“Megan was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with our two dogs, Nelson and Kodie! Both can be energetic at times and both like lots of cuddles which they both received the entire stay. She followed the schedule perfectly and put our minds at ease! Communication was GREAT! Megan kept us informed of their daily activities from the time they woke up until they went to bed (including mealtimes, play time and cuddle time). She sent GREAT photos (AND I MEAN GREAT) the photos were picture perfect for magazines!! :) Megan was reliable and adjusted to our schedule with drop off and pick up. When the dogs ran out of the canned food, she offered and picked some up for us! How nice! :) At pick up both dogs were happy and well taken care of! BUT what touched my son and I the most is we were going through our pets bag and found Megan had placed a gift bag for Nelson and Kodie that consisted of a card, plush dog toy, and dog treats! WHAT A SURPRISE- We are STILL SMILING!!! :) THANK YOU MEGAN VERY NICE MEETING YOU AND WE ROVER PET PARENTS WILL BE RETURNING!!! :)”

I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. While they are my family dogs and not currently living with me, I’ve been involved in their care my entire life, often handling walks and daily responsibilities, especially when my parents were at work and I took on most of their care. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like my own and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities! I work in the office Monday through Wednesday from 9:00–4:30, so my availability is a bit more limited during those days. However, I’m available during evenings on those days for walks or drop-ins. I work from home full-time so I am able to take the pets out for walks, or cater to their needs if some pets struggle with separation anxiety. I am also an active person, so I like to go outside and go on walks and hikes. If I had a high energy dog, I would incorporate them into my workout routine, for example, go one or 2 mile run or play fetch at the park to help them burn out some of that energy. For the pets that will be in my home I have access to a small park across the street and a fenced patio for quick potty brakes and short release of energy breaks. For longer breaks there is a park that I would take them to. That is a three minute drive where we can go out runs and play fetch. I also given the necessary grooming material will be able to brush them and bathe them if they were to become dirty in my care. I am pet sitting at the client home it would. I would need to know what the pet routine are In would become familiar with finding nearby parks and activities for what the pet and I can do.
About: I love spending time with animals of all sorts! I took care of our family dog for fourteen years and frequently dog-sat and cat-sat for friends. I also volunteered at the animal shelter in college, gaining all sorts of animal caretaking skills. I love spending time with cats and dogs, young and old, no matter what, I'm sure we'll get along. I always treat every animal with love and compassion as if they were my own pet. I love playing with animals or taking them on long walks. Currently, I have availability on Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends. I am pretty flexible in scheduling and type of care needed. I can potentially spend time in the evening with your animal on Wednesdays as well! I am very loving and also energetic! If your animal is up to play or go on a walk I will be their best friend. I am also always up for spending time with a pet who loves to relax!
