About: I used to live on a ranch including dogs and cats. I’ve had many years of caring for them and when anything happens to them, I’m the first one that gets called to get asked what they can do to help them. I am full time Monday-Friday but I would love to take care of your pets after! Anytime after 4:30 will be the best time I can come after work but on the days I’m off, anytime works Whatever the rules are, I will follow them. If dogs are needed to be crated at a certain time, I can do that and if they need free time constantly then I am all for that as well.

About: I have 30 years of dog experience and will love your dog like my own. There is no dog or task too big or too small. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and grew up with 100+ pound dogs in our home and on our furniture. I work well with all temperaments. Please let me know how I can help! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pups! My schedule is flexible, and I’m open to any hours: days, nights, weekends. I have a quarter acre fenced in yard for your pups to feel the wind in their fur! My puggle Oscar loves to play with other dogs.

About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. These are things I have learned from my favorite clients, families that have taught me how to make a happy living caring for their beloved households. Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I don't mind driving out of town for overnight gigs with appropriate compensation. Just ask and let's see what we can set up. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.

“Ashlee is my beautiful daughter-in-law. A couple years back I found a stray dog and after not locating the owners Josh and Ashlee decided to rescue it. I couldn’t have asked for a better home for this pet. They have been so patient with this very high strung rambunctious stray dog, loving it and making it feel safe in it’s a new environment. Along with their two cats they are the best pet parents on the planet. They love their furry babies and they have such a heart for all animals.”

“Brittany is the sweetest girl ever and is so gentle with my dogs. My dogs can be a little jumpy and get excited when new people come over and she is great with them. One of my dogs is special needs and can be hard to navigate sometimes but she is super patient with him. She super reliable and she is always available when I need her. Brittany is the only person I will trust with both of my dogs!”

Amanda K.
“Amanda has been a pillar in my life, and in the life of my two tweens. I had an out-of-town weekend and Amanda stayed with my children, got them to school, fed them dinner, etc. But the best part was how she handled their tweenie attitudes. She was firm, honest, and gave them straightforward consequences for their actions and behavior: She actually empowered them to be better people. Oh, ops. Was this supposed to be a testimonial for pet sitting? She did that, too. Walked the dogs, fed the cats, honored the house rules about furniture, and I got super cute photos of them all in action. She took care of the pets for both day-at-a-time and when we were away for a few days at a time. She's great for both the pets and the pets!”
