deux bassets, nous nous promenons deux fois par jour petite balade du matin et balade de l’après-midi on sort souvent pour des sorties d’une heure, dont le parc à chien où nous aimons vraiment beaucoup socialiser, et se défouler, nous aimons les autres amis, car nous sommes faits pour vivre en meute. Si je me déplace, j’effectue toujours une surveillance d’hygiène, nettoyage des pipis s’il y a lieu et remise en état de la pièce donner la nourriture, puis s’assurer qu’ils ont toujours de l’eau, jouer et aller dehors et faire les soins routine, lavage des oreilles, lavage des dents, lavage du poil, brosser le poil et s’assurer qu ils sont en pleine santé. Cela fait partie de ma routine avec mes deux chiens.
