“In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

About: I have had many opportunities to pet-sit for family and friends. I have had experience administering medication, taking dogs on walks, feeding small newborn puppies, doing check-ins, and having long overnight stays at others' houses. I have looked after dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs over the last ten years or so. I'm currently working and/or in class Monday through Thursday in the early afternoon from 10:30am to 12:30pm and Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 to 8pm. I am available any other time to come check in on pets! I have two dogs in my house at the moment. I have a Corgi named Sanji and a dachshund-beagle mix named Kiba. About: Hi, I'm Mandy. Although I am new to using the Rover App, I am not new to caring for dogs. I grew up on a farm and lived with dogs all my life (lab, rat terriers, blue heeler, multiple mixed breeds). I currently have two playful poodle mixes (Cookie & Nacho) and before them, I had a French Bulldog (Prince) for 14 happy years. I love all kinds of dogs. Due to the setting I offer, small to medium sized dogs will enjoy it here the best. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate special requests for boarding with enough advanced notice. I work from home, and I am home on most weekends. With two small dogs of my own, I will be around for feeding and potty breaks, and of course, play! I also have two kids (ages 6 & 11) that like to help and play. It's a very "PawSitive Vibes" environment around here ☺️. The yard area has plenty of shade, space to relax, run or play and is fully enclosed with a tall wood fence. Dogs that stay will be allowed to roam free inside my home along with the two dogs that I have. If your dog has any special care needs, just let me know how I can accommodate. My home has all hard floors so if an accident happens, I don't get worried about that. 🙌 My 2 dogs are up to date on all typical, vet recommended vaccinations, for everyone's health and safety. This is just a friendly reminder to all of my current and future clients: While I do my best to keep a clean and pest free space, I also count on my clients to help with that effort by keeping vaccinations current for their pets too. These include: vaccines for rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DHPP (which protects against distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus).

About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue for about 2 years and I have a puppy who I trained and have cared for in the past year. I also have had cats all my life and have fostered pregnant kitties until their kittens were old enough to be adopted. I am currently at home most days, so long as I have some advanced notice I should be able to make anything work. The more time I have the more likely I am to be able to fit you in. I have a wide variety of leashes, dog toys, treats, and other supplies that I can use when working with your pets or I can work with their existing favorites if that is what is prefered. About: I am a stay at home mom with two kids that loves animals and we have a black lab! Our lab has had two litters so my home is set up for any size and type of dog. We have a big back yard with tall fences and a separate fenced off area in the back with a good amount of room. We love animals in this house so chilling out with us on the couch is great! And if your animal likes to be left alone we are ok with that too we have a basement that is away from the kids if they need a separate sleeping space. My dog is great with other dogs so all I ask is that your animal is good with kids and my dog😁 the dogs are free to roam around home and yard. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day except when I need to get groceries or have a doctors appointment! I have a big fenced yard with a tall wooden fence. There is also a good sized fenced in area within the back yard. If your animal needs a crate you will need to provide it. My daughter loves dogs so they need to be good with kids.

About: I have had three dogs in my life. I currently work at a doggy daycare in Kalispell Mt where I clean up after dogs, walk them, make sure each one is getting it's individual need, along with distributing medications and following feeding schedules. I have a full time job at currently, but I have most evenings/nights off. I work overnights on Mondays, 10-6 on Tuesdays, 7-3 on Wednesdays, 9-6 on Thursdays, 6:30-3 on Fridays, and an overnight on Saturdays. We have a dog and two cats here with a fenced in back yard. The two cats we have don't get along so we need to let one out and make sure the other is in. No incidents have happened and I'm very aware of the location of all the animals. I am willing to follow any special instructions for the animals that are required.
About: Hello! My name is Ella Curry and I am a nursing student in my senior year that’s missing my pets at home! I would love to meet and help some new furry friends! One of my first experiences outside of caring for my pets was caring for my neighbor's dogs while they were away for over a week. I did this for 4-5 years each summer until I moved to college. My duties for this job included: Feeding both dogs at 8 am and 6 pm every day, checking that their water was full both times I fed them, taking daily walks, and spending at least 30 mins of play time with the dogs after each feeding. I'm an animal lover who has fostered and adopted several rescue animals throughout my life. I pride myself on being patient and gentle with even the most timid or ornery of dogs. I'm currently working part-time as an AAU coach in southern Spokane! I go to Whitworth University and study nursing while also pursuing basketball. Yet we aren’t in season right now so I have extra free time to spend with your pups! If you have any safety concerns, feel free to discuss them with me at any time I will always make sure to have my phone on me so if anyone needs to get in contact with me concerning anything while I am house and/or dog sitting or simply taking your dogs for a walk I a one quick text away!

I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want!
