“Baloo had a great few days spending time with Brooke and Jason and their family. She was well cared for and made herself comfortable. We loved hearing about her day with well informed messages along with adorable pictures. We would highly recommend them and we definitely keep them in mind when Baloo needs a home away from home in the future.”

“I cannot recommend her enough! She took amazing care of Reo, and her communication was excellent. She kept me updated throughout the stay and sent me multiple pictures of how Reo was doing. I contacted her at the last minute because Reo had recently been neutered and couldn't attend daycare, and I had to go to work. She was more than willing to take care of Reo on short notice, gave him his medication, and made sure he was comfortable. Thank you so much Megan for your kindness, flexibility, and excellent care!”

“Angela was SUPER responsive and sweet with my dog! I ended up needing help 2 days before I was supposed to to out of town for the weekend and Angela was very quick to respond and help! I felt 100% comfortable leaving Charli with her and will absolutely be trusting her to watch Charli again!”

“Megan was great!! She sent regular updates and sent lots of pictures. Bella fit right in with her crew of dogs. I highly recommend if needed a pet sitter!”

“It was such a great experience with Amber during the holidays! This was our first leaving our puppy and I'm glad it was a positive experience. Amber was very accommodating, and responsive and continued to give us updates as we requested. She made sure that all of my puppy needs were met and maintained the same schedule. Thank you Amber for taking care of Simba! 🐾”

“Kelsey is wonderful and really goes above and beyond! My pup Salem has stayed with her twice now, and has been well cared for and enjoyed her stay both times! I will continue to call on her in the future!”

Let’s connect—I’d love to meet your pet and provide the care they deserve! I work a full-time job at UK and im just settling in, so if you have a furbaby that's in need of caring for because of a busy summer schedule. Book with me and dont send them to a kennel or dog day care. I have a strict no dog policy at my house as I live at home rn and my parents have 3 huskies and its chaotic as is. Will up date if changes.
“Jennifer has taken care of our Labradoodle since moving here to Lexington 2 years ago. We have been very happy because our dog is happy when he stays with her and happy when he comes home. This trip we ran into travel delays because of the storms last night here in Kentucky. Jennifer was so accommodating with our travel delays. Thank you Jennifer for taken good care of our dog.”

About: I have always had a huge love for dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities! I volunteer as a trainer with 4 Paws for Ability, where I have fostered, trained, and served as the primary handler for three dogs. Through this experience, I gained valuable skills in obedience training, puppy development, understanding dog behavior, and providing consistent, loving care. Outside of 4 Paws for Ability, I've also been a regular pet sitter for multiple families, caring for their dogs and building trusting relationships with both the pets and their owners. Both through 4 Paws and individually I've cared for dogs of all ages, including puppies as young as 8 weeks old, as well as dogs with special needs and conditions such as hip and elbow dysplasia and dogs in heat. These experiences have taught me how important it is to understand each dog's individual needs and adjust my care accordingly. One thing I especially enjoy is helping dogs maintain and build upon their existing training! I'm happy to reinforce commands, routines, and positive reinforcement techniques that families are already working on. I understand how important consistency is, especially for puppies and dogs actively learning new skills. Whether your dog is full of puppy energy, needs a little extra attention, or simply enjoys a relaxed routine, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how much trust goes into leaving your dog with someone else, and I'll always treat yours with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own! I'm currently a college student with a very flexible schedule! My classes are solely in the mornings and last no more than 2.5 hours (even when back-to-back), leaving me with plenty of time throughout the day to dedicate to pet care. I have lots of availability for walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving your pup the love and attention they deserve! My weekends are also very flexible, allowing me to spend even more quality time with your pup and accommodate longer stays. I'm always happy to work with your dog's usual routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away! Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities! I live in an apartment complex with a large, fully fenced-in dog park, providing plenty of space for exercise, playtime, and fresh air. Depending on your dog's personality and preferences, they can enjoy socializing with other dogs or have their own time to run around and play without other dogs present. I always prioritize safe interactions and will never force your pup into an environment they're uncomfortable with. I also have plenty of dog toys to keep your pup entertained, whether they love playing fetch, chewing on toys, or just having something fun to play with! I have a crate available if your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable having their own space. I'm happy to follow your dog's usual routines, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and any ongoing training. With my experience handling and training dogs, I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make sure to respect their space and maintain their dog's familiar routine as closely as possible. I also love keeping owners updated with pictures and messages so they can feel confident that their pup is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention while they're away!
About: I really try to make pets feel at home. I’ve cared for anxious pups and cats, and seniors, before, so I’m extra tuned in to their comfort and what helps them settle. I pay attention to the little things — their pace, their quirks, what makes them relax — and adjust to whatever they need. I’m patient, gentle, and I do my best to make every pet feel safe and comfortable while they’re with me. Because I work from home and keep a flexible schedule, pet care fits easily into my day. I am a dog-mom myself and my little one, Louie, loves having friends over! I’m able to offer regular potty breaks, play sessions, and lots of companionship. I maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — meals, walks, training cues, and downtime — so their stay feels familiar and comfortable. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, calm, and comfortable environment with plenty of room to explore. I have a large fenced‑in yard, which gives dogs space to play, sniff, and stretch their legs while staying secure. I keep a steady routine with regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and quiet rest. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule, training cues, and comfort needs so their stay feels familiar and stress‑free. Whether a dog loves active play or prefers gentle companionship, I adjust the pace to match their personality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their normal routines exactly as you describe them. I respect your space, your rules, and your pet’s established habits. I make sure they get consistent attention, exercise, and reassurance while you’re away. My goal is always the same in any setting: help your pet feel safe, understood, and loved.

About: Hi! My name is Kalin, and I'm someone who loves God, people, animals, and life in general! I've always been told that I'm a happy person with a big smile, and I try my best to share that happiness with everyone I meet. I have a huge heart for animals, and I'll admit, sometimes I think I love them more than people! After all, pets never judge you, and they're always there to love you no matter what kind of day you're having. When it comes to caring for your dog, I promise to treat them with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. To me, pets aren't just animals. They're family, and I treat them like my own children (if I had any!). A little fun fact about me: my absolute favorite food is pasta with marinara sauce! I could probably fill this page three times over with stories and little things about myself, but I'll spare you all that reading for now! If you'd like to get to know me better or have any questions about how I'll care for your furry family member, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I'd love to hear from you, and I hope to meet you and your sweet pup soon! God bless! Thank You For Your Business. Kalin F. I do not have a job and I do this full time. I can give your fur-baby plenty of love and care. Contact me for more information, I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can create your dog if needed. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
