About: I've had pets most of my life. I've cared for big dogs and little dogs. This includes potty training, walking, baths, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. I've also administered medications in pill, liquid, and shots. I've cared for puppies, middle aged, and seniors and know the unique needs at each life stage. I currently work full time, but my wife only works part time, and we are on separate schedules, so we have lots of time to care for your pet. I am available almost all weekends. I have a full fenced in yard with a 4 foot chain link fence. The fence has been "small dog" proof to ensure no escapees. We have 8 dogs, but all are super friendly and get along well with others. We also have tons of toys, chew bones, and beds throughout the house.

About: Let's have some fun! Besides growing up with dogs, I have had the opportunity to work with them in different fields over the last ten years. Volunteering, day cares, boarding facilities, veterinary clinics, and working as a trainer (my full time job) have all been wonderful learning opportunities and exposed me to a lot of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I am the owner of Long Road Canine Training here in Ashland. Your dog's safety is my number one concern while they are in my care, followed by having a lot of fun and meeting their needs throughout the day. Their days will include exercise, free time in the yard, food puzzles, naps, play time and lots of affection (if they like that). I have lots of dog toys including balls, frisbees, tugs, and a flirt pole. Visiting dogs do sleep in crates at night time**. For boarding please bring with you: Food A chew for the crate 1-2 toys they simply can't live without A blanket / bed for the crate *I have wire and airline style crates as well as bowls so you don't need to pack those unless we discuss otherwise. Being a dog trainer over the last 5 years, taking care of dogs is my every day routine. Fitting another dog or two into my schedule is no problem! Clients that are here will be crated for bedtime, and occasionally during the day when I can't take a dog with me. We have a large fenced in back yard, a treadmill and a park close by for any dogs wanting to go on an adventure. There is also a creek in the back - promise your dog will be bathed before coming home!

About: Hey there! I’m Kristen. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was in elementary school! I have experience taking care of and owning small and large dog breeds, cats, and even farm animals like goats, pigs, turkeys and cows! I also worked at a local public alpaca farm, Majestic Meadows, and provided love, care and husbandry for a variety of exotic and farm animals, including horses, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, and more! I have experience working with animals who have special dietary needs, special medication needs, senior pets, and pets who have physical disabilities and need extra care and aid! I can brush your pet, clean their ears and teeth (if they will let me and it is safe to do so), and give them a simple bath if you would like! Lastly I do have experience in basic behavior training for dogs, including click/reward training to teach sitting, lay down, and release, however I am NOT a professional dog trainer and am not willing to sit for dogs that experience highly aggressive behaviors or biting towards new people. I am currently doing Rover full time, so I will have plenty of time for your pets needs and for playtime, and am able to make sure that bathroom breaks and meal/snack times are not spaced too far apart :) For house sitting I cannot stay full time around the clock as I often have doctors appointments I need to attend, so I may have to come and go, but I would not be gone for longer than 3-4 hours at any given time, so if your fur baby can be alone for 3-4 hours, then I can accommodate for that 😊 I make sure to closely follow any given instructions for pet care, including instructions for a special diet or medications, and if the pet needs any special needs care or aid with grooming! I like to go over the details with clients of how their pet may like to play, how they get along with other animals/people, how they like to be pet, how they do on walks, what their favorite snacks are, and of course any special needs such as oral medications, special dietary needs, etc… to make sure that I am offering the highest quality of care and comfortability for their fur baby! I also make sure to pay close attention to timing between meals, snacks and potty breaks so their pets don’t become uncomfortable or have any accidents. Lastly, I make sure to give lots of love and attention to their pet so they don’t feel lonely!

About: I have grown up with my own dog my whole life. Besides my own pup, I have experience watching serval different breeds of dogs (often very energetic). As well as, I have taken good care of a few very cute kitties I work a part time job where I may be away for 4-5 hours max but have a flexible schedule and will make sure to find time to help your pet feel well loved! About: I grew up around pets since before I can remember and I love hanging out with any animals! I love playing and cuddling with them! I am currently a third year at OSU home for the summer. I also work at 17 Public Square. I am open almost everyday all day besides when those shifts are scheduled. I have two medium size dogs that I play with often and are crate trained as well. Therefore I can play with them, give them breaks in their crates or anything else!

About: My pet care started when I was 6 years old, I was known as the neighborhood dog catcher. If any of my neighbor's dogs got loose/ran away they would call me to bring them back. I had a 100% success rate every time! I have a love and passion for all animals and it has shown since I could talk. I have 2 dogs of my own, a snake, and fish! One of my dogs is reactive and I have taken online reactivity classes to recognize dog body language and how to work with triggers, so the "problem" dogs are no problem to me! My other dog is a senior so I also have personal experience with senior care and taking things slower for the seasoned pups. All dogs are welcome here! I have very flexible availability and I am willing to work with everyone on getting dates and times that work best for their pets needs! I pay attention to body language and focus on providing a calm and nurturing environment where your pet feels safe and loved. I carefully follow directions and make sure you have total peace of mind while your pet(s) are in my care!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I grew up in a home with 3 dogs at all times. We have had a range of small pups, and also big/high energy ones like golden retrievers and huskies! I did obedience classes and shows with my Yorkee Poo for 4 years. I have provided dog sitting for close family friends for many years now, including walks, feeding, bathing, transporting (for a dog breeder), and boarding. I also raised five husky puppies, so I have a lot of experience with young pups, too. Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine because I work from home while starting my own business, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins and walks any day of the week. I grew up with pets as a daily part of life, so caring for them feels familiar, natural, and genuinely fulfilling. Whenever I am caring for pets in a client's home, I make sure to follow any specific direction given by the pet owners. Whether that is s feeding schedule, regular walks, cuddles, or crating, I always make sure to understand a client's expectations and take care of their animals with the same love and care that they would.

About: I love all animals and I love nature. I’ve had hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, donkeys, and horses. I live in the country and have a big yard to play with animals. I’m 45 years old and have had animals of my own since I was 18. I am a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to babysit your precious animal. I don’t have my own kennels, so I ask that you bring one for your animal. I will only be babysitting 2 or less animals a day, so I will be able to keep close watch on yours! I have two 13 year-old boys that love to play with animals too! We own a 5-bedroom house with plenty of room.
