I have lots of free time to care for your pets! I care for every pet as if they were my own. In a client’s home, I follow their normal routine and any specific instructions they provide for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and bedtime. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and a clean and comfortable space. I also give pets the time they need to feel comfortable with me and always respect their personality and boundaries. Our days typically include: 🌅 Morning Your pet will start the day with a potty break, fresh water, breakfast, and some playtime or a walk. They’ll have plenty of attention before settling into a relaxed part of the day. ☀️ Midday I work two days a week, but your pet will never be left without a plan. My husband works less than a mile from our home, so he can easily stop by during the workday to let your pet outside, play with them, and give them some extra attention. 🐕 Afternoon On days I’m home, we’ll have additional potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your pet’s age, energy level, and normal schedule. 🌙 Evening Evenings include dinner, outdoor time, playtime or a walk, and relaxing family time. We’ll finish the night with a final potty break before bedtime. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, potty, medication, and sleeping routines so their stay feels as familiar as possible. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your pet should feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for—not like they’re just being boarded I have a huge backyard to run and play in if your pet is able. We also have neighborhoods around us to go for long or short walks for exercise. I have no problem with your pet being on the furniture if that is what they are used to. There are currently no other animals in the house, so your pet will get undivided attention. There is an electric fence on our property, but will only be used if the pets’ parent prefers to use it.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. We always had a dog or two growing up along with a few cats throughout the years. Star was a 14 year old lab mix rescue that we had since she was 4 months old, who passed in February 2023. I have a 9 year old Blue Healer, Bella, and a 10 year old Rottweiler, Layla who passed away in August 2023. They are like my children even though I have 3 children who range in age from 15-23. I walk Bella, take her to the lake or the dog park or to walk around any of our local parks but she doesn’t like to go as far in her older years. I am on a schedule with giving medication to my pets along with treats and regular brushing. Star would only play with me with a tennis ball and Layla would play with anyone but only with a specific toy so I am well versed in picky dogs. Star also slept in bed with me but Layla preferred her crate even after she was trained, she just enjoyed her own space and would go in it when she is ready for bed. Bella rotates and sleeps with one of us each night. Addison is my middle child and has gone with me for the last couple of years and earned the trust of many of my clients to fill in for me when I am not available. She is a senior at Fitch and is going to attend Slippery Rock in the fall. I will let you know if she will need to assist in any of the visits prior to accepting your request. We do a meet and greet with the two of us to ensure that your pet is comfortable with us prior to finalizing any visits. That is a little about us and our experience. This has been an amazing journey and opened up my schedule to care for animals again. I will keep my schedule updated for my availability for the current month and my schedule for the following month is released on the 15th. If you are planning ahead please let me know the dates and times your furbabies would need me and I’ll be able to request it off. I will treat them with all the love and respect as if they were my own but follow your guidelines for care. That will include walks, playtime, feeding schedules, treats and or any special medications or care needed. If I should need to crate your pet for safety to transport them at your request I can do that as well. Your pets safety and comfort will always be a number one priority. If you are interested in house sitting and will need me to be in the home continuously for more than 6 hours or to stay overnight please message me to discuss as this could affect your rate. I have never had an issue with safety, trust or environment when it comes to any part of my life. I do currently board animal in my home on a limited basis depending on the dog and my schedule during that requested boarding time. I use a hands free leash with a bungee to make walks more comfortable for the dogs and safer when I am cleaning up after them on walks. I do prefer they use a harness and I have had great success with reforming dogs that would pull during walks to now pleasant walkers just by positive reinforcement. Entry and exit to your home is done according to your needs. I have clients that do it many different ways and your comfort and safety along with that of your pet is always a priority.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other animals (snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, tarantulas) for about 18 years. I’ve always had pets and friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away. I’ve owned cats with kidney disease and my dog has an autoimmune disease, so I have experience with taking care of sick animals. I’m able to administer oral medications, ear and eye drops/cleaning, subcutaneous fluids. I’m a registered nurse currently working part time night shift at the hospital, but I make time to care for my own dog and cat. On my days off, I have plenty of time to care for other animals! I can only do drop-in visits, walks, or doggy day care/boarding at my home as I can’t stay nights away from my own animals. I would always want to do meet and greets first to make sure my animals get along with clients, but I can accommodate separating them in my house between the upstairs and finished basement.

About: Hello! I’m Vee. I’ve worked with pets for most of my life and have had a deep respect for animals as far back as I could remember. I used to cry over the dead birds our barn cat would kill as a child. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, and have even helped rehab two baby squirrels. Each animal is different and deserves the care they need to feel cherished. I’m currently in grad school for social work so want to make the most of my free time by doing what I love: working with animals. Right now my availability is pretty open and I have the flexibility to work around your schedule. :) Your furry family members will be treated with the utmost care during their stay. I want them to feel as relaxed and stress free as possible but I know some new environments can be a little scary. I always use a sound machine at night with soothing music to ease any anxiety (and usually lots of pets and treats too!). My preference is that dogs are crated at night to help ease anxiety (and to prevent any night time shenanigans) but if your dog is unfamiliar with a crate that’s no problem. I can try working with them on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement or I can set up a comfy spot for them in our guest bedroom. Please please please let me know if your pet has any issues with potty training. I will 100% adjust to their needs and take them out as often as necessary to avoid any accidents. :)

About: Growing up I always had dogs. They were always considered another member of our family. We always trained our own puppies. I've taken care of family members dogs before and puppy sitted in the past. I am a dog mom of two dogs currently. I love dogs and their unique personalities. I love to be outdoors so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I'm available evenings during the week and all day on Friday through Sunday. But im always flexible so just let me know what you need and we can work things out to fit your pets needs. Making them feel at home and loved will be my number one priority. I have a fenced in yard and 2 fur babies that will keep your dogs company. Or I can easily crate your dog if needed or I can separate them from my fur babies in another fenced in area. Whatever you prefer I can arrange.
