About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and taking care of them! Currently, I am caring for my 2 cats and leopard gecko! I recently switched shifts so I am now available all week! I am no longer able to do house sitting because I now have a baby to take care of, but if they are good with kids and cats, your pet is more than welcome to come stay with us! I do prefer having the option to crate so if issues do arise or if I need to step out, I can do so easily.

About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: My wife and I love animals. We have relied on Rover sitters for our animals and want to provide others with the same opportunity. We have a German Shepherd of our own who is very sweet and loves other animals as well. We promise to take the best care of your pet as possible and spoil them as much as we’re allowed! I work from home and can be available any time, day or night. My wife is off 3 days in the middle of the week to help provide any care. We have a partially fenced yard and no neighbors that are very close. Our yard is large and can provide any needed exercise and play time.

About: As a work-from-home father, my flexible schedule accommodates needy pups or cats requiring frequent visits or overnight care. I currently have 2 small dogs and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. If you live in this area, I'm here for you! I also run (slowly) so if you have a dog that wants to run off energy for a few miles, I'm in! I have cared for a horse that needed daily eye medication, and I can administer medications if your dog and or cat needs them. I am willing to learn how to administer insulin to your pet, should they need it. I am also able to transport your animal to any appointments they may have to go to. I have a clean driving record with no accidents or tickets. I will treat your fur babies as if they are my own! I do stay home during the week, so you wouldn’t have to worry about your animals being left alone for extended amounts of time. I work from home, so your fur baby will always have company! I am very flexible with scheduling, and willing to watch your pet in case something unexpected pops up! I live on 10 acres in a secluded area with low traffic, so your pet will have plenty of space to explore! I have two female Great Danes, as well as three cats so your pet will always have company!
