About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

She is also really good at getting my animals to take their medications. I have a geriatric dog who has laser treatments for arthritis and needs to take about 18 pills a day and somehow Allison manages to find all the ones that my dog thinks she has hidden after she "pretends" to take them. I have Allison sleep over at my house when I am away for business as well. One time I was in the hospital for a stay that was supposed to be 3 days that ended up being 12. Allison made sure that my dog was taken care of even though I didn't have it scheduled with her and I know she was busy at the time. We also have a very fussy cat who makes a mess when she feels neglected. She has never once retaliated against us upon our returns from vacations when Allison is on the job. I trust her inherently with my animals. ”

I understand what it is like to let strangers into your home to take care of your pets and will do everything I can to make your and your friend feel comfortable.
