My Jessie has separation anxiety, which I is why I bring her to daycare. She did very well with Lidia and Lidia's sweet, mellow dog. I will definitely bring her there again.

Liz and Jeffrey were so wonderful with Lola and Daisy! It was fairly last minute and they were incredibly understanding. They provided a lot of information about their home and care that made me feel so much better about dropping my girls off with them. They even got to attend the eclipse viewing party with some fabulous kids!! They provided lots of updates and videos which helped me enjoy a long day at work. One of the best Rover experiences I've ever had, if not the very best!!

My dog Melo stayed with Nicholas today for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I never had to worry because Nicholas kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. From the moment we arrived, I could tell he was knowledgeable about dogs—he let Melo take the lead in introductions and gave him the space to warm up at his own pace. Melo also had an absolute blast playing with Nicholas’ dog, which made the day even better. I would highly recommend Nicholas and will definitely be booking with him again!

About: I love all types of dogs, and I care for them all equally. I believe that dogs should be treated with care and trained with patience. I ask that all the owners give me a little bit of background about yourself that way I know that this dog is in a great and loving home. I currently have a 5month old German Shepard Puppy. Her name is Dime, she is about 50lbs, she is in level two of her pulpy class at Petco, she’s learning and picking up new lessons very swiftly and I can’t wait until she gets older. I have very great experience with dogs as well as other animals but I have to say my love for dogs is unmatched. Thank you.

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.

I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!

Karla was absolutely amazing with Sausage. Sausage is a very elderly dog with mobility and anxiety issues and Karla was able to care for and watch over him with patience and persistence, trying multiple ways to calm and soothe him until he was eventually able to settle down. I don’t trust my little pup with just anyone, and Karla never once gave me reason to worry. Clear communication from the get-go with multiple updates throughout the stay. I can’t say enough good things about Karla. We will definitely be asking her to watch Sausage again in the future!

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

So easy and comforting. Madeline has a lovely home and my pup took to her right away. It sounds like everyone had a nice time. It feels like such a luxury to be able to leave her with someone and not worry at all. That was my experience. Next time I'm in Baltimore with Phifer I'll be contacting Madeline.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Brooklyn Park on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 2,585 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Brooklyn Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Brooklyn Park commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,585 sitters in Brooklyn Park, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
