“Vanessa did a great job looking after our shy, nervous kitty, Frankie! Communication was easy and responsive. I would have her take care of Frankie again and highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for about 15 years. I grew up with 2 part German shepherds/Huskies with my family, and now have a beautiful Bernese mountain dog of my own who I love to pieces. Whether you need a vacation, a couple of hours of sitting, or just to take your pooch for a walk, I'm your girl! I'm currently working a casual but full time job. My hours are all over the place so depending on the day, I could do either days or nights if I'm in town. Which I am the majority of the time. If my calendar says I'm unavailable, I set it as a default as my current job is based on a day to day basis. So I still may be available depending on the day! I have a fenced yard, and there is also an enclosed dog park very close by, as well as a beach if your pup loves to swim. I also have a full grown Bernese who loves to meet new friends

About: I am a huge animal lover I have been surrounded by many pets for my whole life. I work at a Senior home and do pet therapy. I am currently working full-time time but when im at work my husband will spend time with your furry friend, play fech and go for hikes or even just relax outside. I have a 2.5 yard that is fenced that dogs and other animals love to explore, I enjoy walks and runs and my kids love having furry friends join along on are walks :)
About: I have owned and enjoyed dogs and cats since I was a kid. Had a deep bond with my last amazing dog that showed me how close we can become with a fur baby. I honor that bond that people have with their own pets and care for them as lovingly as I did my own She passed at age 15 so I learned about how to best deal with her going blind and going on meds during her last months I'm semi-retired and work on the phone and online so I'm very flexible with my schedule, and also with where you are located. I am happy to travel to sit in southern BC, especially for long-term sits. My home isn't appropriate to host pets at this time, so I am happy to travel to sit for you at your home instead Note: my rates are negotiable and based on your pet's needs. For example, if I need to drive them to a dog park daily, I would charge a bit more Since I am self-employed and set my own schedule I can enjoy a lot of time with your pets. I like getting out for long walks, to the park, and lots of cuddling together too I cannot currently accept pets in my home, unfortunately. I am hoping that will change in the future but for now, no pets can visit

About: Always helping friends and family with watching and caring for fur family members. Good with last minute booking or cancelling. Lots of flexibility to help. I work full time as a nurse but am able to be flexible with visits and playtime. I have a reliable vehicle and work 4 days a week. I have a large lake front property and happy to watch animals in their own home as that’s usually more comfortable for them. I can take dogs for walks.

About: 🐾 What Sets Me Apart 🐾 I have had pets my whole life. Since I was a young child. We always had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters and fish. I loved taking care of them but since getting older I have not had a chance to have my own as I generally am in rentals that don't allow pets so I love to look after others when they are away. I treat every pet like my own, catering to their unique needs, routines and quirks. I am experienced & trustworthy – I have years of experience with dogs & cats of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Clients often call me the pet whisperer as their pet comes to me willingly when they might not with others because of my calm, gentle and grounded personality. As a trauma recovery coach specializing in nervous system regulation, I create a soothing and safe environment for pets, especially anxious or rescue animals. I take your dogs on engaging walks, engage in interactive play with your pets and give mindful attention to their well-being, not just basic care. I am flexible & reliable – I work around your schedule to ensure stress-free pet care. I work from home as I am a Trauma Recovery Coach so I see my clients online. I generally help clients regulate their nervous system or give them mindfulness practices. So I am often doing meditations with them or calming sessions with them. I take breaks in between clients and go for walks so can be sure to give your pet the extra attention it needs. I generally go to your home to take care of your pet. I do have a yard with a fence right now though which is helpful.

Danica "Danny" W.
“Danny is amazing with animals, we grew up with dogs ourselves with family, and she owns a Bernese mountain dog, which she loves more than anything in this world and takes beyond care of that dog. She would be great with other dogs, as in taking care of them and taking them for nice walks”

Suki F.
“I had the pleasure of having Suki at my home with my pack for 2 weeks. I have a Corgi puppy 1 year old, a Border Collie pup 1 year old, a 15 year old Blue Heeler and 2 cats! There are many needs associated with these fur babes as well as some special care. I was able to enjoy a 2 week vacation without any worry thanks to Suki's natural ability to care and tend to my animals. I knew they were not only being fed and watered, but having lots of snuggles as well. Everything was in order when I returned. Suki will definitely be on my list to call again.”

Laura W.
“Laura is a wonderful pet caregiver. She has looked after my animals many times. Laura is very attentive and does extremely well with all kinds of cats and dogs. She is one of the best animal caregivers and cares for others’ pets like they are her own. 10/10 would recommend her to others to look after their pets for any length of time - you can rest assured your pets will be well looked after and cared for.”

Jill P.
“Hi there animal lovers About 5 years ago Jill took care of my large home, my chocolate lab and my sweet old cat while I was away. She was excellent, my animal family were well cared for as was my home. Jill is a lovely person, enthusiastic, energetic, she loves the outdoors which is vital for dog walking.
