“Tag was amazing with my two doodles while we were on vacation. He kept stellar communication and sent frequent updates and pictures. They were calm and comfortable despite being in a less familiar place in his care!”

“It was my one year olds first time with a sitter. Madison and her husband were prompt and accommodating of our schedule. I booked 2 days and figured the telltale sign would be if Mija, was reluctant to go back for day 2. She was excited to see them and happy all the way around. Thanks so much. Made our trip planning so much easier.”

“Rich and Dee were so wonderful with our dog, Staley. I felt super comfortable leaving her with them for the day. Communication was excellent (before, during and after) and they were super accommodating even when I booked last minute. She was tired and happy when I picked her up from a day of fun. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them to help care for our dog again!”

“Karen continues to do an amazing job with our dog. Outside of our immediate family, she is the only person who has captured his heart! He gets so excited when I tell him he’s going to see and spend time with her. Karen takes great care to get to know and understand each dog she takes.”

About: For as long as I can remember I’ve had a love for animals, dogs especially. I’ve cared for them my entire life from the pups I grew up with, dogs of friends & neighbors to my own soul dog Lacey, who has inspired this Rover journey! I truly believe they are the purest creatures on this earth and taking the time to connect with each and every one that comes way, brings me so much happiness 🐾🤍 I’m happy to offer flexible scheduling! Life can be unpredictable so I’m here to make things a little easier! Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend trip or a daily walk, I’ve got you (and your best friend) covered ✔️ I am a proud & protective dog mama myself — so when your pup is with me, you can trust they will be cared for as my own. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I create a calm and loving environment where dogs feel secure and at ease. I know just how important it is to feel confident when leaving a member of the family in someone else’s hands and I take that responsibility to heart 🫶🏼

About: I have taken care of puppies of relatives and acquaintances approximately between 3-2 years, they have trusted that I will treat them with all the love in the world, give them their food, take them out to do their needs, bathe them, give them their medications and play with them. I have also taken care of kittens, played with them, given them food and water, cleaned their litter box. My daily routine is to go for a walk with my baby two or three times a day depending on the dog's schedule to go out, my routine is very calm and I disagree with the dog I am taking care of and my baby. I live in an apartment complex which has a special park just for dogs and green areas to be able to spend it quietly mind, I give him a prize that is allowed by the owner, and I take him out to do his needs. When I take care of the dog at the owner's house I do a quiet routine, walk him to stretch and go to the bathroom, return home to rest and refresh, give him a reward that the owner agrees to use, play a little with the dog and give him a last walk to do his needs, if the owner needs me to give him dinner I do it with pleasure.

About: I have been a pet owner my whole life as well as an animal lover! I have volunteered at shelters as well as adopted 2 rescue dogs. I have really been around every breed and behavior. I’m available most weekends with open availability. My schedule is fairly flexible during the week and make it open if need be for your convenience. I have had a 70lb dog and currently have a 56lb dog. I’m good with harnesses and leashes for all size dogs! I also have had multiple dogs on daily medication so very well versed in giving medication too.

About: What sets me apart is the lifelong experience starting from childhood, patience, and heart I bring to every pet I care for. I raised my own dog from just 6 weeks old to nearly 16 years old, which gave me deep insight into every stage of a pet’s life, from potty training and puppy energy to the gentleness and attention senior pets need. I’m skilled in creating calm, structured environments that help pets feel secure, especially those who are shy, elderly, or need special care. I’ve supported pets through everything from crate training and basic commands to giving medications and adjusting routines for aging bodies. As a work from home sitter in a quiet, single person household, I’m able to offer consistent companionship and supervision. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like family with patience, understanding, and genuine love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I work from home. I am available 7 days a week, as my schedule is extremely flexible. I lost my little Zia two weeks before her 16th birthday. I'm use to having a pet around, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the day. I'm able to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, and snuggles whether they're staying with me or I'm stopping by your home. Because I'm not rushing out the door for a commute or juggling a busy household, I can be fully present and responsive to your pet’s needs. Caring for animals isn’t just something I squeeze in, it’s a part of my rhythm, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel loved and secure every day. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, loving, and low stress environment that feels familiar and comforting to them. In my home, your pet will enjoy a peaceful, single person household with no other animals, they will get all the attention and care they deserve. I have a yard perfect for supervised outdoor time, play, or potty breaks. Inside, they’ll have cozy spaces to relax, and I stick closely to your pet’s usual routines to help them feel at home. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and your pet’s territory. I follow feeding, walking, and playtime routines as instructed and make sure your pet feels calm and cared for in their own environment. I’ll also keep you updated with photos, notes, and peace of mind. Whether in my space or yours, I provide patient, personalized care always with your pet’s comfort and safety as my top priority.

“Sweetest person of all time! Brianna watched our cavapoo for a couple days while we stayed at the HH National RV park. She lives very close by and was super flexible to accommodate any times I needed to extend or end early. She works from home, has a beautiful house and a sweet little dog of her own. We had one request which was not to ever leave our dog alone and Brianna was more than happy to accommodate. Will absolutely use her again when back in Beaufort, Bluffton or Hilton Head!”

Alyssa L.
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about how amazing my daughter is when it comes to caring for animals, particularly dogs! Since she was a little girl, she had a special bond with every fur baby we've had in our family. Alyssa has always had a natural affinity for all kinds of animals, but there's something truly special about the way she connects with dogs. From the moment she interacts with them, whether it's walking, feeding, or playing, she exudes a sense of care and responsibility that goes beyond. Her love for animals is evident in everything she does, but it's her organizational skills and attention to detail that truly set her apart. She’s always on top of schedules, making sure that every dog in her care gets exactly what they need—exercise, food, attention, and affection. Her responsible nature ensures that you can always count on her to follow through on commitments, and her caring personality means that your pet will feel safe, loved, and happy in her presence. She is not just someone who watches over pets; she treats them as part of the family, making sure they get the best possible care while you’re away. I’m so proud of how Alyssa has developed this wonderful skill set, but in truth, I believe it comes naturally to her. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any dog-sitting or walking needs. If you're looking for someone who is organized, loving, and completely trustworthy, look no further—she’s the perfect fit for any pet!”

“Megan is excellent with dogs. She is kind and caring as well as excellent with medicine or other special needs dogs may have. She has adopted several dogs over the years from the shelter that have various ongoing medical issues that nobody else wanted to adopt and is very diligent about their care. She would be a great dog sitter for your 4 legged family members”

Edra S.
“My dog really doesn't cozy up to strangers at all so we were very skeptical about anyone being able to handle him.... But to our surprise after meeting with Edra and how she was able for lack of a better term do her dog whispering thing lol Diesel calmed down and that was something that has never happened.... We were able to go away and not have to worry so much about how he was getting along and that piece of mind was invaluable!!!! We have found our new Dog sitter!!!!”

Brighton Beach dog parents share their Rover experiences
Left our 2 poodle boys with Bird for a long day and she was great! Several pics of their stay and playtime with 2 doodle girls, which I know they loved! Bird knew exactly how to introduce them to each other, which I always look for. Will definitely reach out to Bird, again!!😘

This was our first time using Rover and we chose Rich and Dee and we could not have been more impressed. Our little Chase was cuddled, hugged, walked and well cared for during his stay. They sent us photos and texted us on his well being! They made our first experience wonderful and we will continue to use them for future care!
