“Natalie dropped in on our rambunctious Ridgeback puppy for several days and took great care of him. He really liked her and beside the normal activities to feed, water, potty and play, she took great pics which were posted in Rover's report card. We really appreciated her being available for Clancy with little notice, really helped us out. We'll definitely request her again and would recommend her to others.”

“Sydney is definitely an experienced and intuitive "dog person"! I was nervous about finding someone that my new 15 year-old rescue dog would be comfortable with -- but Sydney's calm, gentle approach immediately put Ray at ease and he was licking her hand by the end of our meet & greet. She's kept me updated with photos and has been great to communicate with as I learn how to use the Rover app. Highly recommend her!”

“Elizabeth was beyond amazing!!! She went above and beyond to take care of my kitty. He has a medical condition but she not only gave him his oral meds but ensured that every precautionary step was taken to make sure he was okay. She sent the best pictures, too!! I don’t trust many with my fur baby but I absolutely would book her again! Thank you, Elizabeth!!!”

“Heather was amazing! She watched our three cats for us while we were on vacation for a week. She was great about sending photos and updates and she actually spent time with them. When we got back the litter box was cleaned and the cats were happy and healthy. I highly recommend Heather ❤️”

“Marian was fantastic! She provided regular updates with photos and gave our kitty plenty of love and attention. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat and are so grateful for her excellent care!”

“Layla was great! My lab had fun playing fetch with her. She was prompt and left good, informative notes. I really appreciated the pictures, too. It was reassuring knowing my pup was being well cared for.”

“Ellise does an excellent job. Always on time and takes great care of the dogs as requested. I would leave a generous tip, but I'm not sure if Rover would actually pay it to her. Have heard from different sitters now how Rover doesn't compensate their people very well, if at all.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love all dogs! I'm a college student home for the summer, so I'm trying to make some extra cash. I love dogs, so I'm excited to love on other people's pups! I'm currently taking online courses and enjoying my summer, so I don't have a job. I'll be able to watch and check on your dogs whenever I can. This is a side gig to help pay for college and love on some dogs! I know all the necessary skills to watching a dog. Letting/taking them out to use the restroom, making sure they have water/food, walking them, playing with them, loving on them, and securing them in a kennel or crate. I'm a dog person and have had multiple dogs in my life, so I'm well versed in taking care of dogs.

“We rebooked Brooke for a 10-day, three times (1-hour each) per day visit. With 3 large dogs left at home alone it could be like the Xmas movie so we opted to play it safe. She walked them, fed, played, picked up poop, changed water, arranged bedding. Our large German Shepard howls (happy) when he sees her and runs to her for pets and back rubs. We also have a standard poodle that is high energy and Brooke kept her running while hiking and worked on recall. Our lab makes excuses for the other two and commiserates with Brooke at their wanderings. Our heating unit went out and she set up portable heaters and kept watch on the temperature levels until we got back. Highly recommend. She really likes dogs and you know what is said…if my dog doesn’t like you we can’t be friends. You’ll be friends.”

About: Hi there! We’re Lauren and Jensen, a pet sitting couple duo dedicated to giving your furry family members twice the care, love, and attention, all for the price of one sitter! We’ve both grown up surrounded by animals. Lauren currently has a dog and previously cared for a cat, while Jensen has had a lifelong bond with both cats and dogs. Together, we now share our home with our beloved cat, Pebbles, the heart of our little family. Between us, we bring 9 years of combined pet-sitting experience. Jensen also has 3 years of hands-on dog training expertise, working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Lauren has volunteered for over a year at the Spokane Humane Society, where she gained valuable experience with animals of all kinds and personalities. As a team, we’re committed to making your pet’s time away from you as calm, comforting, and stress-free as possible. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meals, or cuddles, we’ve got it covered and then some! We’d love to meet you and your pets! Lauren and Jensen both work part-time, which gives us plenty of flexibility to provide dedicated, hands-on care for your pets. We understand that each pet has their own routine and personality, and we’re committed to following your instructions closely to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free while you're away. We’re always willing to go the extra mile — whether that means sticking to a detailed schedule, providing extra playtime, or sending photo updates for peace of mind. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are our top priorities, and we’ll treat them like part of our own family. In our home, we go above and beyond to care for our pets, making sure they feel deeply loved, safe, and valued every single day. From cozy naps and belly rubs to play sessions and special treats, our pets are truly spoiled and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Animals have such beautifully short lives, and we believe it’s our responsibility to make every moment joyful and meaningful for them. When your furry friend stays with us, we’ll treat them with the same level of care and affection we give our own. Whether it’s keeping to their routine, offering comfort during quiet moments, or making time for extra play and cuddles, we’ll ensure their stay is as relaxing, fun, and stress free as possible while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom of 5 years. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet like family—and that’s exactly what I do. Whether it’s a walk around the block, playtime in the yard, or cozy cuddle sessions, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them the same care and attention I give my own pup! Pet care is already a natural part of our daily routine! We have a golden retriever named Sadie, so feeding, walking, playing, and making sure she feels loved and cared for is just part of our everyday life. My kids love helping too, which adds an extra set of hands (and hearts). Adding another pet into the mix—whether for a day or a week—fits right in with our rhythm. We enjoy the routine, and it brings us joy to care for animals and make them feel safe and at home. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family—with patience, attention, and lots of love. In my home, pets have a cozy, kid-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel at ease. I keep to their normal routines as much as possible—feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions you provide. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make sure to respect your space and follow your guidelines closely to help your pet feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. Whether it’s keeping things clean, giving medications, or just offering extra snuggles, I’m always focused on making pets feel loved and owners feel at ease.

