About: Let me look after your fur baby while you enjoy skiing, biking or hiking at Sun Peaks resort. My family had dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been a pet parent since 2000 and at one time owned 3 dogs: a black lab and 2 Sealyham Terriers, one of whom was blind! As a pet parent I know how important it is to your enjoyment that you know your dog is safe and happy. My home is a quiet space perfect for your fur baby to hang out while you enjoy the mountain. I had to say goodbye to my precious little dog Johnny Cash in March 2025 and I look forward to spoiling your fur baby I work from home and created my work schedule based around my dog! We go outside for regular bathroom breaks and there is plenty of time for cuddles on the couch, and longer walks between client calls. When I am not working I like to go hiking, golfing or snowboarding depending on the season. Most of the day is spent relaxing in the living room or on the deck. There is an extensive walking path directly outside my condo. Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with us on the king bed or wherever you prefer.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience with all kinds, from high-energy adventurers to laid-back cuddle bugs. I’ve house-sat and cared for many dogs over the years, and I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality. My days include walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. Plus, I’ve got kids who love dogs just as much as I do, so your pup will get lots of positive attention in a fun, safe environment. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible and consistent schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins easily fit into my daily routine, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet each dog’s specific needs. Your pet won’t be left alone for long and will be part of a warm, active home environment. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets are treated like part of the family. In my home, I keep spaces clean, secure, and dog-friendly, with lots of supervision, playtime, and comfortable areas to rest. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and energy level, and I take care to introduce new environments slowly so they feel at ease.

That being said I might not always be available when you want me :( send me a message to see if I can help you out. 🐾 I take any special instructions seriously. I will only feed them what and when you’d like. I will socialize how much or how little you want them socialized. I generally only take one dog or one family at a time to ensure the most personalized care. Special circumstances I can take 2 dogs or 2 different families pets at a time. This is a farmstead and there are other dogs that live nearby but everyone gets along and is up to date vaccinated 🐾

I was grateful she welcomed him into her home and had a fenced yard to keep him safe. We received lots of pictures and updates and excellent communication. Will reach out again next time we require a sitter in Kamloops.”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, I have cared for many different breeds of dogs since I was 10 for neighbours, friends and family, I have bottle fed, cared for and raised a new a born pup and I'm an experienced dachshund owner (IVDD). I am home full time except for the odd appointment so I will have a lot of time to play with your fur babies!! I am available during the week and weekends. My yard is fenced, I do have netting around the bottom of my deck railings so that my dogs or your dogs can’t jump off. I also never leave the dogs unattended while outside. I have a gate at the top of my stairs to the front door so that my dachshunds don’t go down the stairs or get out of the door. I also have crates if they are needed.

About: I am a pet owner and I foster for a rescue local to the Shuswap area. I specialize in large breed dogs however I love all animals regardless of breed or size. Being local to the Shuswap I know where a lot of our local walking trails are and different neighborhood routes are and can walk according to what your fur baby needs. I work full time in the community and very close to my house, so even when I am not home I am able to run home and let the dogs out for potty breaks or other needs. Because I am a foster for our local animal rescue if an animal is to come into our home I need to guarantee that they are up to date on vaccinations and fixed. This is to protect any fosters and your furry friend. Otherwise I will be happy to care for your animals in other environments

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid, I continue to foster and take care of my own dog. I have alot of experience with senior dogs as I owned a small chihuahua into his geriatric years. I have also taken care of puppies many times and taught basic training. I work part time and am home alot. Along with that when I am working I’m able to come home and provide potty breaks. We live an active lifestyle so most times the dogs come with me wherever I go! We take extreme safety with our own dog and will continue with others ! We would take dogs on lots of walks and dog park if owner is comfortable. We like to play and cuddle any furry friend that comes our way!
