Amazing person! Gave multiple picture updates and told us everything she did with our dogs! Came over to meet the dogs to see if she would be a match, listened to everything we needed to say about them! We have a huge yard that they can play in but she still took them on walks in our neighborhood!!! Taught the dogs some new tricks and gave them so much love when we were at work!! Highly recommend Shannon! You will not be disappointed and your dogs will love her just like ours do!!

I treat every dog like my own—prioritizing safety, consistency, and clear communication with owners so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care during weekdays and many weekends. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, keep their routine consistent, and create a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable. I’m attentive, patient, and always focused on making sure your pet feels secure and loved.

About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.

About: Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Aly, and I absolutely love animals. Every animal has its own unique personality, which makes spending time with them so rewarding and fun. Pet care has given me the opportunity to earn extra income, meet wonderful people, and spend time with some truly amazing animals. Along the way, I’ve also learned so many interesting things I never would’ve thought to look up myself in conversations with new people. I have roughly 15 years of professional pet-sitting experience, along with a lifetime of caring for family pets. I’m experienced with: • Dogs (puppies to seniors) • Cats (kittens to seniors) • Chickens & roosters • Pigs (farm pigs & mini pigs) • Fish (bettas, goldfish, koi, and tropical fish) • Horses • Chinchillas • Guinea pigs & hamsters • Rabbits • Turtles • Ferrets • Hedgehogs • Corn snakes • Reptiles, geckos, & lizards I’m always happy to learn and add more furry, feathered, or scaled friends to that list. Thank you for considering me to care for your pets! Monday through Friday, I work a 6-8-hour shift, but I schedule pet sitting and house sitting around my work hours & leave to ensure pets still receive plenty of care and attention. My greatest availability for full- time in house is: • Weekends & holidays • Monday–Friday: Midnight- 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM–Midnight.  I will always do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine and needs while providing reliable, attentive care. I have a checklist that I review with pet owners to ensure we cover everything as thoroughly as possible. This includes bathroom schedules, allergies, medications, the type of fencing or yard setup they have, whether pets are allowed on furniture, and if they are sensitive to thunder or loud noises (primarily so I can monitor them closely during storms or fireworks). I also ask about grooming needs, any injuries or hotspots to watch for, veterinary contact information, and the nearest emergency vet in your area. While I’ve never had to take a pet I was caring for to an emergency vet, I believe it’s important to have that information readily available in case treatment ever becomes necessary. We’ll also discuss any limitations they may have, as well as whether they’re allowed to go on rides, walks, swimming outings, or even enjoy the occasional pup cup 🩶 I also like to review each pet’s daily routine and preferences with owners to help keep their care as consistent and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll ask about feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleeping arrangements, favorite activities, and any behaviors or sensitivities I should be aware of. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and stress-free in my care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family.

About: I have taken care of many different animals of all shapes and sizes since being raised on a farm in Washington state, dog walking in seattle Washington, and assisting with animals with compromised health issues. I work from home mostly and days I do go into work I am home about 4pm. Two-three day work trips one or twice a month but I have a lot of control over my scheduling. At this time we are not accepting any more animals to come into the home. In the future we will open it back up, but we are redoing our basement.

About: I LOVE DOGS!! What more can I say? I have had dogs in my family, of my own and taken care of family dogs practically since I was born. I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and love all of them, no matter what! I have had experience with special diets, dog walking and even diabetic dogs (using diabetic test strips and glucometer). Sometimes I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer: I can get along with all dogs and read what they need or want. I'm also great at helping dogs to heal or get over their fears! I especially love giving and receiving loves (hugs, kisses and lots of cuddles and petting)! Give me your doggie babies! :D I would love to take care of them!

About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I know what I'm doing and if you choose to book with me, rest assured your pets are in great, caring and knowledgeable hands. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I've worked with just about every dog breed imaginable, and am always up for a challenge.

About: Hello and welcome to my profile, here’s a little about me! My mom started her pet sitting business around 15 years ago, and ever since I have tagged along, caring for dozens of dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, chickens, you name it. More recently I have started doing pet sitting on my own including midday walks and vacations. While you might typically skip over an 24 year olds profile, I can assure the best possible care for your animals with references. Currently I am working part time but have a flexible schedule. I have a lab mix puppy, a grey tabby cat, and a bearded dragon. I have also owned several different animals over the years that I have experience taking care of. I have my own car and a lot of free time. I love taking care of animals and I don’t see it so much as a job. Not only am I able to take the best care of your pets but I’ve worked in other peoples houses for so long that I remember the things that other people might not. Take the trash out, get the mail, alternate the light switches, make sure all the doors are locked, i’ve even defrosted meat the day before someone got home.

As of July 2026, there are 621 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Burnt Factory. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Burnt Factory. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Burnt Factory.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Burnt Factory. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 89% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