About: Hi, I’m Laura! I have been living in the the Wandermere area for the past 25 years with a lifelong passion for animals. I’ve had the joy of owning and caring for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, and horses. I have obedience trained my Afghan hound years ago and began horse riding lessons at age 9. These days, I’m joined by my 9-year-old American Bulldog, Penny, who is my loyal companion. Although I’ve been pet-sitting for friends and family for years, I’ve recently decided to expand my services on Rover to stay active and continue doing what I love. I’m especially passionate about pet nutrition and healthcare—particularly for senior animals—and I have extensive experience with administering medications and supplements to help them thrive in their golden years. I have a lot of flexibility with scheduling. I have reliable transportation and am happy to provide as many visits as your pets need throughout the day. I am a calm and patient handler of animals and enjoy getting to know each pet's unique quirks and mannerisms. I love dogs of all sizes, but likely would not be the best fit for large dogs who jump up on guests or pull hard on a leash. However, I’m always willing to care for pets that match my pace, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away.

About: I treat every animal like my own. I go the extra mile to make sure your animal feels safe, loved and happy while you’re away! I currently have an open schedule and I would be available mornings, afternoons and evenings for walks, playtime and cuddles with your furry friends so they feel loved always! They get plenty of attention, exercise and play through out the day. I make sure to keep parents updated and send pictures and messages so they know there furry friend is happy.

About: I have taken care of animals from a young age. Starting with the basic chores of watering, feeding, bathing, walking, and most importantly loving. I have been around all types of animals my entire life. I helped run a rescue for a short time taking in puppies and kittens, all the way to elderly dogs and cats. Our animals are a part of our family, and that is how yours will be treated. So, if your dog isn't allowed on the couch or bed let us know ahead of time to ensure bad habits aren't brought home. Basic house manners will be enforced. This allows me to keep a safe environment for everyone. House manners include door manners, food manners, and jumping on people/counters. Safety is our number one concern! We do not accept aggressive dogs at this time. I have a work from home occupation that allows me the freedom to ensure that your four-legged best friend will be watched over, have plenty of play time, access to frequent potty breaks if needed. We have an approx. 3500 SQFT, 6ft fully fenced in back yard with two very friendly dogs that will keep yours entertained for hours. We live near an elementary school that we frequent when school is out for free running and fetch, if free running isn't your style and you prefer a leashed walk, please just remember to bring their walking gear. If you would like to have your dogs crated, we can accommodate for that as well. No need to haul over that extra-large kennel your pup sleeps in (if they do), we have two extra ones for your convenience. Outside on our back patio we have a kiddie swimming pool for those hotter days, access to plenty of water and shade, and of course the AC inside. All outside time will be supervised to ensure the best safe play environment possible. We have two children (12 and 14) whose love for animals surpasses ours, the youngest stating that she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. We have 2 dogs, Lincoln (4 1/2 yo, Border Collie/Lab/Boxer mix approx. 70lbs) and Lexi (4 1/2 yo, German Sheppard/Siberian Huskey mix approx. 45lbs) So, rest assured your furry pal will be well loved, entertained, and taken care of! We do have two cats in the home as well, Axel is 4 and Pippy is 1. Both are great with dogs, and generally keep to themselves unless they want to cuddle. It will be a must that your dog isn't aggressive towards cats for a successful stay. Our house is a Tri-Level, with 3 different sets of stairs. Mostly carpeted, however we do have some LVP flooring in our kitchen and have laid down runners to prevent slips. Feeding will be separate as a safety precaution for everyone.

“Michael was great with our kitties, sent us tons of photos and took great care of the litter box, food dishes and bringing our paper in. We will definitely use him again!”

“I highly recommend Meghan for your pet care needs. She went above and beyond my expectations while she cared for my chickens and five barn cats while I was away. I changed my schedule multiple times and she very accommodating and understanding. She is super friendly, professional and knowledgeable about pets and livestock. I will definitely use her again when I go out of town. Thank you Meghan!”

Abagail F.
“I’ve had the pleasure of watching Abby interact with dogs, and I can confidently say she would be an outstanding dog walker. Abby has always taken amazing care of her own dogs, Tucker and Buster—giving them not just the essentials, but true love, attention, and a happy, active lifestyle. The way she treats them is a clear reflection of how she approaches all animals: with patience, kindness, and genuine care. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing exercise or a more timid dog who needs gentle encouragement, Abby intuitively understands what each dog needs and adjusts her approach accordingly. She’s reliable, responsible, and always goes the extra mile to make sure every walk is a positive experience. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Abby is absolutely the one to trust.”
