Brooklyn did a great job taking care of my kitty when I had to go out of town on short notice. She was wonderful to work with, her attention to detail and communication skills are top notch. My shy cat quickly warmed up to her after a few visits. This shows that Brooklyn is great with animals, as my pet is very selective about who she trusts. I look forward to booking with Brooklyn again and I would highly recommend her to others looking for a pet sitter.

About: I've had pets since I was a kid, cats and dogs, so I've taken care of them as kittens and puppies, and in old age, administering medication, giving them injections, putting medicine in their food, drops in their ears, feeding them and giving them water as well as treats, baths, taking them for walks, bringing them to the vet and playing with them. I also have about 10 years of experience with other people's pets as a house-sitter and dropping in them to play with them and walk them. I have 3 cats of my own, so I do take care of them daily, but I am free Monday-Sunday as a house-sitter and drop-in. The same care I give my cats is the same care I'll give your pets, love, kindness, patience, compassion, and of course scratches behind the ears.

Callae was really great for dropping in on our needy cat. We did a meet and greet before we left town and she was friendly and accommodating. Our cat was alive when we got back and not too stir crazy from a lack of human contact.

About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

About: I have taken care of a dog, a cat, and farm animals since I was 12 years old. I love walking long distances with my dog. I am also very good at reading animal body language and I know how to do all of the basic animal care necessities. I am currently working from home so I would have lots of time for walks and hikes and play. I will make sure your dog comes home happy and tired. I do have a golden retriever and our schedule that your dog would also follow unless they’re special needs is we wake up at seven am, we go outside to go potty, then feed them they play and rest then we go for a walk. We love our Whipple Creek 🌲❤️ Trail then we drive home and rest. Then later I give them their second feeding, take them out to go to the bathroom and take a small walk in our neighborhood before it’s time to rest and chill and head to bed. I live in a cozy gated apartment with my husband, Greg and my golden retriever. My husband works as a in-home caregiver and when he gets home he helps me out. He is also an animal lover, and if I am housesitting, he travels with me as well as my very friendly golden retriever. I promise as a married couple we will respect your house and environment we will also bring our own sleeping equipment and we don’t mind doing house chores.

Lilieana was so kind and gracious in the booking process. She also lives nearby so made everything pretty easy. The pups looked pleased on the pictures and are happy that we are home . Frankie sniffed around for a little while wondering if she was going to come back. Definitely a great sitter pick.

About: I can be excited and outgoing, or calm and quiet, depending on your dog’s personality. I’m able to gain their trust quickly, and that’s something I’m extremely proud of. Dogs deserve all the love, support, attention, care (and treatos!) we can give them—and that’s exactly what your dog would receive in my care. I truly care about how a dog is feeling, not just checking the boxes of the basics. I’m passionate about making sure every dog feels heard, understood, safe, and cared for to the best of my abilities. I’m currently working part-time, so for right now I’d be limited to check ins and dog walks. It’s possible that’ll change soon so still reach out if you’re interested in the other services! I have a 4 year old mini golden retriever that gets along great with other dogs and she loves little kids too. I’m in a small apartment and don’t have a yard, so it might be best if I travel to you so your dog feels safe and comfortable in their environment.

About: I grew up with pets and have been taking care of my own for almost 15 years now. I have experience administering medication, such as pills, eye or ear drops, fluids, and insulin shots. I volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center so I’m used to feeding and cleaning after all kinds of animals. I am clean, organized, patient, and have a calm demeanor that puts pets at ease. I will take care of your babies like they’re my own, and follow the instructions closely :) I work 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday and I’m available at any other time. I can go there before and after work, and I’m fully free on weekends. I can also go during my lunch time if the location is in or near Oregon City. I’m able to crate your dogs if needed. I can take them on walks, or to parks or short hikes if preferred. I can house sit and take care of your plants and do some light cleaning if needed as well.

About: Hi, I’m Jenny! I’m an experienced animal-care professional with several years of hands-on experience working in pet hotels and pet food stores, along with a lifetime of caring for animals of my own. During my time working as a pet hotel lead, I cared for animals with a wide range of personalities, routines, and needs. That experience taught me that good pet care isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some animals warm up immediately, while others need patience, consistency, and a little extra time to feel comfortable. I’m experienced with following detailed feeding and care routines, administering medications, accommodating food aversions and sensitive stomachs, responding to food strikes, and adapting when unexpected situations come up. I’m comfortable working under pressure and, most importantly, I pay attention. Changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, energy, or routine can be important, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet seriously. After spending some time working as an office manager at a wellness clinic, I realized how much I missed working with animals. Caring for them has always been something that comes naturally to me, and returning to animal care feels like getting back to work I genuinely enjoy and find meaningful. At home, I have two cats of my own, Frank and Mabel, so I also understand pet care from an owner’s perspective. Trusting someone new with an animal you love can be stressful. When a pet is in my care, I treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I would want someone to give my own. I’m happy to learn the little things that make your pet your pet—their routines, favorite spots, quirks, boundaries, and the things that help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going back home. Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I’m excited to make professional pet care part of it again. My goal is simple: provide dependable, attentive care for your pet and give you the confidence of knowing they’re in capable hands. I am currently doing pet care and house cleaning full time, which allows my schedule to be extremely flexible. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, with availability throughout most of the day. I am happy to work around you and your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is keeping their environment as familiar and consistent as possible. I will respect your home, follow any household instructions you leave for me, and make sure doors, windows, gates, and other potential escape points are secure when coming and going. I’m also mindful that every home and pet comes with its own set of rules. Whether that means keeping certain doors closed, separating pets during meals, using a specific entrance, checking the yard before letting a dog outside, or making sure a determined cat doesn’t make a break for it when the front door opens, I’m happy to learn how things work in your home and stick to them. I want you to come home to your pets safe, happy, and comfortable, and your home better than you left it.

Jennifer has been a stalwart drop-in sitter for our dog Guinness for half a year now. She has put up with schedule changes, a sick puppy, and miscommunication on our end with absolutely no guff. Truly the best possible sitter we could have ever wished for. Jennifer is the best. Can't recommend enough.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 3,269 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Bridal Veil. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bridal Veil. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
