About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and taking care of them! Currently, I am caring for my 2 cats and leopard gecko! I only work weekends so I am free all weekdays to be able to take care of your pets! I am no longer able to do house sitting because I now have a baby to take care of, but if they are good with kids and cats, your pet is more than welcome to come stay with us! I do prefer having the option to crate so if issues do arise or if I need to step out, I can do so easily.

About: Although we are new to the area, we are definitely not new to caring for dogs. We recently purchased the well-known dog kennel in Smithsburg and are in the process of restoring it. Parts of the kennel are already fully functional, and we’re excited to begin welcoming dogs while we continue improving the property. It’s a place many people in the community already know, and we feel lucky to be able to carry on its history. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with them and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t love being around them. That same love has followed me into adulthood. Over the years I’ve naturally become the neighborhood go-to pet sitter. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I always care for them the same way I care for my own dogs — with patience, attention, and lots of affection. One of the things I’m most proud of is the therapy work I did with my dog. I trained and certified her as a therapy dog, and for 10 years we volunteered together in hospitals and nursing homes. That experience actually inspired my career path, and I went on to become a certified occupational therapist. My sweet therapy dog has since passed away after a long and wonderful life. She was incredibly special to me. I’m now starting that journey again with my new puppy, Merango, and hope to continue therapy work in the future. Right now I’m taking some time away from my occupational therapy work to focus on renovating and restarting the kennel. It’s something I’ve always dreamed about doing, and I’m excited to bring new life to a place that so many people in the community already know. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including giving medications like insulin injections. Our property has large outdoor fenced runs that give dogs plenty of space to move around and enjoy the fresh air in a quiet farm setting. injections. I’m currently focused on renovating and restoring the kennel property, which allows me to be home most of the day and provide consistent supervision and care for the dogs staying with us. We are early risers in our home and typically start the day around 7 AM with potty breaks and breakfast. Mornings are usually spent outside enjoying the property — going on walks around our 20-acre farm or spending time in the fenced runs while I do morning chores. Around lunchtime everyone, animals included, usually settles in for a quiet rest period. I check that everyone has fresh water and food if needed before nap time. In the mid-afternoon we head back outside for more activity. Depending on the dog, this may include running in the fenced fields, exploring the property on a guided walk, or simply relaxing in the fresh air. Dinner is around 6 PM, followed by a calm evening inside. We finish the day with a final potty break and check-in before bedtime around 9 PM. My goal is to give dogs a peaceful farm stay with plenty of space to move, fresh air, and a consistent routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed while they’re away from home I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. When I first started using Rover for my own dogs, I remember feeling nervous too. I always appreciated sitters who kept me updated, so I make a point to do the same. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your dog is doing and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. On our property, dogs have access to spacious individual indoor/outdoor kennel runs where they can relax comfortably. We also have several large fenced areas where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. Safety is always my top priority, and dogs are supervised during outdoor time to make sure everyone stays happy and secure

About: Our home is a relaxed environment with plenty of room to wonder around and get sun light. We take 3 walks a day and run into plenty of other animals around the neighborhood and at the park. I and my wife work from home so there is always someone around! We take our dog for multiple walks a day & enjoy the playground so she can hang out with other dogs! Working from home makes things a breeze when taking care of pets! There are no issues with play time or even personal time. We adapt easily! About: I have about 10 years of experience caring for dogs. From working at a doggie daycare, to an animal hospital Ive always found myself caring for other people’s pets. I have been relied on by clients, neighbors, friends and family to take full care & responsibly over their pets. I make sure their pets are happy and comfortable while updating the owners with daily photos! While working in the daycare I got a lot of experience in supervising and caring for multiple dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being, managing playgroups, and cleaning. For working in the vet med side of things I have experience assisting veterinarians and technicians, handling animals for examinations and treatments, administering medications, and providing post-operative care. Along with the broad range of pet-sitting duties, such as feeding, walking, grooming, and providing companionship for various types of animals in different settings. My day starts super early usually with the sound of tiny paws scampering around- that’s my puppy! Pringle. We do many little walks through out the day and our evenings are dedicated to his training, playtime, long walks and cuddles. About: I have had dogs all my life and I couldn’t image my life without them. I grew up on a small farm with cows, horses, pigs, cats and rabbits so even if your furry friend isn’t a cat or dog I can still help out! I went to Animal Behavior College to be a veterinarian assistant where I did two months of an externship at two veterinarian hospitals. While stationed in Italy I walked, boarded, and set up play dates for dogs on base for two years. Then while stationed in Texas for three years I started working with Rover. Currently a stay at home mom with a part time job on the weekend so I have plenty of spare time for your loved ones! I have a nice spacious backyard and a 7 year old female rescue from Italy to play with your pups. I can crate your pups if needed or they can sleep up in our room or the girls room like our Ellie does. As for kitties I do not host them in my home but I have no problem going to your home to scratch them behind the ear, under their chin, belly or play with their toys.
