About: I've taken care of dogs, cats and horses since I was 15. I have had pets my whole life. I have owned various breeds of dogs and cats. I have pet sat for all kinds of dogs, cats and horses and look forward to caring for your animals! I've had experience caring for various aged animals and am comfortable with all kinds. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate early mornings, afternoons and evenings throughout the week. I look forward to working with you and meeting your pets! About: when you choose me as your pet sitter, you have nothing to worry about. I care for all pets as if they're my own. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I am available at any time if you need me. i'm currently available for the following services: housesitting, pet boarding, drop in visit, dog walking for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and one on one dog training. if your dog is with me, I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly. We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. I would focus on other activities that are more suited to your pet. I also take a lot of pictures and I am constantly in contact with you so you don't have to worry where or what we're doing. I currently work as a therapist with an office in the Madison area, right next to the plow and hearth. My schedule is pretty flexible and it changes weekly as my client needs change. I am almost always around, that makes me a great person for any last minute bookings needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of affection, daily walks, and playtime tailored to your pet’s needs. I keep the space clean, secure, and low-stress, with my own well-behaved dog Daisy as a companion if your pet is comfortable. When staying in your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, maintain regular updates, and work to ensure your pet feels safe and cared for in their familiar environment. I aim to build trust with both pets and their people every step of the way.

I realize it can be tricky finding a trustworthy sitter nowadays - that’s why I do what I do! I would love to help with your fur babies ❤️ I have plenty of time to spend with your animals while you are away or at work! I drive for Instacart & Amazon part time, so I may be gone for 3-5 hours some days; I will discuss my schedule ahead of time and let you know any time planned to be away. I am 100% comfortable with watching older pups too as long as there is no serious health issues. I will provide any exercise or administer any medication (non-injected) as needed 😊 I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets! In-house sitting is ideal for any pets that have a set schedule and will help keep them comfortable in an environment they are used to. I have a very strict schedule with my dogs at home and am used to following a schedule. There is a possibility I can be gone for 3-5 hours a day if your pets are okay with being alone for that long. I always ask that you leave me detailed instructions on feeding/care guidelines for your pets and we will discuss care during required meet & greet. If your house does not have a fenced in yard, I am fine with walking your dog on a leash. *Warning: I will NOT walk your dog off a leash even if you tell me your dog is well mannered off a leash. You MUST leave me a leash if you do not have a fence.*

About: I began caring for dogs in their homes since I graduated high school at 16. I have owned my own business since then, providing in-home visits, dog walking, boarding, and also worked as a professional dog trainer with Ridgeside K9. I enjoy dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. I currently work a full time job, but I have a rotating schedule and only work 14 days/month. Send me a booking request and I will respond quickly with availability to care for your pet! I have a fenced in yard, and live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of safe walking options. Dogs that board in my home must be crate trained.

About: I was raised with dogs (shelties, primarily) and now have a hobby farm with goats, dogs (german shepherds, a lab and a sheltie), ducks and a cat. I'm reliable and friendly and happy to follow whatever instruction and routine you need. Your pets will be well cared for and you'll receive plenty of photo updates while you're gone! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate nearly any routine your pet is used to, including frequent walks and potty breaks. I will work with you to keep your pet's schedule as close to what they are used to as possible. If boarding in my home, we have a fenced yard, plenty of area to go on leashed walks, and they will get plenty of one on one attention and care. I'm happy to do transport or add in a bath during your pet's stay so your life can be as simple as possible while you're trying to get out the door for your trip. Pet care is my full time job and priority. I can adapt as needed to make sure your pet keeps the routine they are comfortable with, even when you aren’t home. I will ask questions and take notes on your pets’ routine and then do my best to ensure that those habits are in place with me.

About: I have experience with all dogs and grew up working on a farm, caring for an array of livestock to include chickens, goats/sheep, alpacas/llamas, and two sheepdogs. I am willing to feed & care for any other farm animals or exotic pets if requested. I came from a big cat loving family, and would love to come love on yours. I currently work from home which affords me the ability to be pretty flexible with times of days and last minute bookings. If I’m a not available for some dates, please reach out to me to discuss. Due to our new pup (we rescued her Jan 2022) who we are still socializing - we unfortunately are not longer able to offer boarding or do doggy daycare in our home.

