About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. About: Hello, my name is Vicki and I absolutely love animals. I used to work at a doggie daycare which was amazing. Now I work a Mon-Fri 8am-5pm job which gives me a lot of free time. I am comfortable with all size and shapes of dogs as I own and live with a 125lb rottweiler and 50 hound/pit mix. So if you have a big house horse that needs a strong walker I'm more than comfortable with that. But I also have two cats that are 7 and 9 pounds so I'm very happy with a small cuddle buddy as well. On top of dogs and cats I have taken care of lizards, fish, and a bird. If your baby has a heartbeat and love I can't wait to spend time with them. As stated above I work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday so I am not out super late or early in the morning. I like to take my own dogs on adventure walks/hikes after I get home and on weekends. As I will be staying in your home I like to come by before the stay so that A: you and your pet can meet me and to B: ask you about the routine in your home. Whether you have rooms, crates, eating schedules, medication etc. I am also more than happy to read any lists or guides that you feel the need to leave as it helps me to make sure nothing is overlooked or forgotten.
