“Vanessa handled twice a day in-house visits while we were away. She was there at the time that we had agreed and kept the food and water dishes filled. One of our five cats had medicine that needed to be administered and she managed that well. I enjoyed the communication of pictures and notes that she would send with each visit. I would re-book Vanessa when the need arises.”

About: Always helping friends and family with watching and caring for fur family members. Good with last minute booking or cancelling. Lots of flexibility to help. I work full time as a nurse but am able to be flexible with visits and playtime. I have a reliable vehicle and work 4 days a week. I have a large lake front property and happy to watch animals in their own home as that’s usually more comfortable for them. I can take dogs for walks.
About: I have owned and enjoyed dogs and cats since I was a kid. Had a deep bond with my last amazing dog that showed me how close we can become with a fur baby. I honor that bond that people have with their own pets and care for them as lovingly as I did my own. She passed at age 15 so I learned about how to best deal with her going blind and going on meds during her last months. I'm semi-retired and work on the phone and online so I'm very flexible with my schedule, and also with where you are located. I am happy to travel to sit in southern BC, especially for long-term sits. My home isn't appropriate to host pets at this time, so I am happy to travel to sit for you at your home instead Note: my rates are negotiable and based on your pet's needs. For example, if I need to drive them to a dog park daily, I would charge a bit more Since I am self-employed and set my own schedule I can enjoy a lot of time with your pets. I like getting out for long walks, to the park, and lots of cuddling together too! I cannot currently accept pets in my home, unfortunately. I am hoping that will change in the future but for now, no pets can visit

About: I have looked after many types of dogs and understand that each sit may differ depending on their needs. My time is flexible to ensure you have piece of mind that they are getting the best care and knowing that I can give them my full attention. I have had my dog now for 11 years which I trained and would walk regularly. After moving away from home and my pup, I realized that when I started dog walking again not only helped out others and their pets but brought me joy to be able to do it again. Please reach out if you have any questions as I would be happy to help out as much as I can! My schedule is very flexible and I don’t work long hours so I can be there for your pup morning and night. Distance isn’t a issue and I do what I can to make it work! I want your pets to feel safe and happy so I always require to know any allergies, fears or distresses about each pet before taking them in my care to ensure they are staying out of harms way.

About: What sets me apart is the level of personal attention and care I give every pet. I take time to understand their personality, needs, and routine so they feel comfortable and loved, even when you’re away. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and active breeds, so I can adapt to different energy levels and care requirements. This includes patient potty training and gentle guidance to slow strolls and extra comfort for older pups. I’m also attentive to details like medication schedules, special diets, and safety on walks. With me, your pet isn’t just being watched, they’re being cared for like family. Caring for animals is already part of my daily life, and fitting it into my routine comes naturally. I love starting my mornings with fresh air and a wagging tail, and I’m just as happy ending my day with a relaxed stroll or some playtime in the yard. Whether it’s a quick visit, a long walk, or extra cuddle time, I make sure each pet gets the attention, love, and activity they need. When I’m with your pets, I care for them like they’re my own. I follow their usual routine, make sure they’re fed, walked, and loved on, and give them plenty of playtime and attention. Whether it’s in my home or yours, my goal is to keep tails wagging and paws happy until you’re back.

Laura W.
“Laura is a wonderful pet caregiver. She has looked after my animals many times. Laura is very attentive and does extremely well with all kinds of cats and dogs. She is one of the best animal caregivers and cares for others’ pets like they are her own. 10/10 would recommend her to others to look after their pets for any length of time - you can rest assured your pets will be well looked after and cared for.”
Suki F.
“To whom this may be of interest, Hello, my name is James Hebert and this is a reference letter for Suki Fox. During my time of knowing Suki, I have found her to be a conscientious person that has a big caring heart. I know Suki well because we share many interests and traits. Suki enjoys helping people and is involved in wellness, creativity and the beauty of the natural world. She appreciates open minds, spreads kindness and enjoys good communication. We also share the love of animals. When we first connected, I met her elderly dog "Xena," a sweet and loving four legged soul. Xena lived a full life and I remember seeing and feeling the pain in Suki as the reality of eventuality came on March 31 2022. It broke everyone's heart who knew her loving pet and best friend. During our visits, I had noted Suki kept a clean and organized home. Suki's character is beyond reproach as she carries herself professionally and displays good judgment and maturity. I confidently recommend Suki as a loving and trustworthy pet sitter and will easily manage personalized care for your pet sitting needs. Feel free to contact me at any time with questions or inquiries, Best regards, James Hebert jhebert57@gmail.com 778 557-9870”

Sadie C.
“In my opinion Sadie would be an excellent candidate to look after anyones pet. She is an extremely caring and genuine person and has a vast amount of experience with care taking and training all types of animals. I have seen first hand how loving she is towards animals and would attest to the fact that they always seem to adore her and are drawn to her, weather it be in a group setting or just walking down the street. Sadie trained my dog and he now has an excellent recall, is great on leash, and always listens to commands. I would not hesitate to trust her with any of my pets again in the future.”
