About: I’m a long-time social worker who really should’ve been a dog social worker. If I could figure out how to bill insurance for snuggle time, baths, long walks, and naps I would have the perfect life. I’m not afraid of the elements and will get out and walk in the snow, rain or whatever else Michigan can throw our way. I’ve sat for some pretty temperamental large dogs. Patience is a virtue. I’m skilled with special-needs dogs. I’ve had a couple who have been injection dependent, oral medication dependent, and require topical oils. I’ll do whatever it takes to make your fur baby comfortable and happy. We don’t get them for very long so each day truly is a blessing. I’d love a chance to snuggle with your baby.

I truly believe dogs and cats can sense energy — and I’ve always felt a natural, calm connection with them. I can follow structured routines, feeding schedules, and administer basic medications if needed. I pay close attention to behavior changes and body language to make sure your pet feels safe and understood. My schedule is currently very flexible, as I work from home as a freelance architect. This allows me to be fully present, attentive, and available throughout the day. I’m a morning person and available starting at 7am, seven days a week. My husband Alan occasionally helps with transportation and additional support when needed. He is also a true animal lover, and together we make sure your pet receives consistent and attentive care. We often joke that we become the “second mom and dad” to the dogs we care for. Whenever possible, we genuinely enjoy spending time with them together — making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Your pet’s safety and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I’m available to provide care in your home or at a location that best suits your pet’s routine and comfort. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any specific guidelines you provide. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure, and I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and overall well-being.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
