“Kayla was fantastic with walking our dog Blue! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and Blue instantly bones with her! She is very friendly and even took cute photos and sent them to me during their walking adventure. I would highly recommend her services for anyone needing pet services. We will definitely use her again! ❤️”

“Heather was great, she was so good with my dog and was always detailed on the rover cards and took plenty of pictures. I didn't have to worry about leaving my pup at home knowing Heather would stop by and take care of her!”

“Soo grateful for Josh’s attention to my dog. Great with communication. I loved the updates I received and that he was willing to bring a towel from his home to dry my dog after his walk because I couldn’t find the dog towel. Look forward to continuing his services. My sister was home one day and she told me my dog loves Josh and is excited to go on his walk! Thank you Josh!”

About: I love animals!!! I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, and even horses for over 10 years. Choose me to care for your special little critter or critters, I’ll treat them like my own Most days I wake up early in the morning and let my cat inside and feed him and give him some love before I leave for school or lift. When I get back he’s usually waiting for me outside the door so we can hangout! After we’re done hanging out I clean his litter box and make sure he has his gourmet dinner that he has everyday. I take care of my cat spooky everyday by feeding him, cleaning his litter box often, deshedding him, and giving him lots of love and cuddles, and I can do the same for your critters. I care about the safety of your critters and will always be aware cautious of my surroundings while walking and taking care of them.
“Maleny is on time, kind and polite. She was very flexible with Larry's walking schedule. Larry is a big guy (1 year old male American Akita) and she wasn't worried at all. I probably caused more problem than if I'd just gotten out of her way and let her take over. Larry loves that he has a new friend and I'm excited to see how this goes. I will definately rebook Maleny. As soon as she and Larry got outside she took control and they were off.”

About: We are a duo who help others with their pets! My name is Desiree, and my partner’s name is Tyler. We are adventurous! Often, we fill our free time with hikes, walks around cities, and exploring parks. We would love to take your dogs on these walks too! I grew up around animals—anything from rabbits, mice, cats, and dogs to some exotics like raccoons. As a kid, I would rehabilitate animals like deer or wild rabbits. I feel we need to look out for our little friends, as the world is hard for everyone. Being kind is important to me. I have experience with basic dog training, teaching good leash behavior, and giving extra care to older dogs! I'm comfortable with giving medicine, or going the extra mile to help upkeep their health, may it be brushing teeth, giving baths, or grooming. Our goal is to provide the best, and perfect routine for your pets while you're away that would match closely to what you would do in your daily life to assure max comfort for your animals. We currently go to school online, so we are very flexible with our time and since two of us are on duty, we can always give attention! We mainly care for them in your home, and this is very flexible to how you would want them cared for. We love to follow exact instructions, or approximate instructions. Whichever you want to provide. We want your trip away from home to be stress free, and confident your pet is getting treated with the utmost care and love.

I love animals and am very excited at the chance to be around them more! I have a fenced yard and my own dog as well who gets along great with everyone. I have crates if needed and a park very close to run some energy out!
About: Hi! I'm Shealee, and I've always had a heart for animals. I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I maintain clean spaces, follow detailed care instructions, and communicate consistently to ensure peace of mind.

About: I’ve pet sat for over 10 years for friends & family. I’d love to care for yours. I have two tabby’s who are well trained and have been around dogs in the past. My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have the weekend free, Columbia and I tend to go on hikes and or at the park. During the week, I go home directly to let my own dog out to the bathroom. I will follow any instructions following your pet. I understand how important consistency is. We have a side yard for playing, potty breaks or sunbathing.
About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!
“Astrid took great care of my pups and helped them be secure and happy while I was out of town. When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I appreciate Astrid’s sensitivity and creativity and skill in interacting with my two dogs who are quite different from one another in energy level so that they both get their needs met for activity and exercise and affection.”
“My new favorite person, the most patient and kind soul. She worked so hard to get my puppy comfortable and to come out of her kennel on her own. Took lots of pictures and eased my worries. So unbelievably grateful for her extra care.”

About: I have been taking care of cats, dogs, birds, fishes, and pet rodents since I was five. I also used to work at Lost Our Home Pet Foundation with Focus Employment Services during 2016. I went to Vet Camp during Summer 2013. I have treated all the pets with love, care, and respect. I had learned how to groom animals when I was a kid by my grandmother then again in highschool at Red Mountain High School while taking animal science and vet science. I also got more into grooming different animals when I went to Vet Camp up in Kayenta, Az. I've grew up around cats and dogs while helping my family take care of their pur babies. Growing up I would alao take care of the stray cats that would visit time to time, always leaving clean water for them. I had my first first pur baby (Princess Cinnimon) when I was in elementry 5th grade after my cousin let me cat sit at my home with her 3 pur babies (Midnight, Cinnomin, and AJ). My first cat sitting job was the summer before 4th grade as my aunt went on vaction and my mom was house sitting leaving me in charge of the cats (Pumpkin and Boots). Before this I would visit my family and help take care of the cats and play with them while I was there. At friends' houses I would help them bath, groom, feed, and overall take care of their cats. While visiting (vacation) Beaverton I helped the hosts while there cats (heath, feeding, and playing) especially when they left for a trip. As I grew up with my mom's cat (Tigger was a stray) I showed I was ready for my own. My first cat was Princess Cinnimon (from my cousin) which later I got Cookie (from my friend's family). As time went on I would help my friend's and my family with their pets (including cats) while also taking care of mine and strays. When I decided to be a Vet Tech I work with Focus Group at Lost Our Homes Foundation taking care of cats before getting trained to work with the dogs as well. There I would clean and sanitize their rooms, litter box (fresh box), restock litter boxes, clean cages, change their blankets and towels, give clean bowls, fresh water, give them their food, brush their trees, brush their fur, wash their bowls, wash their blankets and towels, give out treats, play, spend quality time with each of the cats in the rooms, and notify the staff if something was wrong with their health. At times I was their jungle gym especially in the kitten room. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets, baby or babies, from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. If need be I can take care of them over night as well. I will take videos and pictures of them and follow all your instructions. I will give them fresh water in a clean bowl and make sure they have food. I will take them on walks, for dogs, and play with them, for all playable pets. I will also give you updates and notify you if something is wrong. I treat all pets like they are family, give them love, and my undivided attention. Also I will make sure to bath them if you wish for me to do so. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets (baby or babies) from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. I like to keep it as close to their normal routine in order to not cause stress/ discomfort. For all pets my main important rolls is their complete health, complete safety, and feelings. Keeping an eye on them and sending picture or videos is an important roll to provide you (the owner/ parent) clearity and reasurance. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
