“Corrinna was watching our four babies for the first time and she went above and beyond what we expected to keep them safe and happy! We have four cats and three of them prefer to be outside as they came to us as strays. Since it was so cold the week we were away she tried her best to keep them in, even going out another door to close the door that has a cat door in it.. lol I thought that was a great idea. About: I've been taking care of indoor cats since I was 20, but I've always loved them. I used to feed the strays growing up. My first cat had a single litter of kittens before being spayed so I have experience with raising kittens as well. I currently have 3 indoor cats I care for. Two short-haired and one long-haired. About: I have personally owned cats for the past 20+ years. I rescued my first cat Amos, as a stray kitten. He was my first pet that I had on my own after moving into my first apartment. About: I am currently doing Rover part-time, I’m also working 2 other part-time jobs, however, for one of them I get to choose my own schedule. If given enough notice (usually a week) I can take off the days you’d need from one of my jobs, and then just schedule my other around it! I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and caring for them! Ive taken 2 pre-vet classes and would love to have a job working with animals full-time, no matter the job! We picked him up from Arlene and she told me that I t took a little time (an hour) to get him to settle down, but after that he had a full day of play with the other 2 dogs that were there. About: Although we are new to the area, we are definitely not new to caring for dogs. We recently purchased the well-known dog kennel in Smithsburg and are in the process of restoring it. Parts of the kennel are already fully functional, and we’re excited to begin welcoming dogs while we continue improving the property. It’s a place many people in the community already know, and we feel lucky to be able to carry on its history. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with them and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t love being around them. That same love has followed me into adulthood. Over the years I’ve naturally become the neighborhood go-to pet sitter. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I always care for them the same way I care for my own dogs — with patience, attention, and lots of affection. One of the things I’m most proud of is the therapy work I did with my dog. I trained and certified her as a therapy dog, and for 10 years we volunteered together in hospitals and nursing homes. That experience actually inspired my career path, and I went on to become a certified occupational therapist. My sweet therapy dog has since passed away after a long and wonderful life. She was incredibly special to me. I’m now starting that journey again with my new puppy, Merango, and hope to continue therapy work in the future. Right now I’m taking some time away from my occupational therapy work to focus on renovating and restarting the kennel. It’s something I’ve always dreamed about doing, and I’m excited to bring new life to a place that so many people in the community already know. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, including giving medications like insulin injections. Our property has large outdoor fenced runs that give dogs plenty of space to move around and enjoy the fresh air in a quiet farm setting. injections. We are early risers in our home and typically start the day around 7 AM with potty breaks and breakfast. Mornings are usually spent outside enjoying the property — going on walks around our 20-acre farm or spending time in the fenced runs while I do morning chores. Around lunchtime everyone, animals included, usually settles in for a quiet rest period. I check that everyone has fresh water and food if needed before nap time. In the mid-afternoon we head back outside for more activity. Depending on the dog, this may include running in the fenced fields, exploring the property on a guided walk, or simply relaxing in the fresh air. Dinner is around 6 PM, followed by a calm evening inside. We finish the day with a final potty break and check-in before bedtime around 9 PM. My goal is to give dogs a peaceful farm stay with plenty of space to move, fresh air, and a consistent routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed while they’re away from home I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. When I first started using Rover for my own dogs, I remember feeling nervous too. I always appreciated sitters who kept me updated, so I make a point to do the same. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your dog is doing and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. About: I have experience, taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens. I am willing to take care of smaller animals, such as hamsters, birds or guinea pigs as well. During the summer, I am home most days of the week. I am a full time teacher so I am off during the summer. Therefore I am very reliable and flexible with times. About: I'm certified in CPR emergency vet services and have watched dogs in my home for years. If you are working long hours and or regular hours and need someone to take care of your dog while you're at work, I'm the one. Sometimes when we leave our dogs alone at home while we work they can get into a lot of things. They can get bored. They can be destructive and they get very lonely. Most of the clients that I work with have a job work long hours and their dogs at times have torn their house, their furniture or whatever they can find completely up and then they have such a mess when they get home. We love our dogs. We love them more than anything and it's hard to come home like that. So if you're tired of it and need someone to help, I'm