About: Over my years I've had different breeds of dogs, and other animals in many different enviroments. Animals approach me out of nowhere. Training animals comes easy to me, I'm patient, thural, and dedicated. Falconry dogs, working class dogs, and even the little ones. Animals are my life, they come first and they love me. Give the dog time to come to me and it'll never leave my side. Follow the owners instructions. Make sure the dog always has water, fed on time, potty breaks, and time outside. Learn the dog and learn how to take care of it.

About: I’d be happy to help you with your pet(s) and take them for a walk or let them out for potty stops or come by your home, and feed them. I am very dedicated and reliable. Happy to help you with your Pet(s) between the hours of 8am - 3pm I have three dogs of my own. Love and enjoy animals very much. I love and enjoy animals and be happy to check in on your sweet Pet(s) Happy to help you while you are away or out of town.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

“Sondra checked in on our 16 week puppy Kai while we did some holiday shopping and did a wonderful job playing & feeding him during the quick visit. I can tell Sondra is very compassionate to dogs. We hope to book her in the future!”

About: I have a unique background with horses, farm animals, and dogs that want to walk all day in the forest. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered kittens, boarded cats, and stayed with dogs up to 200 pounds. I am available overnight for weekends, nights, and extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7am. I am currently available most days and nights due to my online graduate program. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: I may be young, but I've had multiple animals in my life already: 3 cats, a handful of dogs, some fish, and even a horse. I also did rescue for 5 years, being a foster family for numerous cats working with my local animal shelter. I also dog-sit for family and friends. I am free any day throughout the week as long as I get notice at least a day ahead. I am an older sister to lots of kids, so scheduling is very important to me. I would treat your animal just like my own: walks, playtime, relaxation, and feeding. I can also bathe and brush as well. If you can give me a list of what your pets need, I'll make it a priority.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was a kid. From dogs and cats to birds and turtles. Animals have always been a magical part of my life. Weekly animals are a huge part of my life. From caring for my own, to walking dogs and watching animals while their families are away. We live in a neighborhood that is very close to lots of great trails for hiking. My dog Abby loves making friends as do my kids.

About: I have had my own pets starting at a very young age, trained, rescued, volunteered at pet foundations and charities, and helped my old vet before he retired in Las Vegas for many years. Animals are my passion! I am retired and available now with an open schedule for your needs. I live with my one Beloved Cat who is tolerant of my comings and goings. First and foremost, my way of doing things is to take care of your furry baby the same way you have been doing with the same routine that you already established. This cuts down on the stress level of you being absent. I want your pet to feel loved and safe!

About: I was an intern at Fairgrounds Animal Hospital for two years, so I have plenty of knowledge beyond just being a sitter. I have cared for over 20+ dog breeds. Along with puppies. Not just dogs, but cats, reptiles, birds, and fish. I am a loyal sitter to 4 families, whose dogs I have cared for since they were puppies. I have sat for 3+ dogs at a time. I am great at ready animals social cues, energies and worries. Pet care fits great into my routine. I have been sitting for 8 years now. I always include extra time for dog care in my schedule. I do not have kids, so other than my career, I do not have major responsibilities. (Other than caring for your fur baby!) I am flexible and free! In terms of caring for pets in someone elses home, I am greatly experienced and trusted. The 4 families pets I care for, I sit at their house. I respect boundaries, and belongings. I am willing to build trust as well. For my own home, I have no pets and share my house with one roommate. My yard has grass and fenced in. Inside my home, there is a lot of space. My house is more minimalistic. I am open to the clients seeing my living space, prior to bringing their fur baby over.

About: I am an active, mature, loving, and reliable caregiver, and I will give your pet(s) the care, attention and love that I would give my own. I am retired from the State of California, looking to supplement my retirement, and fill my empty time caring for pets. My schedule is open and flexible. My love for dogs goes back to my childhood. I am hoping to fill my free time caring for your pet(s) while you are away from the home. Pets need attention and love, let me provide what your pet needs during your absence. I can also provide light housekeeping, light shopping, and meal prep if needed, for an additional charge. I have completed a thorough background. I am retired and have an open calendar. My days and evenings are flexible, which hopefully meets you and your pet (s) needs. I do attend church on most Sunday mornings, but if needed, I can attend online services. I have a clean and comfortable home with a completely fenced in patio, as well as a well groomed walking path and dog park in my area. I always pay close attention to my surroundings during outings.

“Malique has watched my pets twice now, and I’ll never book with anyone else! I have 3 frogs and a fish and a cat she did an amazing job caring for. I was so nervous since the frogs needed frozen food and water changes (and my fish is a bit blind). She did absolutely amazing and definitely has a ton of knowledge about all kinds of animals! My kitty really loves her as well. She’s also extremely responsive to texts/ calls and sent pictures while I was out of town. I even had a last minute booking this weekend she made time for! Thank you so much for caring for my babies!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and even more exotic pets in both urban homes and rural off-grid environments. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or administering medicine, I treat every animal as a unique being with their own personality and needs. Friends and community members often turn to me for pet care because they know I genuinely love and respect animals as soulful companions. As an entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, I’m available for daytime visits, overnight stays, and extended care. I work remotely and manage my own hours, so I can easily tailor my availability to your pet’s routine—including last-minute needs or irregular schedules. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I offer a calm, loving, and secure environment where your animals can feel safe and at ease. I take time to learn your pet’s specific needs, preferences, and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in your absence. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and quick to adapt to ensure trust is never broken. Whether we’re enjoying outdoor play or snuggling indoors, I create a grounded and peaceful space for them to thrive.

About: I had a very reactive and anxious dog for years. I know that some fur babies require extra love and care and am happy to give yours anything they require. I am very flexible. My full time job is remote so I can be available to stay with your animals or just hop over and check on them. Whichever you prefer. I am very flexible. I can come to where your pets live and stay with them, or I can bring them to my place if you prefer. Or I can just visit them through out the days if you prefer.

Im available after 3pm and in the evening M-F to go to your home and open on the weekends. I love to travel and drive or fly to LA almost every month. I can expand my weekend availability for house sitting if given sufficient notice (at least a week) for areas outside of Reno/Carson/Tahoe. House sitting is like a mini vacation for me since I have grown adult children that I ADORE but…mama needs alone time, with animals 🐶🐱 I’m available to do drop ins and over night on the weekends in your home. I can take your furry loved ones for walks in the neighborhood or to the dog park and around the river if that’s okay. About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. “Deborah has pet sat for me several times, for multiple days at a time, and I 100% recommend her for your pet sitting needs. She is a true animal lover and a very experience pet owner, an excellent communicator, and exceptionally responsible, professional, kind and tidy. I have a very high energy 90lb, 3 year old male Rhodesian ridgeback dog who needs a ton of exercise, and an old man cat who needs medicine 2X/ day. Both of my animals adore Deb. She consistently provides them with lots of love, attention and ample exercise for the dog. I have used many, many, pet sitters and Deb is definitely a favorite. I feel incredibly confident that my pets are in good hands when Deb is watching them, allowing me to fully relax when I'm out of town. Thank you Deb!”

Nikita D.
“Nikita took care of my medium sized cattle dog and house for two weeks. I was rafting the grand canyon so I had no service for the entire time but I had my absolute trust in her. She was incredible and my dog was happy and healthy upon my return. She went out of her way and met with me twice before to get all of the instruction about Snoop & the house. I will absolutely ask her to dog/house sit when we take our next trip.”