About: I’m an experienced pet sitter willing to care for your pets when you’re unable to. Mature and patient, I am an adult who is reliable and provides attention to detail when caring for your pet. I have lived in Gordonsville for 40+ years and had cats and dogs throughout this time. Prior to providing boarding or pet/house sitting service, I will meet with you and your pet to understand your needs and ensure a good fit for all. I will only board one pet at my house at a time to ensure he/she has a comfortable environment. For day and overnight care, I will provide meticulous notes and/or text messages about feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have experience administering medicine as well as pet/house sitting for multiple pets (up to 20) at the same time. An additional $5 will be added for each drop in visit and walking service, if more than 10 miles from my home. I work from home and have a family of four so someone is almost always home. I try to keep the same routine for your pet as they experience at home. I will take care of your four legged family members like they are my own and provide ongoing text updates and photos throughout their stay.

I also have two dogs of my own which probably won't be alot of fun. My beagle is usually sleeping in the house all day as for the husky she usually laying in the back yard squirrel hurting. I can create your fur baby at night or provide a dog bed. I do allowed fur babies to sleep in the bed only with fur parents permission. My fur babies are not snugglers so they choose to sleep on their dog beds.

About: Have had dogs ever since I was a toddler. Grew up with pugs and French bulldogs. Currently have my own pug puppy and dachshund and have experience with my brothers black lab as well. Big or small dogs, love them all. Only work three days a week so would love to help out with your fur baby on my days off I work three days a week as a nurse at the hospital and am off the other four. About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages as a dog lover and veterinary assistant. I am well versed on basic training for puppies as well as special care for senior pets. My dog Amaya is very well trained, and super gentle with smaller dogs and cats. I am home full time and my husband works from home. We love taking Amaya out to the park for exercise and play time and exercise. I am happy to watch your pets in your home or host them in my home. Either way they will get lots of exercise and cuddles!

About: Hello, I’m Dani, and I love all animals! I have adopted multiple pets of my own from SPCAs. I personally have owned lots of dogs and cats, a few fish, a hedgehog, a turtle, and hamsters. I believe that every animal deserves lots of love and a caring, warm home! I promise to always give my best to your fur (or non-fur) babies and keep them in good hands while you’re away. It’s important for you and your pet to be comfortable with who is taking care of them. I’m comfortable with all ages and sizes of dogs! I’m pretty strong for a woman and have been able to handle all breeds. I am available on the weekends and weekdays. Mornings and evenings before and after work! I can be flexible and work around both of our schedules to see what fits for us both. I work at a spa and a restaurant so my shifts at both places vary greatly. Weekends are usually a 9am-5pm, but weekday shifts are typically no longer than 6 hours. Pets are always in the best care with me. My own pets even sleep with me and I love pet cuddles! I can be flexible to do whatever you need me to do! I can feed, water, walk, play, and bathe your dog! I’d love to become besties with your pet! I often times catch myself having full on conversations with them 🤣

About: I worked at Louisa County Animal Shelter for 3 years. I am enrolled at Blue Ridge Community College to become a Vet Tech. All dogs are good dogs in my eyes. I am good at clicker training for simply getting a dog to sit or just simply getting there attention. I grew up loving animals they are my passion and I continue to strive to give every animal I come across happiness and the sense of feeling free. Walking and taking care of dogs and cats at the shelter is apart of the job. During a walk I do know what’s good for your four legged best friend and how to get them to calm down if they start to pull or they are excited to go see something. I am able to give medicine if needed orally or through injection. One day I hope to own my grooming/pet hotel business. Along with owning my business I would like to start a shelter for the most misunderstood breed of dogs. I am currently working on a farm with horses, chickens, ducks etc. anything farm wise for feeding I can most certainly do I am good with any type of animal just let me know what you need and I can work with your schedule 🙂. I fit the needs of your best friend to the best of my ability if I’m working at a certain I can take a break and do what needs to be done to make them comfortable I follow the daily routines as if the owners are there and even do a little more to ensure each pet is comfortable in their space.
