About: I've consistently had at least one cat and dog in my household at all times, if not two! I took Small Animal Care 1&2 in high-school. Durring summer breaks I went to horse camp where we learned how to safely handle, ride, and groom horses. I occasionally take care of my neighbors chickens when they go on vacation. I am currently working part-time and my schedule is made on a monthly basis. I'm available most weekends and weekdays after 1pm. Can do early mornings and late potty breaks. The house I live in has a large front yard and a larger backyard. It is unfenced but in a safe neighborhood that's perfect for walking

About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. About: I have several years of animal care under my belt, to which I can provide references upon request. I have watched dogs ranging from 2 weeks to 15 years old, friendly to timid, and big to small, so I have a variety of experience and understanding of the needs of each pup. I currently babysit during the day a couple days a week which varies. This commitment is only part of my day, which allows for plenty of time to drop by to walk/feed where might be needed. I am comfortable with any requests from clients in regards to how they wish for me to care for their animals whether it be crating, keeping on a closer leash, etc.

About: I have pet sat for my Nextdoor neighbors for years and I have also had dogs my entire life and had to take care of them I work best in the early mornings and later afternoon on weekdays and almost anytime works on weekends I’m mostly flexible and available to be there for your pets I always make sure the pets are fed and have gone potty and I make sure that there are not to many things they can get into or on top of I also notify the owner immediately if I feel something isn’t right or if they is a problem with the pet of if I have a question

I’m used to having to harness and walk dogs on a leash, my own dog is not leashed trained so I’m used to dogs pulling and tugging if your dog pulls and you are worried the person that walks them would be angry over that.

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and I recently lost my own, which reminded me just how much animals mean to me. About: I was raised with dogs (shelties, primarily) and now have a hobby farm with goats, dogs (german shepherds, a lab and a sheltie), ducks and a cat. I will work with you to keep your pet's schedule as close to what they are used to as possible. If boarding in my home, we have a fenced yard, plenty of area to go on leashed walks, and they will get plenty of one on one attention and care. I'm happy to do transport or add in a bath during your pet's stay so your life can be as simple as possible while you're trying to get out the door for your trip. Pet care is my full time job and priority. I can adapt as needed to make sure your pet keeps the routine they are comfortable with, even when you aren’t home. I will ask questions and take notes on your pets’ routine and then do my best to ensure that those habits are in place with me.

About: My family has a small farm with 3 German Shepherds and 3 cats, as well as cows, chickens, fish, and a bunny.Since i was born, there has never been a day where animals haven’t been apart of my life. While watching your pup, I follow their exact routine down to the letter to keep their stress levels low.
