“Taylor was very communicative and sent pictures of our dogs every day. We were out of the country and felt really comfortable knowing she was looking after our dogs. Definitely recommend!”

“I was 100% satisfied with Emily providing drop-in visits for my cats while I was out of town. I returned to everything in perfect shape and 3 very happy cats. She even brought in a package for me that arrived unexpectedly. Will definitely be booking with Emily in the future.”

About: I've taken care of family pets since I was old enough to help out! I've taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, fancy rats, fish... Pretty much any type of animal! I do walks, overnight sitting, and check-ins. My family and friends can attest to my experience and talent in caring for all creatures, big and small. I'm currently searching for a full-time job, but as of now my schedule is completely open! I can do weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I maintain a friendly and open relationship with pets, meeting them where they're at rather than forcing them to come to me. I will always maintain any recommendations or schedules given to me to ensure that I give your pets the best care possible. I will also always obey house rules and ensure that me and your fur baby leave your home just as it was when you left!
“William was great. He dropped in on my 3 dogs, sent pics, and updates during the weekend. I felt very comfortable that my dogs were being looked after by him. I would definitely recommend William and will be contacting him for future drop ins.”

About: Rover! Profile Hi everyone! My name is Rachel and I'm excited to announce that I now offer dog walking and drop-in pet care in Sanford, NC, and the surrounding areas! With nearly 20 years as a veterinary assistant and a vet tech degree from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh in 2009, I’ve dedicated my career to animal care. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, exotics, and farm animals like chickens, goats, sheep, and a few horses. I’ve also been a professional detection K9 handler for over nine years, mainly working with Labradors, but I have also worked with other breeds such as Coonhounds and German Shepherds. I do have experience with other types of breeds when it comes to detection work, in the fields of search and rescue or even in a hospital or clinic setting while working in veterinary medicine. Services include: 🐕 Dog Walking 🐾 Drop-In Visits 💊 Medication Administration 🦴 Care for Senior or Special Needs Pets 🐈 Cat Care Throughout the years, I have pet sit and drop in to check on animals of friends, family, coworkers, bosses, and friends of friends. I loved meeting and getting to know everyone's pets I have watched several times over the years. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my priority. Whether they need checked in on after a surgery or procedure while you are gone, a quick bathroom break, exercise, medication or extra love, I’m here to help. I’m experienced with administering medications—including oral medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids—and caring for pets with health issues or disabilities, including several of my own. Whether post-surgery care or medication management while you're away, you can rely on. I bring experience from both shelter/animal control environments and veterinary care, working with cats of all ages—from kittens to seniors with medical needs. I’ve cared for cats in both clinical and in-home settings, including those requiring treatment for a variety of conditions, many of which were my own personal pets. I am comfortable administering oral medications and injections, and I focus on keeping each cat as calm and stress-free as possible during care. I will do everything I can to make your cat or multiple cats/kittens feel safe and loved while you are away, just like I would for my own cats at home. I take pride in building trust and forming relationships, especially with more reserved or sensitive cats, so they feel safe and comfortable during each visit. At home, I have 8 dogs, 3 cats, a dwarf hamster, and 6 hermit crabs. Some are working dogs, others retired or couch potatoes. I love caring for all of them and will treat your pet like family—spoiling them during walks or dinner unless you prefer otherwise. Send me a message for meet and greats or bookings. I remain attentive to behavior, safety, and environmental factors at all times, creating a secure and positive experience.

About: My family always had dogs growing up, including heelers, chihuahuas and Shi tzu’s! I now have 2 of my own, a 1 year old pitty mix named Charlie and a 5 month old golden named Marley. I make my own schedule so I have plenty of time for all pet related task! I often dog sit and do drop in visits for family and friends. I’m currently working part time, making my own schedule so I have lots of free time. Most of my day revolves around caring for my own dogs. They’re up early for breakfast, from there they enjoy walks and playing in the dog park. My 1 year old pitty mix Charlie LOVES naps after playing, so we do have a good bit of down time throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced in yard, my apartment complex offers a 24/7 dog park that my dogs enjoy. I also have a large crate if that’s something that you would like for your pet. My girls enjoy a day filled with treats, walks, toys and play time.
“Very thankful for Kei taking care of my pup. I appreciate everything that you did. You were amazing with him. You could swing back at any time. Leave the key under the mat if I’m not there and I will definitely use you again pleasurable experience.”

About: I have been taking care of pets as long as I can remember. Growing up in Jacksonville, my family always had big dogs. I was always eager to take the pups for some long walks by the beach. I became the go-to in the neighborhood for taking care of the local pets. I had so much love for all the local dogs. Then dogs turned into cats, fish, and even a turtle! After I moved to Tampa to complete my degree at USF, my love for animals never changed. I was frequently the friend to call for a mid-day walk or an after school check-in. I have an unwavering love for animals! I have the energy and patience for new pups, and I have years of personal experience giving the gentle love for older dogs. I would be so honored and excited to spread the love to your furry friends! I will prioritize your pet's safety and best interest, and I will make sure our time together will be nothing but positive! I am recently moved to NC to pursue my Master’s degree part time. I have tons of open availability for your furry friends aside from Tuesday evenings when I’m in class. Hang tight with me during this transition! Need something early in the morning? I have always been an early riser. I am happy to work with what is best for you and your pets. First and foremost, I want to respect the boundaries you create in your home. I will ensure we create an open line of communication to make sure you are comfortable and confident with me entering your space. I want you and your pets to feel safe with me around. I am prompt- as I understand the importance of sticking to an established routine in decreasing pets' anxiety. I will remain consistent in meeting any special needs or particular preferences of you and your pets. If any medication administration is necessary, I am comfortable with doing so, and I will stick to best practices. I always appreciate any feedback in how I can create a better experience all around.