the one for you. I'm retired. I have two dogs that are so used to other dogs. They don't get out of my sight. Believe me. I have leashes harnesses beds. Anything they need? Lots of toys and lots of activity. I don't have a fenced-in yard but that's why I take small dogs and I can walk them two to three times a day. Whatever you would like to have done. They are allowed on my furniture and in bed with me if they happen to spend the night. They have full run of the household just like mine does. My two dogs are small and they love other dogs after their first initial visit. My dogs are used to other dogs in my house that are not mine and we all get along. Meet and greets are essential. I love animals of all kinds, but I find that dogs are my ones that I can handle the best. It gives the owner peace of mind knowing that their dog is with someone that will take good care of them. So if you need somebody like me just me know. We'll see what we can work out. Randomly I will be able to watch them overnight. If something happens you have to work late or the weather gets bad and you can't make it to my home. That's not a problem. I've got a big bed and lots of blankets and lots of pillows and lots of dog beds if that's where they like to sleep. 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on shots and flea and tick medicine. All dogs will be checked when they come to my house to make sure that there's no fleas. If they do have fleas then I will bathe them And let you know that they need flea and tick medicine before they return. I have plenty of references if you request. I’m retired and am home all day. I’m prepared ahead of time for hosting dogs. The reason I have a one-day notice is so I can prepare my house with anything I may need so that there is no leaving the dogs by theirself. All pets free roam my home. They get to sleep wherever they are used to. They are fed according to the pet parents instructions. All pets get two to three walks a day .Lots of potty breaks, water provided outside and of course inside. They get lots of hugs and treats if aloud by pet parents.

About: I took care of my shih tzu for 12 years, he recently passed of old age. I had dogs growing up but Oreo was the first that really attached to me. He whined if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me. He slept in my bed with me until he got too old to be that high up without supervision. I gave him embarassing mom haircuts for 10 years because I knew he hated the entire experience of going to the groomers and I wanted to spare him the discomfort. I was always looking for ways to make that dog more comfortable. I have experience in caring for senior dogs, so you can rest assured I will do everything I can for your senior furbabies' comfort. I'm currently working part-time weekdays caring for children but my weekends are open for watching your fur babies!! I usually wake up around 10-11am so I can be available any time after that Friday-Sunday! I always check the water after being gone to make sure there's still enough in there and that it's clean, and feed the cats 3 times a day when possible. Some days just twice usually when I have work. I am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule you have for your fur babies! I also try to brush the cats once a day to cut down on shedding. If you have brushes I am happy to give your pets all the brushin's! We also play with chew toys, cat wands, laser pointers, and socks! Whatever toys you have I'm sure we will have a blast!

About: Full disclosure I have not been paid to care for dogs yet however i did raise a puppy from a couple months to a year and worked on training. Ive also grown up with and cared for all types of dogs and dog sizes. I have cared for senior dogs as well. Bathing, walking, clipping nails, giving medication, feeding, basic training etc are all things I have experience with. I am currently waiting on a review for school, as of right now i am free any day of the week. After I start school it will only take up 4 days of the weekday and be mornings/early afternoons where i am not available. In the clients home, i will adhere to the needs/wants of care to a T such as what times to walk/play with your pets, feeding times, bathing, cleaning up as soon as possible if a mess is made, sending pictures of your pets to reassure or just because, etc. I will care for your pet as if my own, and respect any and all boundaries made.
About: I have had animals throughout my whole life. The animal I’ve had with me the longest is my 16 year old chihuahua. I’ve had him since I was 5 years old. I grew up with him and I take really good care of him. He’s very healthy and also very spoiled. As of right now I’m only doing the dog walking service and the dog and cat drop ins. I am available anytime as of right now. I will give them lots of attention and love. If they have certain times they eat at I will feed them at those times. About: **please note I have a day job that takes me away from my house M-F from 5:30am until 4:15pm…all boarded pets will be let out to potty immediately upon returning home ** I have been taken care of dogs for over 15 years. My first dog 2 when I adopted him and I cared for him until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when he passed at 10yrs old. I also raised two puppies from 8 weeks until they crossed over as well. I work full time away from home Monday thru Friday, so your pet would be alone for about 8hrs week days. I will make sure they are let out before I leave and let out again immediately once I return home. I am able to walk dogs / check in on family pets after 4:30pm on week days. I have a deck and a 6ft tall fenced in yard. I do not have small children in my home. I also do not have any other pets that may not get along with another dog. I will always care for your pet as if it were my own.
