“This was my first time using Rover but it will definitely not be my last. I was a little nervous leaving my pup with a stranger however I had friend use the app and told me about training/background checks. I had family visiting from out of town & wanted to spend the evening with them but my pup was spayed last week so didn’t want to leave her alone and wanted for her to stay at our home. The communication prior with Elena was excellent. As soon as I met her, I knew my pup was in the best hands & was instantly reassured. My pup is a pretty good judge of character & it was obvious she picked up on Elena’s calm presence. Elena sent me pics & updates. I can’t thank Elena enough!! About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and they have always been treated as family. I grew up taking care of my grandparents rescue German shepherd and then their mixed breed rescue. In university I got my first dog, my soul dog Maggy who was a Rottweiler, I worked extensively with her to ensure she was trained properly via many socializing outings and mental stimulation. Everyone who met Maggy loved her and always commented on how well behaved she was. My other dogs Rosie and Willie were both rescues and were treated in the same manner. I love all dogs big and small, puppies and seniors. I have given medication to my dogs in the past and am comfortable to do so with your pets if needed. Currently working full time Monday to Friday with flexibility to work in St. John’s so your pets needs can be attended to in the evenings with weekends free to pet sit in your home. Experienced and trustworthy, I provide personalized care in your dogs home to reduce stress for them and you, provide personalized attention and playtime, peace of mind with regular updates, medication administration (if needed), regular exercise, and availability for overnight stays.

About: My love and passion for animals started as a kid where I grew up on a big farm in Manitoba, so I’ve been around all kinds of animals my whole life and have dealt with every type of situation and problem an animal may have. People often tell me I have a natural ability in knowing how to care for animals. I often dog sit for friends and family where responsibilities include feeding, walking, bathing, enrichment, and overnight sitting. I have experience with hyper and untrained puppies as well as more large and active breeds like the Great Dane and Australian shepherd. I previously had my own German Shepard mix but currently I just have my 2 yr old pup Kanie. She’s a curr mix. Currently I’m not working so I have lots of spare time that I would love to fill with caring for and playing with your pups! My number one priority will always be your animals safety and well being. Your fur baby will never be left unsupervised. Its important to me to also “listen” to a dogs cues and what they’re trying to tell you, because they will always tell you want they need/want.
